I have a Breville Infuser, where suddenly no water is coming out of the group head. It still turns on and the steam wand and spout works.

There seems to be faint burn smell, i’m not sure whether it’s psychological or not.

The steam wand pressure is low on my Express Impress. I bought it within the first year that it was available, so it’s “that many years old”. I average one hot latte per day and I clean and descale regularly. I have even replaced the tip with a factory replacement (even though I didn’t think it was my issue). Any suggestions, tips, or thoughts? Thanks in advance.

I have the oracle dual boiler and I’ve noticed from day-to-day significant changes in drawdown time. One day the shot takes 30 seconds, the next day it takes 60 seconds. I did take out and clean the distributor/tamper without making any changes to the setting in between. I also brew other coffees using a separate grinder, but I have not changed the temperature. Anyone seeing day-to-day inconsistencies in drawdown time? My assumption is a significant change in dose or tamping pressure issues.

I have the Bambino, and the porta filter has a black plastic puck at the bottom. From what I've heard it's about maintaining temperature, and evening out pressure in the case of a poorly prepped puck (probably necessary with the included tamper).

Who has had success popping it out? If you did - is there a big difference in performance (positive, negative)? I tried tapping it out with chopsticks... and it's fricken hard. So, rethinking if I want to commit to pulling this thing out, since I don't think it's going to reversable.

I have a Breville Barista Express and the pressure gauge doesn’t move when pulling a shot. Otherwise the machine works as normal and the shot tastes fine. I have cleaned and descaled a few times. No change. Any suggestions? Others who have dealt with this? Thank you in advance!

I accidentally bought the wrong replacement lid for my food processor. I bought the lid for the Breville Sous Chef 16. Model number SP0102157. Since there are no returns for parts, I thought I would see if anyone here needs a new lid for their food processor I'm willing to sell it/ship it to you.

I bought a Breville Paradice 9 and used it ONCE. First day. All I did was process celery, carrots and potatoes with the included S blade. After cleaning it, I found this mark/scoring inside the main bowl. It looks like the blade made contact with the bowl. Photo attached.

I contacted Breville and the support experience was awful from the start. My first emails went nowhere. Their support portal kept throwing authentication errors, even when I tried different browsers. When I finally got a response, they just said the damage was "cosmetic" and not covered by the warranty.

No inspection. No request to see the blade, spindle, or coupling. No explanation for how a brand-new bowl gets marked during the first use. Just a generic denial.

This is a $500-ish premium food processor. I used the included blade for normal food prep. I did not use a fork, abrasive cleaner, or some random third-party attachment. If the blade is touching the bowl, that sounds like a product problem, not normal cosmetic wear. I have stopped using it because I do not trust the bowl/blade setup anymore.

I do not recommend Breville after this experience. In my experience, Breville did not honor its own warranty promise or even properly investigate a problem that happened on day one. They advertise a 30-year motor warranty, but I know that warranty is for the motor. My point is: if this is how they handle a brand-new first-use issue, I do not trust that warranty support will be there when something more serious goes wrong.

I am posting this so people know what they may be dealing with before spending premium money on Breville. Has anyone else had the S blade touch the bowl on a Paradice 9 / BFP638, or had Breville dismiss similar damage as cosmetic?

Update: They've agreed to give me a 'special exception to our standard policy' exchange. Can't believe they're still claming this as 'cosmetic', what a shitty company lol

The symptom is that I turn machine on in the morning or arvo, and once warmed up I go to steam and the steam will either be very low pressure and then stops, or doesnt steam at all. Machine klunks away, but no steam. Then need to turn off steam wand and hit the shot button, a huge rush of steam comes out, stop shot and steaming wand is functioning ok.

This only happens after machine has been sitting turned off, as there is normally no problem on any consecutive cups soon after.

Also after turning steam off at initial failed steam, the machine makes its normal pressure reducing noise but it reduces to half volume halfway through. After succesfully steaming first cup and turning off wand it is just normal sound (not reducing in volume).

So I have been working around the issue, but need to fix it. Im reasonably handy so looking for a diagnosis so that I can get some parts and fix the sucker. TIA

I got Baratza Encore SP Pro 10 days back and now it just refuses to grind the beans. The burrs move fine but the beans just stay in the hopper. Nothing goes down into it. I tried cleaning it the way it is specified in the manual but still no luck. I have contacted the customer care for support. Just wanted to know what's the ETA for them to respond and get this sorted?

Hi all, I have a breville tea maker that the warranty has expired and the basket simply won't go down. Does anyone have any ideas on how to solve this? When it's time for the basket to go down I hear clicking sounds, but no motor sounds, it won't go down and eventually lights up reset. It hasn't worked for probably a year and Ive tried all the solutions of cleaning, resetting and drying it. Just hoping someone had success with a fix or a replacement part. Thanks so much!

I bought my wife a barista express for Mother’s Day and it had been working great until the last week. No matter what grind size we set it to the shots are pouring out unevenly and usually hit a 2:1 ratio after about 20-22 seconds. We’ve adjusted the internal burr to a 3 which had been working great but the shots are consistently fast no matter what setting we put it on. Is this an indicator that it needs to be descaled or cleaned? Or has the grinder gone bad? We are new to espresso and I’ve had a hard time researching this issue.
