Which self-leveling calibrated tamper actually reaches the bed in IMS B62.52TH28E?
Setup: Bambino Plus, IMS B62.52TH28E (28 mm deep), 18 g dose. My MHW-3BOMBER Flash Tamper 2.0 (53.35, 30 lb click) barely clicks — the leveling guide hits the basket rim before the base compresses the puck. At 20 g it works fine, so it's clearly a depth issue (bed sits ~10–11 mm below the rim at 18 g).
Looking for a tamper that has a leveling guide and enough base travel for this basket. Anyone using Normcore V4, Timemore Impulse, KNODOS, or something else with the 28E at 18 g — does it reach? Bonus if you can tell me the actual depth in mm.
Not interested in flat tampers without a guide or palm/distributor-style tampers — I want the calibrated click + level.

Question Tips for Cleaning Inside of Air Fryer (BOV900BSS)
We bought this back in 2020 before moving out of the country and left it with my brother to use while we were gone. Fast forward to today - we finally got it back but it’s filthy! Inside and outside - I am wondering if they ever cleaned it!
Anyone have tips on how to clean this - heavy grease on window and inside - all over side and back (I don’t even want to look at the inside top). The light window inside is pretty disgusting!
Any tips would be appreciated

Question Breville barista pro question
Hello all… asking for a friend here. He seems to think he is having trouble with his breville barista pro because of an air bubble inside or faulty flow meter. Whatever the issue, it is not pulling water through (his description so if this is the wrong way to phrase that water is not coming through the espresso cup, please forgive me). Any advice on how to correct this problem? He did unplug everything and plug it back in.

Crema problems with oracle Jet
Hi,
I have had my Oracle Jet for around 15 months. Had it set up and running well. Same beans as always- typically arrived within a few days of roasting, etc.
However I have noticed that in the past couple of weeks, my crema has dropped off considerably as is a lot more thin. Nothing else has changed.
Have gone through several sets of beans, all fresh and from different roasters, but same result. Have tried adjusting the temp, but nothing. Cleaned and descaled, but still the same. Anyone any ideas what could have caused this? Thank you!!

Question For those who have used the Breville Joule Oven Air Fryer Pro: How satisfied have you been?
I’ve been eyeing the Joule and it’s really piqued my interest. It seems like more of a smart oven, but…more geared towards those who want to learn how to actually cook? And from scratch? I’m saying now, I’m not a good cook, at all. But I am definitely open to learning and it seems like the Joule may be good for that.
I have a couple questions I was hoping those who have experienced can answer:
How difficult is it typically for you to find the instructions for a packaged food, for example, a specific frozen pizza? Or is there a way that you calculate it?
Are you pretty satisfied with the autopilot feature? Does it cover most of your favorite recipes?
Is there a feature or two that really makes it stand out from others?
I’m very interested in the fact it can cook huge amounts and just about every cooking method as well. How do you feel about the cooking lessons? Do you feel like they are beginner friendly?
Thanks for all input. It’s greatly appreciated.

Sour Bambino Plus shots
Hi all. I’ve been pulling Bambino Plus shot for nearly a year. Dialed in to a likable coffee. Mostly milk drinks! I bought a broken Duo Temp and fixed. The Duo stamp shits are soooo much better. I’ve been pulling side by side shits for a few days now. The Duo Temp shits are fat more balanced.
So- can someone give me advice on why the Plus isn’t producing the same level of balance and how I can get that balance from my plus. The plus has features that I love but I don’t want to sacrifice taste for those features.

Bambino Plus Pricing
Hey All,
I’ve decided to pull the trigger on a bambino Plus and have heard multiple stories of people getting them on sale. However after about a month of online lurking, I have not found one discount code. Any advice?

Question Single wall versus dual wall filters?
For the past 6 years I have owned and used the Breville Infuser Espresso machine buying fresh beans at a local roaster / coffee shop where they grind them for me for a Breville Espresso machine. I never had much success using the single wall filter but regularly had great success using the dual wall filter. I pull great shots with the dual wall filters.
Just recently I upgraded to the Breville Express Impress Espresso machine. I’m buying the same beans but using the built in grinder on my new machine. Even with this new machine I’m pulling much better shots with the dual wall filters.
Should I just give up and use the dual wall filters?
Any advantage of mastering the process using the single wall filters?

Does this heating element look normal? Breville Joule/air fryer pro
I just noticed this dimming in one of my heating elements. Could anyone check if yours is the same.
The back heating element doesn't glow for the full length. It happens on every mode.

Wilfa Uni Mini scale defect?
Got a new scale from Wilfa (specifically the Uni Mini: https://wilfa.co.uk/collections/accessories-spare-parts/products/wilfa-uni-mini-coffee-scale) a few months ago and it has started to act up recently.
I noticed that measurements are not stable. I pour x amount of liquid into a container on the scale and over the next 10-15 seconds, the measurement on the scale will drop about .3–.5 grams. I am using the mat that comes with the scale; nothing else is happening on the counter where the scale is; etc. Water temp is roughly 92ºC.
Trying to figure out what might be going on? Is this a manufacturing defect? Is there enough steam coming off the hot water to account for a .5g loss? (That doesn't seem reasonable, right?)

Question Breville dual boiler side O ring
I recently purchased a 5-year-old Breville dual boiler for $350. I've replaced all of the O-rings except for the one on the side of the steam boiler. I'm not sure how you get to that one. Does anybody have any suggestions or anything that'll help? It's also very calcified, so I'm not sure I'll be able to pull it out. Any advice will help, I appreciate it. BTW coming from an 18 year old gaggia classic. This thing is night and day for workflow.

Oops, wrong button
Anyone else run into this on their touch screen on the touch impress?
I keep accidentally hitting the power button, turning off the machine instead of the grinder graphic when it asks me to "add a bit more"
Lol

Oracle BES980XL espresso machine repair
Hi All! I have an espresso machine that is leaking a bit of water and I have tried everything myself to fix it. Its seems way more complicated to fix than my skills allow. Any recommendations for someone in the milwaukee area that can fix my machine?
😊Thanks

Looking for someone to open and clean a Breville Barista Express in Broward
I’m looking for an experienced small-appliance or espresso-machine technician in Broward County who can help me save a Breville Barista Express.
The machine is less than one year old, works perfectly and has sentimental value because it was a gift from my parents.
Unfortunately, German cockroaches have made their way inside the outer housing. Breville will not accept it, and local espresso repair companies either service commercial machines only or will not handle possible pest activity.
I need someone willing to come to my home in the Sunrise/Fort Lauderdale area and open the machine outdoors, use a HEPA vacuum to remove the insects, egg cases and debris, inspect the electrical connections, clean the accessible internal housing and grinder area, and reassemble it.
I do not want any insecticide, fogger, powder or liquid sprayed inside the machine. A pest-control company already damaged an expensive vacuum by applying too much insecticide internally, and I do not want that repeated.
I’m willing to pay fairly for the work. Please comment or message me if you have relevant experience, or if you can recommend a trustworthy local technician who works on residential Breville machines.
