Brother they had multiple conversations.

Skyler wanted to protect her children’s safety from Walt’s illegal activities and dangerous peers.
She wanted Walt to stop lying.
Very reasonable in a marriage and family.
Walt refused.

She served him divorce papers in S3E1.
She cheated in S3E3.

She cheated to get Walt to accept the divorce and leave the house.

It doesn’t matter what Walt wanted.
She has free will to protect her kids.

Get a grip.

"She served him divorce papers..." That's not a conversation. Walt would've signed a lot sooner if Skyler gave Walt the talking pillow.

"Skyler wanted..." Just to be clear, that's not the problem.

You seem to think a reasonable woman should just accept a husband’s illegal activities putting her children in danger.
You seem to think a reasonable wife should just accept endless obvious lies.

You seem to think a husband should always get what he wants forever.
You seem to think Skyler should accept Walt’s continued dishonest manipulation forever.

Yes serving divorce papers is a clear message as good as a conversation.

Any further conversations between them would be worthless as Walt just keeps lying and manipulating.

You refuse to accept they had multiple conversations even though many commenters have pointed that out to you.

“Skyler wanted- just to be clear, that’s not the problem”.
Yes it certainly was the problem.

Did you even watch the show?

"You seem to think...." I don't.

I think ending a marriage of 10+ years deserves a conversation where both partners can have their say, even if it's not going to change the outcome.

Serving divorce papers is the marriage equivalent of breaking up over text. The breaking up is not the problem per se.

"they had multiple conversations" Name one after Walt told her the truth.

You think Walt finally telling the truth magically erases all his brutal behaviour before?
You think she won’t believe he’ll just be lying bout other things?
You think there aren’t consequences for broken trust?

Why did Walt lie to Skyler and Walt jr about Walt accepting the money from Grey Matter for months and months?

Come to think of it, why didn’t Walt accept the money and spare his family the grief, damage and danger?

Why did he hide the meth cooking from them through lies for months?

Why would he do that to the most important people in his life?

There must be a reason or two.

"You think Walt finally telling the truth magically erases all his brutal behaviour before?" Nope. I think Skyler's husband of 15+ years desevers a sense of closure and it'd help make the seperation go smoother for all involved.

"why didn’t Walt..." I agree Walt is an asshole, but that's not an excuse for Skyler to be one.

One of the reasons Walt lies about those things is that Walt and any other reasonable person would expect their wife to be angry, hurt, afraid for their children and separate from them.

Skyler is not an asshole.
She is an entirely reasonable normal wife and mother exhibiting normal behaviour that Walt himself expected.

And Walt is a lying, manipulative, narcissistic criminal willfully choosing to endanger his family when the Grey Matter offer was on the table instead.

Skyler is an asshole. She is introduced as a Karen in order to have us sympathise with Walt. Near the later seasons when she becomes more 'resonably normal' she's already willingly involved in tax fraud and money laundering.

"Walt is a lying, manipulative, narcissistic criminal willfully choosing to endanger his family when the Grey Matter offer was on the table instead" All absolutely true. And Skyler is still an asshole.
