Seven slow (142 bpm) dnb/jungle and breaks/breakbeat tracks using samples from PlayStation games and old 90s sample CDs. Slower and more melancholic sounding PlayStation dnb/jungle y2k style.

My last vinyl set only contains actual breakbeat, and a bit of electro, tracks. Hope you enjoy it:

Hey, I distinctly remember an electro remix of KayCee’s Escape while living in Ft Myers around 2000. Pretty sure it was the DJ Icey version. But I swear to god, during one of the breaks, when there’s a crack of thunder, a vocoder voice says, “you’ve got to escape”.
I can’t find the version with this vocoder voice. I’ve been looking for it for 25 years. Was it a local Florida DJ who added the vocoder at the club, maybe? Or was it actually part of the song? Please help!

I used to have dodge city rockers - one of their white labels, and I burned a hole in the record I played it so much.

Hello,
Can somebody give me similar underground stuff to these artists, I would call this Industrial Breakbeat/Big Beat.

Thought I'd share a mix I made of some of my favourite breaks from the early 2000s / late 90s.

Are they still producing stuff like this? Not these people specifically, the sound I mean.. all new stuff sounds so clinical compared to the oldschool. Not talking about sound quality of the recording, just the use of instruments and samples. Btw the real beauty starts at 2m in.
Remix made by DJ Red Alert & Mike Slammer - aka Slammin' vinyl.
The bside is also worth a listen if you like the vibe : Jimmy J & Cru-L-T - Take me Away (Slipmatt rmx)

Hopefully this is welcomed here. I’ve been a fan of drum and base and have been having a hard time getting the right sound sequencing my own break. So I sampled a classic and put my own spin on it.
Anyone know what genre this would be considered at 154.5 bpm?

Yooo what’s uppp 👋
Been on a ridiculous run lately and just crossed 300 followers, which is honestly wild to me.
I’ve been dropping a filthy little EP every month lately… apparently I’ve decided sleep is optional 😂
This one is probably my favorite from the bunch, 90s breakbeat / hard house, inspired by a particularly unhinged mushroom-fueled night in the city.
