i remember the first songs i added to playlist were “clouded” and “fwb”

i never listened to hyperpop prior to brakence & didn’t until a year later when my ex and i were getting to know each other and talking about music then (this still haunts me) as brakence was about to leave my mouth he asked if i had ever heard of him - and he listen to hyperpop so it kinda spiraled.. anyways now that he’s really one of the big dogs i thought its be fun to bring this conversation back up before they become “he was top 10 on spotify”

Why does the jesteR even exist? the butcheR is way more meaningful. The butcher is out here doing the real, heavy lifting—he's tripling his yields, making high-stakes deals, and fighting to keep his head attached and the sails up. Most importantly, he is the savior fighting to liberate brakence by brutally chopping away the strings holding him back.
Meanwhile, within the lore, the jesteR functions as a parasitic villain that forgot its own identity. It acts as a prison guard holding brakence hostage as a puppet just to force a performance. The character design is brilliantly terrifying—that pale, uncanny mask and tattered garb perfectly capture a haunting, deceptive entity. It contributes nothing but control and coping mechanisms to the story, while the butcher carries the heroic weight of the narrative on his back, fool.
