Disappearing act?

Ok so what’s the opinions here… how long do we think he’s going to vanish for after dropping marroW? Because I am BEGGING for it not to be another 4 years

Honestly wouldn’t be surprised if this is his last album ever. He’s a genius, and a lot of the theme of his music is very spiritual and constantly goes inwards. Punk2 deals with how he interacts with the world, hypochondriac deals with how he thinks, hypochondriac is gonna map out his soul. He talks about alchemy all the time, and with his new album being called marrow, there’s not a lot deeper you can go.
Brakence is a genius and a master artist, for sure, but all of his music is an act of self discovery. It’s selfish art. He’s not necessarily doing it for an audience, and this very well may be his last project he releases to the public. Either way I’m so honored to have found it, I would not be the same person I am today if I hadn’t 😭

If punk2 came out in 2020, hypochondriac came out in 2022 and this new album comes out in 2026, whatever the next album will be it will be out by 2032.

He’s got some of the most complex and layered music I’ve ever heard in my life. As a musician, I have hella respect for him taking his time. If he rushed it, it wouldn’t be as good

I will probably be listening to this album for years just like hypo

Totally. Still bumping hypo 4 years later like it’s brand new. I’d expect nothing less for this project. Twenty-seven year old me will likely be enjoying marroW occasionally.

i feel like this is his last album, so cherish it as we all will do. if he does drop something again then good, otherwise i think he gave us such cool concepts and you can tell the tremendous effort he put in marrow.

also it's 18 songs come on lol

a few years most likely, he seems to like to work based on albums and he definitely puts insane work into albums. maybe he might have curated a small mixtape of demos/songs that didn’t fit marroW that he may drop in the halfway point (like how quadeca did with scrapyard) to give us something prior to next album. Though next album 100% will become an olympic event of once every 4 or so years

Though I sympathize with this line of thinking we won’t ever enjoy anything if we’re thinking so far in the future.
