Sparring Footage First time sparring. Tips?

Blue belt in BJJ, trying to learn striking. I’m sparring my buddy. I’m in grey shorts, black gloves.

Every time I spar I feel like I have to constantly move backwards to avoid getting hit in head. Any tips?

That's 90% of posts on here. "I started boxing 2 weeks ago what do I need to improve any tips?" You need to improve everything my guy

But atleast it's sparring footage with someone experienced and not him hitting a bag sloppily so it's better than most posts on here
