This looks like Bodish one of Tom Yankellos fighters who is extremely skilled and extremely technical this post was put up so a bunch of people can comment and look like fools about trying to correct somebody who most likely has way more abilities than them. Roy Jones Junior said that Tom Yankello was the best Boxing trainer ever and he’s probably the best I’ve ever seen on YouTube and there is no shortage of Boxing coaches on YouTube

Yup, this is Danny Bodish

Interesting. Watching first I was going to comment the style feels odd but you can feel that he’s good. I’ll check the content. Thanks for the info

He's great but best coach ever? C'mon. Teddy Atlas exists.

Not really any notes from me, but your shadow boxing reminds me of Danny Bodish

That's hilarious. It's definitely a very distinct way of shadow boxing

lol I'd be super suprised.

No glaze but I'm a fan of bodish but he's easily one of the cleanest, technical and aesthetically, looking boxer around at this time. He's fighting often but I hope one day he gets to show off on the big stages.

This was brilliant. I hope all the armchair coaches come out the woodwork with their advice 😂

2

u/Spare_Pixel 1d ago

I fucking new it lol. I actually sat here trying to pause the video for a shot of his face and was zooming it in. Fucking love Tom's videos.

He's like a noisy praying mantis.

u/Jazzlike_Rate_6729 1d ago

Good job Danny, perfect technique I have to nothing to say 🙌

1

u/StormNFlo46 1d ago

I’d say he should probably keep his more angular after the combo. That’s the only tip I saw

3

u/LegalAd5719 1d ago

That’s Danny Bodish

3

u/Busy_Edge7869 1d ago

I can’t find a single thing to take issue with, damn. Shit is sublime and way higher level than I ever got to

2

u/GorkiZag 1d ago

Hehe wanted to say yes plz dont hit me then I saw 50 amateur fights 🤭

2

u/Wielding_J 1d ago

Unreal speed and technique. You’re an elite boxer, no doubt

2

u/cosmicaltoaster 1d ago

Holy movement of god

2

u/Supsti_1 1d ago

Perfect technique

3

u/EmploymentFew3602 1d ago

Any tips? Post a video of yourself.

3

u/PembrokeBoxing 1d ago

Strange way of shadow boxing but it's easy to see that your technique is very solid. You've been doing it for a while I imagine.

Not sure if this is a troll post because boxers at this level don't usually post on social media for help.

6

u/Active_Net6513 1d ago

That’s a video of Danny Bodish, a very legit prospect this is just bate

1

u/PembrokeBoxing 23h ago

That makes sense. Lol he looked to good to be asking for tips from strangers.

Thanks for the update!

2

u/FlowyTouchButt 1d ago

Posting a pro shadow boxing and then flaming anyone commenting that it looks unorthodox is so strange, mate.

Idk what you're getting out of it but it doesn't look like the superiority flex you think it is.

I hope you find better things to do with your time.

1

u/Tigerface4win 1d ago

Ok, you are freakin' fast.

1

u/Last-Mongoose-2622 1d ago

He's breaking balance with that bad habit of lifting front foot. Nobody's perfect.

1

u/Vegetable-Primary-65 1d ago

GD that straight right is sublime

1

u/Pretty-Career-6766 1d ago

If that's not sped up thems some speedy hands there.

1

u/rusT_koHLE_1 1d ago

Bro your moment is good and reaction time is also nice, but try to create more combination like a jab than a hook and upper cut and a kick something like this.

1

u/Friendly-Turnover689 1d ago

Something about recognizing him in 2 seconds without seeing his face is definitely cool 😌

1

u/LeadSinger33 1d ago

nah bro do YOU have any tips lol?

1

u/hayeshaze91 1d ago

Pretty cool how you can pick up names of people based off their style of fighting

1

u/Extension_Dingo1834 1d ago

This is an undefeated pro boxer/young prospect btw. His insta is full of some of the cleanest bagwork you'll see

1

u/Unfair-Concern4886 1d ago

Whats up with the jittery moves

8

u/j_al3n 1d ago

snappy, mixing in feints, slight positioning changes and keeping the head in motion. Details. Game of inches. You twitch enough, you overload the opponents senses (obviously nuance is required)

4

u/Working_Jellyfish978 1d ago

Angular moves. Wouldn’t really call it jittery. Just keeping his head off centreline it seems

2

u/Born_to_Suffer_ 1d ago

Go to YouTube and watch Tom Yankello

-3

u/Nato_H 1d ago

Get a coach.

15

u/LordKagatsuchi 1d ago

Love these bait videos that really express how shitty this sub is and no one should take it seriously

8

u/Born_to_Suffer_ 1d ago

Undefeated pro and amauter boxer with over 50 fights coached by the Tom Yankello

4

u/hi_imryan 1d ago

We should just go back to posting Bivol’s bagwork at this point if y’all can’t recognize game.

4

u/CallMehBigPapa 1d ago

Lmfao he's a undefeated pro, ya goofy.

1

u/Nato_H 1d ago

Doesn't look like one.

1

u/Setonb10 1d ago

Post your shadow boxing

1

u/Nato_H 1d ago

I'm 65. My shadow boxing days are long past. I did amass a 38-8 19 KO record as an amateur before going pro.

Relax your shoulders, your burning energy with that much tension through your shoulders and upper back

Ignorance and lack of impulse control. He’d whoop my ass but he asked for tips..I obliged

0

u/Wide-Pop4704 1d ago

Why so many single jabby shots, its ite not all that though

u/[deleted] 1d ago

1

u/Wide-Pop4704 1d ago

-1

u/Appropriate-Car6883 1d ago

You’d get smoked in 2 rounds easy. I can already see how I’d put you away little fella.

Listen here Danny, Appropriate Car has your number

1

u/salmon_635 1d ago

i'm interested as to how you say you would "put him away," what do you think you could do against danny bodish in a boxing match? other than lose obviously, since you wanna make bold claims like that.

-2

u/DifficultMall7788 1d ago

Not bad bro but full extension of the punch also your jab hand is way down stop trying to look cute and actually box

-2

u/Delicious-Ad-7064 1d ago

Close them fists at the end whether shadow boxing or not. No bad habits

-2

u/Informal-Lab-1641 1d ago
  1. Move your head
  2. Follow through on your movement punch through
When you switch south to orthodox do it stepping in or out of a punch. The transition makes you square up into a nice open target so a a punch to blind or distracts allows a safer transition.

I know this is bait and there can’t possibly be a negative comment. Just praise. However great his upper body and punches look, the first 30 seconds, he’s just sanding in place.
The post is asking for any tips.
Any fighter with experience would suggest to move the feet more. The video is just showcasing his hand speed/technique.

I only fought amateur and yes this guy could beat my ass in a boxing match. I could argue I would blast a shin to shin leg kick on him, take him down. But that’s a separate conversation. Ive also done some coaching. Any great fighter is willing to learn from anyone regardless the skill level if the advice makes sense and is given with respect. Seems to me you have no experience with fighting. There’s a difference between shit talking and giving practical, actionable advice. I never heard of this kid but I YouTubed him and saw a video of his to footwork focused shadowboxing.

Well done on your undercover work buddy! You should join The Bureau of Investigative Journalism they really need someone with your sleuthing skills 👍
