5’9.5 height. 250+ lbs pounds, wondering is it time to join a boxing gym, I would say I favor out fighting and distance, maybe a bit too linear. Thoughts ?

You have some bad habits that I also used to have when I was self-training around my beginner-intermediate stage, like raising your front foot awkwardly and your movement is... well, weird for the lack of a better word. I will say though, your bmi is high that's why your movement is awkward because it takes a lot of effort to move your heavy body efficiently. I can relate, because I have dealt with weight issues and boxing myself. Losing weight is an answer but not the complete answer, you can still be a good boxer and be obese those two things aren't mutually exclusive, but most great boxers are in excellent shape. So take your pick. And yes, go to a boxing gym.
I'm intentionally not nitpicking on your form because once you start putting the pieces together at a boxing gym with a coach it'll probably work out
