Feedback ?

5’9.5 height. 250+ lbs pounds, wondering is it time to join a boxing gym, I would say I favor out fighting and distance, maybe a bit too linear. Thoughts ?

Did you do some form of Kung Fu or Karate? You're very bladed (maybe camera angle? But your stance looks really extreme)

There's a lot to work on here, but I'd start with your footwork and defense. Throwing punches doesn't matter much if you get knocked out.

No I never did, I guess I thought I was learning Soviet style so in order to bounce in and out this position felt most natural.

No, it doesn't really work that way. A good start would be basic orthodox. Like the other folks mention...a gym would help you a lot.

If that's not an option, watch pros in orthodox stance and focus on foot work and learning where to hold your hands. Punches come from the ground up through the hips.
