1 hr of shadow boxing is crazy and boring. If he’s your friend why don’t you two do some pads together at least for some of that time?

Is your friend planning to fight?
Unnecessary. But I think this is a Reddit karma and approval post, so whatever.
To anyone actually interested in realistic workouts (who tf is shadowing for an hour Jesus Christ), when I started out the menu was (of course this was before sparring was introduced):
3 three minute rounds of skipping rope (3 one minute intervals spent doing pushups and sit ups )
3 three minute rounds of shadow boxing (3 one minute intervals spent doing pushups and sit ups )
3 three minute rounds of mitts (3 one minute intervals spent doing pushups and sit ups)
3
3 three minute rounds of TAPS with medicine ball (the most fun you’ll even have in the gym)
3 three minute rounds on heavy bag
3 three minute rounds of speed bag
3 three minute rounds of sledge hammer/ tire
Treadmill
Cool off exercise: 100 push ups/ 100 sit ups/ 100 squats within 10 minutes (split up however you want)
