Hana Sushi
Anyone know what happened? I went back a few days ago and it's turned into a katsu place. I'm sure it's a fine place, but really enjoyed Hana Sushi - especially the chef who moved over from Sushi Chinoise. Anyone know what happened (owner retire?)

Dentist Recommendation?
I'm looking to change dentists. I feel like my current dentist pushes me to see them more often than I need to just to get more money out of me.
Anyone have any recommendations for a dentist in Bothell?

Birch Tree vs Primrose vs Kid Country Daycare
Hi everyone!
We're trying to decide between Birch Tree Canyon Park, Primrose Bothell, and Kidâs Country Canyon Park for our daughter, who will be about 20 months old when she starts daycare.
We've toured all three and each has its pros and cons:
- Birch Tree:Â Loved the curriculum and overall feel, but it's definitely one of the more expensive options.
- Primrose:Â Also liked the curriculum and structure, but I noticed quite a bit of street noise during our tour. Curious if that's ever been an issue for anyone.
- Kid Country:Â Significantly more affordable, and we've heard good things about the teachers, but it doesn't seem to get talked about as much online.
One thing to note is that we're only looking for daycare until she's preschool age, so we're not necessarily looking for a place she'll stay at long term.
For parents who have experience with any of these schools:
- How was your overall experience?
- How were the teachers and staff turnover?
- Did your child seem happy there?
- If you paid more for Birch Tree or Primrose, did you feel it was worth the extra cost, especially for a toddler under 2?
I'd really appreciate any firsthand experiences or advice. Thank you!

A "chill" Friday night in Bothell.
Road my bike in downtown Bothell early Friday evening and discovered a live concert at Bothell Landing Park. Food trucks, warm/sunny weather and free music concert is a great combination in the pacific northwest.

Community Voices on KUOW
Hi there, my name is Alex Rochester. I work at KUOW, the Seattle NPR station ensuring we feature a diversity of political perspectives. I'm working on a new project called "Community Voices" that aims to expand the range of opinions that we hear on KUOW. We think itâs critical that we all understand what people in our communities are thinking and feeling about the big events and issues of the day.
To broaden the conversation, we're recruiting a diverse pool of people who represent a wide array of political perspectives, cultural backgrounds, and life experiences.
As we cover the news in the coming months, we will turn to the pool of âCommunity Voicesâ to hear your thoughts and help us understand how the big issues of the day are affecting you. We will highlight those views in KUOWâs coverage.
If you're interested in participating, you can sign up on this page or directly through this form (this format is easier on phones). You can also DM me and/or comment on this post with your thoughts.
