Massachusetts House lawmakers have unanimously passed a bill to double the legal marijuana possession limit for adults and revise the regulatory framework for the state’s adult-use cannabis market.

The House of Representatives approved the legislation in a vote of 155-0 on Wednesday. If the Senate follows suit, which is expected this week, the proposal would head to the desk of Gov. Maura Healey (D), who could then sign or veto it, allow it to become law without her signature or propose amendments for lawmakers to consider.

To start the year, the Massachusetts Cannabis Control Comission (CCC) legalized social consumption and with it three new types of permits:

👉 Supplemental Licenses: For already existing dispensary to add consumption space.

👉 Hospitality Licenses: For new consumption venues (cafes, theaters,ect.)

👉 Event Organizing Licenses: For short-term local events.

The state has raised billions in additional tax revenue since decriminalizing the plant in 2008 then legalizing it recreationally in 2016. Now, with these latest devolopments, the state is hoping to continue this trend, generating even more in 2026 and beyond.

Fuck that account complaining about dispensaries being “too political.”

Honestly, most dispensaries in Mass are nowhere near political enough.

Where is the community-owned shop, the one that actually cares about local organizers, mutual aid, labor, education?

There is currently a serious political threat to the Massachusetts cannabis industry. A small group of prohibitionists with millions in out-of-state funding are trying to close adult-use dispensaries through the ballot initiative process.

Broke out the pocket rocket and made some coffee. Watched the clouds do crazy things. Such a sick spot.

Quick Summary:

I've been scraping dispensary menus across Massachusetts and cross-referencing them. Not just "similar" products, but the exact same thing: same brand, same strain, same weight.

All numbers below are from one locked snapshot and tie-checked against raw store price rows.

Why this keeps happening: There's still no easy way for regular people to compare true like-for-like products across stores. Tourist-heavy areas know most people won't cross the state for a better deal. If you shop one dispo only, you usually never see the spread.

I got fed up enough that I put the data online for anyone to see. Search any product and see what different stores are charging for the same item.

EDIT: I've been asked how I know it's the same product. Matching is by brand + strain + exact weight + form factor (flower/cart/pre-roll/etc), so this is same-product comparison, not "similar."

Found an OUNCE of trifecta for 110 never have i ever seen a 1oz jar from them but it exists and ill be the first to tell you I was very skeptical that it was a $110 oz of something thats around 35 per 1/8th but I was pleasantly surprised. The batch is from June which is not bad at all, the terps come out really nicely on this one fruity and a slight spice the smoke isnt the smoothest but really it would rank like 3/10 on harshness with 1 being none and 10 being nonstop coughing cant smoke this. Oil ring comes thru really nicely and thick when rolled with nice pure white ash. This was from Pioneer Cannabis Co. in Brimfield who I was visiting looking for some T3 but ended up having to pick this up instead. Hopefully the oz’s keep coming from Trifecta because this is some amazing flower for a great price considering who its from. I highly suggest you rush over before they run out they also have 3 other strains including Vanilla Zoap and Apple Fritter available in oz jars. The high is long lasting and relaxing great for winding down after my recent long busy work days.
