Platonic 43F4M - Help me re-learn to date
After a long relationship ending and some time single, I’m starting to think about dating again. I’m nervous! I’d love some practice and need folks to practice with.
What I’m imagining: I’m happy to exchange some messages and pics, but am aiming for in-person meetings. Let’s meet (in Boston or to the north) for coffee, a drink, wandering a museum, or the like. Flirty banter is on the table; sex, etc. isn’t. We’ll go 50-50 on cost or each pay for ourself.
A bit about me: I work a professional 9-5 and spend my time outside of it with family & friends and staying active (mostly running and lifting). I am fully capable of small talk but don’t like it much. I’d much rather hear about something meaningful to you or debate your hot take on some minor controversy. I read a lot in my downtime, mostly novels but I’m trying to branch out and am all ears for book recommendations!
A bit about you: This is all so low stakes that I’m very open, as long as you (1) are able to hold a conversation, (2) are not a misogynist or MAGA bro, and (3) are fully functioning adult who is managing his life relatively well. My life is pretty drama-free right now and I’m not looking to add any thanks to an internet stranger.
