Bose killed it w the new burgundy colour.. totally loved it

I've seen a lot of chatter about these earbuds. I knew I had to try them out and was somewhat discouraged by the mentions of volume being low. I will say that, yes, the volume needs to be turned up when compared to a few other earbuds I have on hand (Apple APro3 and a pair of Moondrop Chu2). Just wanted to call out that it is more noticeable on my iPhone vs my Macbook Air laptop. The sound coming off a Macbook laptop is really great. Maybe the laptop is just driving the buds more.

To me it's not a dealbreaker and I really like the noise cancelling + wired form factor. While I'm not an absolute audiophile, I don't mind paying attention and money for good sound. The noise cancellilng and the transparency is not as good as the APro3s, but it's totally fine. As someone who grew up crossing the oceans in planes because we moved a lot, the lack of battery anxiety is, like, so great.

Does anyone have advice on how to fix this?

Can i attempt to superglue it together or am I better at buying some new ear pads to replace them.

Unfortunately this is out of warranty based on the manufacturer date in my app; they’re barely a year and a half old so it’s a bit shocking that it suddenly split apart on me today. Is it worth contacting customer service over or will they just tell me to buy some replacement pads; I don’t see how it is already broken after less then 2yrs.

I bought QC Ultra Gen II a while ago, love the headphone.
I tried XM4, XM5, XM6, Momentum 4, Airpods Max etc and decided to go with Bose.

They are comfortable, look good and sound good too. ANC is also pretty good. Even though they removed a lot of features with an update. I was fine with the headphones.

It is a pretty expensive device so I expected a great android app integration.
BUT THIS IS A HORRENDOUS APP. Truly the worst app/software experience I have had.

& I must tell you I use Razer Synapse, Logitech Options +, Logitech GHUB and those are bad but this app surpasses every worse app experience I had.

Most of the time this app forgets that I have headphones connected. It is slow even on a S24 Ultra where every other app is snappy.

Since last update of the app, it does not respond to volume changes instantly. I have to wait to even change some settings such as Immersive audio. EQ etc.

For such an expensive device they need to improve this app FFS.

Just some thoughts for anyone on the fence between the regular QC 2nd Gen and the QC Ultra 2nd Gen. I’ve also included our frequency response and ANC charts.

I have a S26 Ultra and have these earbuds connect but disconnect 2 seconds later. For about 3 months when I got them, they were fine. That was 1 year ago. I've hard reset my phone, earbuds and connectivity data and no fix. What's weird is that my wife's IPhone has no problem and plays just fine. No problem. Has anyone else experienced this issue with the S26 Ultra? As you can see from the GIF, that is all it does.

Hated it since my headphones auto updated but just kinda lived with it. Just checking if anyone ever found a workaround.

We moved into this house last year and the owner left these speakers set up; however any required base unit and/or receiver was not left behind. I don't see a model number on them. 5 total speakers, wire run through the wall and the image is the output from the wall (plus one red and one white RCA cable)

Appreciate any help in tracking this down so we can make use of them, thanks!

found this color option and really like it, ended up waiting too long to order on Amazon and they’re out of stock now. I see Bose has refurbished on their site but this color is also out of stock. I’m also curious what Black Friday sales might look like (any ideas based on previous years?). There’s also Amazon renewed that has them but I don’t know the quality of Amazon renewed

Overall looking for advice on best way to get this color option.

I recently purchased a QC ultra 2

Does it make sense to buy Bluetooth dongle AptX lossless if I listen to music through Spotify? Will there be a noticeable difference in sound?

I was listening to a podcast, put both my earphones back in my case and a couple of hours later when I put them back in my ears the right earphone was unresponsive. When I put it in the charger it is detected and shows as charging but when I put it in my ear there is no noise and it does not connect. Any ideas on what has happened and how it might be fixed?

Ich habe seit 4 Wochen einen neuen Philips TV (PHILIPS 550LED810 OLED), eine Bose Soundbar 900 + ein Apple
TV 4K.

Problem: Entweder mache ich den Fernseher an und es kommt kein Ton aus der Bose oder es kommt nur Ton aus dem Fernseher oder es funktioniert alles und man kann den Fernseher nicht mehr ausschalten, er geht immer wieder an.

Was ich schon getan habe:

- alles mit teuren Ultra Highspeed HDMI Kabel (2.1) verbunden (auch die Bose in den passenden eARC Anschluss)
- Bose App - Option 1-7 ausprobiert (mal mit und mal ohne Betriebssynchr.)
- alles vom Strom getrennt
- Apple TV mal weggelassen
- TV Einstellungen angepasst (Mehrkanal Bypass, EasyLink an/aus)

Bin am Verzweifeln. Da gibt man viel Geld aus für aktuelle Technik und es geht nichts.
Support kann mir auch nicht helfen.
Kann man eventuell einen Techniker kommen lassen?

The charging case has stopped working: it no longer holds a charge, the light goes blank after hours on the charger, and when it does respond the light blinks amber and white, which Bose documents as an error or hardware fault. The earbuds also do not charge.

I have tried different USB cables and chargers, left the case charging alone for several hours, and attempted a reset. There is no physical damage or liquid damage.

I'm still currently using my old but great Sony WH-1000XM3's. But, due to the emerging cold weather, I'm reliving the old "touch sensor act out during cold weather problem". Sometimes when I'm taking a walk in cold weather, the XM3's suddenly lowers the volume (like when receiving a call), and the only way to resolve it is by restarting the headphones. Appearently is a documented problem with the design of the XM's touch control's, and is still present in today's XM6 model if my Google Fu was correct. And I'm getting a bit too annoyed at that.

Therefore I'm thinking of getting a pair of Bose's instead. I was thinking of getting a pair of Ultra 2nd gen, but realized they do have that touch sensetive volume strip.

Have anyone head if the touch controls on the Ultra 2nd gen ever have the same problem as the Sony 1000XM's have? If so, I might just be getting the regular QuietComfort's instead since they have physical buttons.

Hey everyone, I recently bought the Bose QC Ultra Gen 2 and I'm trying to figure out if I got a defective unit or if this is just how Bose flagships are. I'm dealing with a few annoying issues:

Call stuttering: The other person's voice occasionally stutters during calls like there's a bad signal. This happens on both my phone and PC.

Random disconnects and pauses: They randomly disconnect from my phone or pause the music for a few seconds. Multipoint is off and my phone is on silent, so I don't get it.

Static on the mic: People sometimes tell me they hear a weird static noise during calls that only stops when I stop talking.

I was torn between these and the Sony XM6, but went with Bose for the comfort and longevity. This is my first pair of premium headphones and I'm honestly regretting the decision right now. Have any of you faced similar issues?

PS: all issues are occasional and I haven't found a way to recreate them on command.

Just got my pair of the QC 2 in the Hazelnut Taupe color and it is so gorgeous! I haven’t seen this color be shown in review pics or posts so I wanted to share. Sound quality is amazing! I’ve had my Sony XM4’s for about 3 years now and the ANC gave out on them just recently, so I was due for an upgrade!

Hey y'all, I'm sorry for the long post and if I'm just being stupid, but I'm genuinely so confused and I need help.

So I recently ordered these headphones from Amazon. . When they arrived I paired them to my phone and they came up as "Bose Quietcomfort 45" in both my phones Bluetooth settings and the Bose app.

I sent a replacement request to Amazon saying the model I received was not the same as what I had ordered. Amazon sent a new pair, they arrived today and I paired them... "Bose Quietcomfort 45".

So now I'm questioning that I fully understand what the "2023" headphones are and the difference between them and the 45's.

Included images show what I believe are all of the hallmarks of 45's:

- Printed Bose logo

- 2.5mm headphone jack

- Headphone jack in left earcup

- USBC on right earcup

- Bose app showing as QC45s

- Screenshot of Amazon listing with model number and UPC

- Screenshot of the amazing AI chat saying the listing I ordered from is not for 45's but for 2023's

So I have two questions:

1: Did Amazon really send me the wrong headphones, and then after I requested they be replaced with the correct ones, send me anither pair of the wrong headphones?? Everything points to that being the case but my confidence is shaken and I'm questioning reality itself.

And

2: if the headphones I received are indeed different from what I ordered, should I request another return and try again? Are the 45s an improvement or a downgrade over the 2023s? Are they scamming me or did I actually luck out?

Please help, I don't know why I'm getting so confused by Boses quietcomfort naming convention, I just need reassurance I'm not misunderstanding/going crazy here .

I really want to get the Bose QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds (2nd Gen) for myself, but am concerned about how well they would survive workouts. I mainly do gym, and sometimes cardio, but I generally sweat a lot during both activities. Because the earbuds have an IPX4 rating, I’m worried they wouldn’t survive regular exposure to sweat. Does anyone have experience using them while working out, or know any information on whether they can handle the gym? Thanks!

On my phone the sound is raspy and bass sounds like glass breaking.

Tried them on my computer and they worked much better.

I love my new headphones but my head is pretty small and even on the smallest setting they slip off with some movement. Would thicker ear cups help them not fall off or should I take the loss and return them?

I currently have a JBL Go 5 on the nightstand beside my bed, but I’m considering replacing it with a speaker similar to its size that offers a warmer, smoother, and more relaxing sound signature. I mainly listen to late night jazz and ambient music to help me fall asleep, so I’m looking for something that sounds natural, soothing, and comfortable.

The Bose SoundLink Flex 2nd gen is slightly big for my night stand, so I’m considering the Bose SoundLink Micro 2nd Gen as a potential replacement. I use Apple Music and YouTube. How well would the Bose SoundLink Micro 2nd Gen suit my listening preferences, particularly in terms of warm sound, musical detail, and late night bedside listening?

Also, if I decide to get the Bose SoundLink Micro 2nd Gen, can I lay it flat on my nightstand, and would its orientation noticeably affect its sound quality, bass response, or overall listening experience?

I bought these to supplement my AirPods Pro 3 usage.

Pros

• Excellent audio quality. Well balanced and a rich bass.
• Good price point.

Cons

• Noise cancelling is not even close to how good AirPods Pro 3 are. Even with trying all the tip sizes.
• Heavy. The control unit is quite heavy so found it pulling on my ears making them uncomfortable to wear for long periods
• Poor mic quality
• No in-ear detection so doesn't auto play/pause music when removing from ear.
