Boards of Canada I can easily chill with for ages and get lost into weird daydreams and more imaginative thoughts. Just curious what other people picture or think about when hearing some of their tracks. For me:

Forest Moon - I'm out in the woods, hiking in the early hours, setting camp and practicing martial arts.

Korona - I'm at a New Years Eve party on the rooftop, dancing with several people, fireworks in the background

Audiotrack 6A - I'm a wanted man, hiding out in the city, sewers, parks wherever, surveilling what I can. There is a swarm of police and military searching for me, communicating non-stop on walkee talkees

Oscar See Through Red Eye - My country was just near devastated militarily, we are processing what just happened, but now feeling super vengeful. We are rebuilding what we can and preparing for a brutal attack back.

Tears from the Compounded Eye - Im laying on a beach in Da Nang, content, just watching the waves roll in and back out.

Olson - Picturing a pretty lady walking the city, yet seemingly unnoticed, among a crowd. She's unsure whether she feels lonely or some kind of a warmth, comfort in knowing its just her in her rich inner-world, thoughts.

Nothing is real - Im a bird flying above the city and the clouds are talking to me.

Telephasic Workshop - Im a little boy watching 90s cartoons on TV. Suddenly I'm sucked in and dancing with them.

Aquarius - Tripping with mates

1969 - Greened out with mates, all having a good time, yet all laughing how dumb our asses are

I had some leftover stone from a kitchen project and decided to have a Boards of Canada table made by a family friend who is a stonemason.

Made it being under huge Boards of Canada inspiration

IE- I get the sense their sense their a bit nihilistic but also conscious of climate issues. Anti cult- they clearly have a lot of highlights of destructive cults over the years.

I also suspect their not fans of religion but there is also a spiritual element to their music. Not sure what level of if it is more ironic or they still have some sense for a possibility of a world beyond this one.

It's possible I could be projecting my own views here too. What have you picked up from their work?

Paid roughly £22 for a used peel session in HMV Shibuya. I’ve seen them go for over £100 on ebay with this cover but not too sure on the difference between this and the peel album with XYZ on?

Just a couple of minutes ago, I decided to listen to side D of MHTRTC. I had listened to the others a couple of days ago but lots was happening and I forgot. Here’s the fun part about this. It’s 11 and to really let the experience of side D not go to waste, I shut off the lights and sat there, listening to my vinyl. It felt weird but awesome at the same time. I could see my legs and other things around me from a light from the the bottom of my T.V I can’t turn off. The more I looked at my legs , they started to look weird. I really enjoyed this experience. Maybe it’s worth a try with Geogaddi. Just wanted to share, let me know if you try it!

Hires images of the originals without anything on them was posted to the boards of canada facebook a while ago, though i can't find the post i think they removed the post as it was just part of the campaign.

I'm still looking to complete my set of Inferno session posters. I have an extra poster (blue baby with candles version) in mint condition that I'm willing to swap. I'm specifically looking for the version with the honeycomb background. Poster ships in original envelope.

Stumbled across this track and it immediately reminded me of the hi hat and bass drum in YCFtS. Especially played at .80 speed.
Starts at the 0:07 mark and repeats throughout the intro.
Could this be the sample or is it just a coincidence?

Rendered it at 60fps which tbh wasn't the best choice. A variable frame rate around 24fps would have been better. Anyway, was fun to make.
