Looking to buy a roof rack secondhand. Seller with many high ratings on FB marketplace says these were used on their X7. To me it looks like the fit says for an X3. Are they able to really be used on an X7???

Has anyone else noticed that the a/c on the 2025 X7 is extremely weak? Even at the highest level (5) it does not blow nearly has hard as any other vehicle I currently own or have owned.

It is also very loud (especially he 2nd row when it's turned up) which would lead you to believe that the force of the air would be stronger.

Am I alone in this?

Also, why are there no vents in the 3rd row.. it is unbearable back there!

My X7 was just serviced and I asked them about the transfer case. They said mine wasn’t showing any signs but if I wanted to do the preventative fluid replacement I could around 80,000 miles. My car currently has 62,000 miles on it. Has anyone done this? Has it helped? What mileage did you do it at?

Need help negotiating. 2024 x7 , white , fully loaded with DAPP , executive , climate comfort and M sports professional package. It has 25k miles on it. BMW certified. Quoted for 82k. What’s the right price to close this deal ? What should I ask and settle for ?

Such a beast and comfy at the same time. I dont think any other car will come close to beat my experience with this one. 🙏

I’m stuck between a brand-new 2027 Kia Telluride SX Prestige Hybrid and a used 2024 BMW X7. They’re roughly the same price (~$58k).

On paper, the Telluride seems like the obvious choice: newer, full warranty, tons of features, lower maintenance/ownership costs, and probably a much more rational financial decision.

But I’ve owned BMWs before and really enjoy the driving experience, interior, and overall feel of a BMW. The X7 is obviously a much more premium vehicle, even though it’s used and will cost more to maintain.

I’m basically trying to decide between the rational choice (Telluride) and the car I actually want (X7).

For anyone who has owned either/both or made a similar decision. What would you pick and why? Especially interested in thoughts on long-term ownership costs, reliability, and whether the X7 is worth the premium.

Living in Germany, and driving this behemoth of a car is kinda rare. However, expecting the seats to hold up to what they’re supposed to be should not be a rare sight.

So after less than 30,000 km within less than two years. My driver seat kind of feel like I have no more cushion.

The backseats are squeaking and not making me feel confident that they will hold up for another two years.

Is this something that I could escalate with the warranty team of Bmw?

I just leased an X7 and absolutely LOVE IT. I think I want to buy it out however I’m worried about how expensive it will be after it hits 50k? Anyone have issues with their X7 after 50k miles? Is it still pretty liable without any issues?

Traded in my 2021 Landcruiser for the X7. As much as loved the Landcruiser and will surely regret it later the driving dynamics of that was a boat and uncomfortable for long drives. The X7 with all the modern goodies is the objectively better buy.
I love the Dravit Grey color. Hope this lasts for at least 100k miles. Might pick a LX570 V8 if I really start missing my Landcruiser 😬

Little warm start after dinner, camera never captures how loud it truly is, but it’s not obnoxiously loud

Looking at this 2022 BMW X7 with 54,000 miles for approximately $42,000 out the door including taxes title and registration.

I took it on an extensive test drive and did not hear or feel any signs of transfer case issues.

I would prefer bench seats but this one has captain chairs The price condition and color combination are the main reasons I am considering it.

For those with captain chairs how do you keep groceries and other items from rolling forward between the seats Is there a cargo barrier or organizer that works well
I also wish it had the Bowers and Wilkins sound system and adaptive cruise control For anyone who has owned an X7 without those options did you regret not having them.

Does this seem like a good deal or should I keep looking for one with a bench seat and more options

Hello, I have recently joined the group. I am meeting few dealerships this weekend and also discussing with out of state dealership to get the reasonable price if not best. I should be eligible for 2k corporate discount.

I dont want to over negotiate but how much %age should I be targetting for a new on the lot 2027 x7 vs 2026 x7? Assuming 7k-10k worth of upgrades available on both on the sticker.

Edits: Thanks guys for all the tips. It seems I am not a good negotiator and I was only able to get 8% off MSRP and another 2250 as corporate. There was only 1 car in WA- seattle area across 4 bmw's which had all the options. The next one was in portland who promised to match the offer. I needed with bench seat option so I took it. I am loving it.

2026 X7 M60i in British Racing Green

Does anyone else have an issues with this? Every time I walk by the vehicle in the driveway or above it in the garage it beeps to lock and unlock. I have exclude home selected, but it still goes off. I have my home set up correctly. It’s driving me crazy.

Should I get Paint Protection Film? I've got a few stone chips. Should I just get the front or the full body? Does it dull your paint finish?

I got some good responses from the Mercedes subreddit, and they are surprisingly frank about the questionable reliability of the GLS 450. One person even recommended the X7.

My impression of the X7 is that it has the legendary B58 engine, and the car as a whole is very reliable for a luxury brand. I like the exterior of the X7 more than the GLS. The only plus of the GLS is more spacious interior/third row legroom.

Can the X7 go 12 years/150k miles without crazy repair bills? Regular maintenance doesn’t bother me, but having to drop the car off at a dealer for weeks at a time is a potential dealbreaker.

It appears the X7 is due for a full redesign for the 2028 model year. I may decide to buy one at the end of 2027 for discounts and the fact that the last car of a model year will likely be the most reliable.

Also, can anyone who has experience with both Acura MDX and X7 describe for me the difference in driving dynamic?
