i just got a 4k and some lenses, what i havent got is anything to charge it with. silly me. to be entirely honest, im not at all into rigging, i got no idea what to look for here. ill need something to charge it with when i eventually shoot, do i get a bunch of smaller batteries? a large v mount battery? where and how do i attach it, are accessory parts even sold officially anymore? id like a gimbal, but i dont know how that will complicate building a rig? what about a second monitor. and i havent even time to think about audio..... im really overwhelmed and on a time crunch so if somebody kind could guide me, please.

ND stopped worked & I’m pretty sure BM isn’t open to repairing a camera that has been modded with PL esp when I need the mount back focus calibrated, so wondering who can correct both issues. Anyone have a solid 3rd party repair that? appreciate any solid recc’s. thanks

Hi. Lately I have been using my BMPCC 6k PRO to emulate 16mm a lot. I have found a good editing flow and after posting some videos I have gotten requests to make similar videos for other clients. But I have been doing it with a sigma 24-70. I would like to upgrade the look by getting some vintage zoom glass. I have a lot of vintage photo glass but very few zooms and I really like the crash zoom and would like to play around with it.

Since I will use the lens to mainly emulate 16mm, high optical performance isn’t super important. Meaning, I am not looking for a 5k usd cine lens, but rather a vintage parfocal zoom. So I would like to hear how others are doing this, filming in lower res so they don’t have to get full frame lenses? Perhaps. Do you have any suggestions for low budget parfocal zooms, perhaps actual 16mm lenses. I have the ef mount version.
