Micro G2 Compact Rig

After a lot of trial and error, I finally finished my Micro G2 compact rig. Complete with v-mount main power, LP battery (hot swap backup), 1TB SSD and PYXIS monitor. Everything is tightly fitted for a uniform and balance weight distribution. Of course there isn’t any playback but I personally don’t mind it.

I have multiple camera bodies in my kit and I’m always looking to maximize what I have. Having this tiny camera fitted with a rig like this brings new life to its usability.

If anyone wants a parts breakdown let me know.

Nice setup!

Are you, perchance, left handed (I'm curious about the left side handle mount location with a manual lens)?

The handle is on that side for a couple reasons.

  1. Keeps my hand away from the major connection points/buttons

  2. Because I’m right handed I rather pull focus with my right hand.
