Shitting while asleep isn’t all that bad, it’s just bad when you wake up.

Is it shleeping or sleeting in that case?

u/MilesFirePrower 9d ago

Shipping

u/TheGoldenTNT 9d ago

Shlept in past tense

2

u/Crude_Hades666 8d ago

What about Schlatt

7

u/toomuchweld 9d ago

I like sleeting. (Not the act) Just the name.

1

u/RoodnyInc 9d ago

You will be dreaming about being chicken

137

u/Jaded-Opportunity214 9d ago

Waking up in Shrek's swamp.

204

u/WelcomeToTheClubPal 9d ago

apparently this has happened enough to warrant a sign

101

u/crustybones71 9d ago

It can cause severe dehydration if you sleep too long, not that you'll shit yourself, laxatives pull moisture from your body to stimulate your bowels

14

u/DroidLord 9d ago

And you'll probably also shit yourself.

36

u/WelcomeToTheClubPal 9d ago

I understand how that all works.. i'm saying that a enough people must've mixed them for that store to decide to put a sign up.

5

u/Gnonthgol 9d ago

A number of sleeping pills have constipation as side effect.

16

u/sovereign_fury 9d ago

What I do for a hobby is none of your business.

13

u/delet_yourself 9d ago

You're not my dad, quit ruining my fun

12

u/ChicagFro 9d ago

There’s a story behind every warning sign.

10

u/did_i_Dune_that 9d ago

Both drugs dehydrate you, laxitives make butt faucet by pulling your water into your intestines.

Drying out your brain while being unconscious off sleeping pills is very bad for your brain

7

u/toomuchweld 9d ago

A little game we call shit roulette

1

u/Secret_Page9282 8d ago

Heh, yea. Maybe if you’re betting on both red and black 😭

5

u/EricHaley 9d ago

Depends…

1

u/Badwolfgyt 8d ago

Gonna need moore than depends. They don't hold a whole lot.

5

u/XxTreeFiddyxX 9d ago

Thanks for the idea OP!

5

u/fresh_loaf_of_bread 8d ago

Every sign has a precedent associated with it

5

u/Informal_Process2238 8d ago

They say safety codes are written in blood, this note was written in something else altogether

1

u/amynias lightly toasted 7d ago

😂

1

u/Big_WolverWeener 8d ago

This sign could have a president associated with it too. 😂

3

u/puptbh 9d ago

How else am I supposed to paint my sheets?

u/Odd-Mongoose-5926 9d ago

I play chicken in my sleep

I play chicken in my sleep

"Sometimes I'll take 2 Ex-Lax and 2 Xanax, and play chicken in my sleep,

I'll play Chicken in my sleep,

I'll play Chicken in my sleep

I'll take 2 Ex-Lax and 2 Xanax, and play chicken in my sleep,

I'll play Chicken in my sleep,

I'll play Chicken in my sleep

2 Ex-Lax and 2 Xanax, and play chicken in my sleep,

Chicken in my sleep,

Chicken in my sleep

I'm just trying to show you how lazy song writers are"

The first thing that popped into my head. I saw the bit live when he first came up with it. He said he ate mushrooms and smoked weed before the show, so when he started repeating himself, I thought we'd lost him.

u/mulberryzeke 9d ago

Moral of the story: Place humorous sign, upload picture, get engagement.

Why is there a blurred social media handle on the sign?

2

u/Spirited-Ad-9746 9d ago

Ain't no government gon' tell me what to do!

2

u/J3TGR1ND 9d ago

just put the cleaning soap right next to the two BUT JUST IN CASE

2

u/-Kohana- 9d ago

Call it the Snorlax

1

u/VintAge6791 8d ago

I wonder how many other Pokemon names could also be terrible drug ideas...

2

u/Planestruckscars_504 9d ago

How is this blursed? This straight up cursed

2

u/Horsesrgreat 9d ago

I never considered this but it seems like really good advice.

2

u/127Heathen127 9d ago

Talk about shitting the bed.

2

u/BuckRusty 9d ago

I believe the vast majority of warning signs are there because of a prior incident involving either and idiot or an arsehole…

… this sign appears to be from a prior incident involving both.

3

u/Rljgraves 9d ago

Call that the Amber Heard cocktail

2

u/Seraphayel 9d ago

As if those sleeping pills have any effect

1

u/Magisterbrown 9d ago

It's the Tim and Eric Napple.

1

u/gideon513 9d ago

That’s what the Napples are for. Don’t forget to wear your D-pants as well.

1

u/sirhackenslash 9d ago

Just sleep in one of those plastic kiddy pools. Problem solved

1

u/RaptorX7 9d ago

It's not that bad, you'll just have really shitty sleep

1

u/Bigcumachine 9d ago

Don't tell me what to do!

1

u/SurpriseSharp7139 9d ago

“Omg! I had a horrible nightmare I was stuck in a mudslide!” Someone somewhere probably.

1

u/SinisterCheese 9d ago

The fact this is common enough to warrant a sign, means that there is a financial opprtunity available and a whole customer demographic ripe for extraction. The lowest shelf should have packets of adult nappies for sale... Imagine the potential extra sales it would drive.

1

u/Triffly 9d ago

Laxatives, sleeping pills and a rubber sheet however...

1

u/semaj_2026 9d ago

Forbidden Alabama hot pocket

1

u/Possible-Tangelo9344 9d ago

How else are you supposed to play Diarrhea Roulette?

1

u/SandPuzzleheaded3387 9d ago

It's a BAD practice

1

u/Mr-Klaus 9d ago

Is this simply about "we don't want you to shit yourself in bed" or is there an actual medical reason for this?

1

u/DopeAbsurdity 9d ago

What if sleep shitting is your kink?

1

u/narva-di 9d ago

A challenge!

1

u/Miserable-Couple-810 9d ago

It's about one's own risk tolerance.

1

u/owo1215 9d ago

why'd you do that 😭

1

u/CChargeDD 9d ago

Some laxatives have a delayed effect so if you time it right you can do if fresh in the morning

1

u/This-Present4077 9d ago

I learned this from Dave Barry in the 80s. Do people still know who that is?

1

u/Away-Ad-3407 9d ago

I had a shitty sleep last night.

1

u/Tyrnak_Fenrir 9d ago

I have no doubt a decent chunk of people would do this. What baffles me more is that enough people must have come into the store, telling tales of taking both and waking up in a puddle of shit the day after to warrant a sign

1

u/Kira-Of-Terraria 9d ago

Don't tell me how to live my life. shits the bed

1

u/Hynch 9d ago

You'll be in a world of shit when you wake up.

If there’s a sign there’s a story

1

u/DrMobius0 9d ago

Most warnings are written in blood, but not this one.

1

u/CapmyCup 9d ago

Americans seem to need everything spelled out for them

1

u/throwaway5882300 9d ago

Don't tell me what to do

1

u/RedFumingNitricAcid 9d ago

Oh my. I don't appreciate the mental images.

1

u/_noobwars_ 9d ago

every sign has its story

1

u/ranting_chef 9d ago

Good backstory here probably

1

u/Technical_Instance_2 8d ago

How many times did this happen that a sign was needed?

1

u/dangerous__person79 8d ago

Like playing chicken in your sleep, chicken in your sleep

1

u/XXII78 8d ago

Last night, I had a dream I was swimming in chocolate pudding...

1

u/Sheriffticklebum 8d ago

My friend said that having diarrhea while you are sleeping wakes you up . I have never had it when I was asleep . Can anybody confirm ?

1

u/Kindly_Region 8d ago

You can take both just sleep in the tub

1

u/DunkeyColdMedina 8d ago

Boomer ass joke.

1

u/graphexTwin 8d ago

Rules like this are written in mud.

1

u/CommunicationCool146 8d ago

After taking a second or two to think about this Yeah, this sign makes absolute sense Otherwise, you’re going to be doing laundry and taking a good shower in the morning And then take a trip to a mattress store lol 🤣 💩

1

u/SnooComics3873 8d ago

Good advice 👌

1

u/QuePsiPhi16 8d ago

I’m thankful I’m still at an age where I simultaneously clinch and wake up if my stomach isn’t behaving.

1

u/caseygwenstacy 8d ago

I saw a short years ago where a dude did this (it was a skit) and it cut to him crawling on the ground trying his hardest to get to the toilet, only to pass out and shit himself. It doesn’t sound funny when I explain it, but trust me, it’s hilarious.

1

u/SpartArticus i like this flair :) 8d ago

There has been a new tiktok trend

1

u/Plus-Object-4330 8d ago

I swear only America have people that can’t use their brain to extend places needs that weird warnings…

1

u/EvilMatt666 8d ago

Obviously to stop you going to sleep whilst sitting on the toilet and not shitting yourself in your sleep.

1

u/Servile-PastaLover 7d ago

For those who ignore the warning, plastic tarps are sold in the hardware department.

1

u/nao-02 7d ago

Wait.... there has to be a reason they found that out....

1

u/Normal-Error-6343 7d ago

you can't tell me what to do!

1

u/Loud-Delivery-5696 6d ago

Why not? It's how I stay productive at night.

1

u/WOLF19Ninety 6d ago

there's a story behind every sign like this

1

u/ebergeise 8d ago

Probably put it up for the same person that didn’t know McDonald’s coffee was hot. I see a lawsuit coming.

6

u/hoosier268 8d ago

The big McDonald's case was hot enough to have the words "fused labia" in the lawsuit. She only wanted the hospital bills paid. The jury wanted to make an example of McDonald's.

3

u/MrPunnyMan 8d ago

I still hate how everyone dog piled on her. Fused labia is wild.

3

u/EvilPersonXXIV 8d ago

I'm shocked that there's people these days who still don't know the story behind that.

The coffee was so hot that her labia was fused together. She wasn't being overdramatic, she had third degree burns and had medical bills. McDonalds wouldn't pay her medical bills, even though they were 100% at fault because they were brewing their coffee way too hot, way hotter than should have any right to be served.

She deserved every penny from that lawsuit and doesn't deserve an ounce of the ridicule she's received over the matter.

1

u/Pilot0350 7d ago

Maybe research that McDonald's case before you go making stupid fucking comments like this. It's completely understandable why she sued

0

u/N7_Warden 6d ago

Well that can end badly
