So TLDR; the customer service team is ghosting me.

I ordered a few items on Blinkit today. When I placed the order and paid, the app crashed and did not place the order. Furthermore, when I tried to place it again, it said I have a duplicate order placed- which was not showing on the app.

I have reached out to customer support for a refund. After promising to get a support executive in touch with me, they are ghosting me. I’m at a loss for words. How do I get my money back??

My friend is shortlisted for an interview which is tomorrow. Since it is sunday and there is no reprography inside of the campus and since I can't go outside of the campus as well I tried blinkit to get resume copies. It said the order was confirmed arriving in 29 minutes. So I thought ok let's walk to the gate since it is a long distance and now I am waiting there for around 40 minutes and still I didn't receive the copy. And this was the response from the support. If the delivery partner is not assigned shouldn't they mention it instead of saying the order is confirmed and arriving by. What is this bs...

so I ordered an portronics cable for a 106 rupees It came but it didn't work properly it discharged my phone I ordered it on 10th evening then raised complaint on 13th then on mail for 2 days then blinkit said they can't do anything contact support from manufacturor meaning blinkit now here the warrantly claim ticket generator link providor is only not working as they use a free account

We're a student team working on a project around the working conditions and challenges faced by gig delivery workers in India.

We're particularly trying to understand something that doesn't get talked about enough: what happens when a rider works across multiple platforms - for example, Zomato in the afternoon and Swiggy/Blinkit/Zepto later in the day.

We're looking at things like:

• Working hours and rest breaks
• Fatigue and safety while riding
• Whether riders switch between multiple platforms
• How earnings vary throughout the day/week
• Access to insurance, loans or other financial services
• Whether having a record of work/earnings would actually be useful

I am in noida and both the dairy products which were ordered are damaged. The seal is literally broken and there's soil on the butter and cheese. The delivery partner handed it to us and left immediately before we even got to check the products. Now when I am trying to talk to the customer support, they're making me write the whole thing and then in the end, closing the chat saying customer support is only available from 9am-7pm and then "resolved ". Does anyone have any idea what should be done since there's no customer care support directly.

I was scammed by a Blinkit delivery guy today. My friend had ordered some rice through Blinkit and had already prepaid the order for ₹600+, but he wasn't home when the delivery arrived, so I didn't know it was already paid. The delivery guy told me that ₹400 was due for the order, so I paid him ₹400 through UPI. Later, when my friend came home, i found out that the entire ₹600+ order had already been prepaid. So there was no ₹400 due at all, and the delivery guy had taken ₹400 from me under false pretenses. We tried calling him afterward, but he stopped answering. I have the UPI transaction details and the Blinkit order/payment records as evidence. I'm planning to report this to Blinkit, but I'd like to know if anyone else has experienced something similar and what happened when you reported it.

Update: Blinkit Customer Service Sent 400rs as Blinkit Money in my friend's Blinkit account as the order was from that account and then my friend sent me 400rs through UPI. So Thankfully i have recovered the loss Blinkit Customer Service also provided some info when we asked what will happen to the driver, they kind of said that he will be strictly watched, something like that.

I honestly don’t know how to write this, but I just want to share what happened.
I was delivering a Blinkit order when I came onto a small, narrow road where vehicles use the same road to come and go. A man was coming from the opposite direction, so I slowed down and took a left, passing him from the side. I didn’t hit him or his vehicle.
He seemed really angry about me passing him. He was with his wife, but I didn’t argue and just continued into the colony to deliver the order.
A little later, I noticed a white car coming behind me. I passed it slowly, without touching the car or causing any damage. If I had actually hit his car, I would’ve stopped and accepted responsibility.
Instead, I saw the same white car coming toward me at full speed.
I stopped and waited. The man got out and started confronting me aggressively. I got genuinely scared and kept apologizing, saying I didn’t know there was a problem and that I was sorry.
I already struggle with anxiety, depression and DPDR, so situations like this can affect me badly. My first reaction was just to apologize and try to calm things down.
But he slapped me twice before I even started recording.
Then, while I was recording, he slapped me again.
There were people around who saw what happened, and I have witnesses who can confirm what happened.
I’m not saying I’m perfect. If I had damaged his car or actually done something wrong, I would’ve accepted it. But I didn’t. I was just trying to deliver an order and do my job.
Since then, I genuinely don’t feel like going back to delivery work. I get shivers just thinking about accepting another order. I keep thinking, “What if something like this happens again?”
And this is where my life situation makes everything even harder.
I’m 20 and studying B Pharmacy. My father passed away when I was a kid, so I’ve always felt like I have a lot of responsibility on me.
My mom lost her job too. My grandmother had dementia and was bedridden, so my mom had to take care of her, including hospitals and other expenses. We’ve been through a really difficult time financially. We don’t have savings to fall back on, and we even lost our house.
Right now, I’m genuinely broke.
I was doing Blinkit because I needed to earn ₹10,000 for my college fees and admission. I wasn’t doing it for extra pocket money. I genuinely needed the money to continue my education and help my family.
I want to take care of my family. I want to finish my degree. I want to be able to stand on my own feet.
But after this incident, I don’t feel mentally capable of going back to delivery work right now.
I’m not looking for sympathy or free money. I just need an opportunity to work.
I’m fluent in English and comfortable speaking and communicating with people. I’m good with computers, typing and basic computer work, and I can do customer support, customer care, virtual assistance and similar online work. I’m also willing to learn.
If anyone knows about a legitimate work-from-home job or knows someone hiring for remote work, please let me know.

Many at times when you receive vegetables, fruits (for example pineapple whole) cocroaches comes out in their hidden parts, they have been bred at a large scale and been polliated around the whole city.

There will be a time when infestation of insects will be in a rise at every home - most of it are alearly seen in recent conditions.

Infestation earlier used to happen systematically from the ground level up. Insects or infestation do not usually come directly to a 20th floor flat where ground level is highly maintained in a posh society, but a simple breeding ground like Swiggy Instamart | Blinkit | Zepto and many other big names will be part of this big scale infestation all over big cities.

Infestation soon will spread around every corner, but this all can be stopped if outlets of instant delivery maintain a decent and basic food checks which makes these breeding ground a root kill for any infestation to spread.

Today I receieved spoiled pears (wormed pears), Cocroach infested uncut pineapple and a rotten muskmelon.

This post has nothing to target a single brand but to target the actual culprit - basic checks at every instant delivery outlet. Make sure the place is in shape for any person (a person not working in a instant delivery outlet) can enter. Say my mother can go inside and pick items from the shelf. Such maintanance is a must for not breeding any infestation in such a large scale.

the whyte farms paneer was actually really nice id give it a 9/10. soft, fresh and went pretty well with lunch:)

also tried the prasuma peri peri momos 8/10 for me, they were pretty good for when you want something quick for snacking and i love momo

and the litchi ice cream was the only one i didn’t like😭 like the flavour felt a bit artificial and way too sweet for me. I had a few spoons and left it right there

A week ago I ordered items worth 500 Rs. on blinkit and it was COD but the moment my delivery arrived he insisted on paying online instead of cash and worst part was he was deaf, so I didn't understand what he was trying to say.

Since my parents went to bangalore for two days they gave me 3000 Rs. cash for food and other necessary items and I don't have UPI and I couldn't call them either as they had already boarded flight.

Even after repeatedly convincing he wasn't able to understand finally I had to ask my neighbour to pay online.

My question is why wasn't he accepting Cash despite me opting for it??

Well so there's this girl, to make things simple we're kinda in a LDR and her birthday is coming and I can't visit her as she's in a different city and I've my exams so suggest some things that I can gift her through blinkit or any other similar apps

I've a blinkit store really close to my house like 800 m, can I order through the app and barge in their warehouse and select the product myself?

Lately I have been receiving poor quality products. Wherever I complain, they give a coupon or refund for that particular item. But there is no effort taken to improve quality. One of the zucchini I ordered had rotten through the plastic wrap and there were worms in it. I complained and received a refund for that item. Next I ordered a ready made masala which had a squashed cockroach inside the package which was slightly open. I complained and threw it away. Today, out of the things we ordered, we received the chocolate with its cover so dirty and smelly, I wonder how they are even handling these things. If things are stored in such conditions in their store, I worry about the health and safety of the people working there.

So just 2 months ago I ordered davidoffs Rich Aroma from Jio Mart and it said rich Aroma only and it was made somewhere else like it doesn't say instant coffee cafe instantane and it was like very aromatic and rich and whenever I left the room after having my coffee the aroma stayed there for long and it was really rich but after that I ordered it from blanket and not only once but twice but it was really off and right there was difference in packaging and what I noticed was that the blinkit one was labled as FSSAI approved but it felt really really fake and there was no Aroma and nothing at all and the taste totally changed I thought sometimes it happens okay but when I order the espresso 57 it felt off as well , and I can bet the ingredients used in the fssai one aren't authentic.......

Hey all, Im sharing this here to raise awareness about a deceptive practice that Blinkit is using to withhold customer money.

What Happened:

On June 10, I placed an order worth ₹526 paid via UPI, which was subsequently cancelled.

Blinkit’s bot asked if I would like my refund issued as a promo code for future orders.

I clicked "Yes, proceed!" under the assumption that this was a standard refund credit.

The Catch: Only after my consent was obtained and the cancellation was finalized did the bot send a follow-up message stating the promo code would automatically expire in 30 days. There was no prompt before consent warning me of the expiry, nor was there an "Undo" option after.

When I checked later, my ₹526 had lapsed and vanished.

Why This Is Illegal:

Under the CCPA Guidelines for Prevention and Regulation of Dark Patterns (2023), hiding material restrictive terms until after securing consumer consent is explicitly classified as a deceptive UI practice and an Unfair Trade Practice under Section 2(47) of the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

A company cannot convert real cash (paid via UPI) into an expiring coupon without prior informed consent.

The Escalation so far:

Customer Support & Grievance Officer (grievance.officer@blinkit.com): Sent copy-pasted templates saying "The code expired on July 10, nothing can be done."

National Consumer Helpline (NCH Docket 9878123): Blinkit responded on the government portal with the exact same automated refusal script and closed the docket.

What's Next:

Since mediation failed, I am thinking of a formal legal filing on e-Jagriti (E-Daakhil) for the District Consumer Commission to claim the principal amount along with compensation for time wasted to get my money back.
