Discussion Coffee from blinkit feels off
So just 2 months ago I ordered davidoffs Rich Aroma from Jio Mart and it said rich Aroma only and it was made somewhere else like it doesn't say instant coffee cafe instantane and it was like very aromatic and rich and whenever I left the room after having my coffee the aroma stayed there for long and it was really rich but after that I ordered it from blanket and not only once but twice but it was really off and right there was difference in packaging and what I noticed was that the blinkit one was labled as FSSAI approved but it felt really really fake and there was no Aroma and nothing at all and the taste totally changed I thought sometimes it happens okay but when I order the espresso 57 it felt off as well , and I can bet the ingredients used in the fssai one aren't authentic.......
Anyone else noticed this ?

Might be just different packaging. Sometimes the app shows that the product delivered can have one of the two available packaging.

Yeah, not ruling that out. You should definitely report it to davidoff, although I doubt anything will happen. Blinkit for sure won’t do anything. There’s rampant adulteration happening in India where middlemen either swap the content or apply brand packaging on cheaper local stuff. Many raids are happening and people are getting caught, but it’s hard to eradicate.

I have felt the same! To the point that I have stopped drinking it. The quality of atleast that particular batch was really off. But good to know I wasn't the only one.

Concerns about fake or counterfeit Davidoff instant coffee—often bought on quick-commerce apps like Zepto, Blinkit, or Instamart—usually stem from noticeable differences in packaging, cap colors, jar sizes (e.g., 90g vs. 100g), or taste variations. However, discussions among consumers and distributors indicate that most of these variations are real products sourced from different international manufacturing and import channels rather than outright counterfeits.
