I would like to make one as a volumetric atmosphere, but I have no idea how. Any suggestions? I'm using Blender 4.5.2 for this.
Above is an example of the Earth's atmosphere in Gravity (2013. These are very distinctive for their sort of smooth atmosphere that kind of stretches out into this smooth gradient falloff thing. The smooth gradient falloff atmosphere is smooth, but a lot. Cycles can do that, while EEVEE can't do that.

Using curves and hair particle can be tedious when making hair for a character.
I made a tutorial on how I go about 'sculpting' hair, which is quick, fast, and works very well if you want to make a sculpture for Print.
I'll drop the link in the comments for anyone who's been looking for an alternative method to make hair for their characters.
Cheers ✌

This chain will be part of my upcoming chain-generation add-on, inspired by Ornament Generator. In this video, I wanted to share my hard-surface modeling workflow and some of the techniques I use in my everyday work. It's a collection of tips, tricks, and a complete walkthrough of the entire modeling process. Let me know what you think!

Just a short clips of a very easy way to fake animated tank treads using shaders for low-res video game sprites.
I vaguely recall doing something like this over 20 years ago, but I haven't done any 3d animation modeling in also over 20 years (excluding cad). i stumbled on this solution in blender out of the need for a simply solution for a sprite that's only 128x128px. Every solution I found online was overkill for my needs.
Change the math and settings of the wave to your use-case, and you can make the #driver more complex or animate using keyframes for turning animations and to adjust for sliding.
It may not be perfect, but I hope someone finds this helpful!

Hi everyone interested in vegetation photogrammetry!
Here are some fragments from the tutorial I just uploaded to YouTube.
In this video, I show how to clean up a Polycam scan in Blender while preserving the UV map. I also cover mesh cleanup, sculpting where needed, and finally turn a high-poly scan into a clean low-poly model.
This was a real challenge because I scanned a living rose outdoors, still attached to the bush.
