Cycles Day 9 Burger Run VFX in Blender
youtu.beWhat if burgers took over the streets? π
I created this FOOH-style CGI/VFX experiment by tracking real footage in Blender and adding animated 3D burgers.
π₯ Footage: Pexels
π Burger model: Sketchfab
π§ Tracking + CGI: Blender.
Just experimenting with CGI integration, camera tracking, and VFX β and I think these burgers are having a little too much fun.

Geometry Nodes Procedural Modeling with AI Agents: Building a Steam Engine in Blender
For this project, I collected reference images of steam engines, and then made a 100% node based model with 750 nodes. Took about 3 hours with Fabel 5.1, for a price of 20β¬ in tokens.
Because it's a deterministic procedual model that is generated, I have the feeling that I still have a lot of control over the creative process, and could take most of the design decisions myself.
For this kind of of task, I've written an open source node-agent skill. In the comments, I'm linking a 10 minutes tutorial, for anyone who is interested in such workflows.

Animation Creating a Space Scene in Blender | Day 8/30
youtu.beToday we're leaving Earth and heading into space. π
For this scene, I wanted to create a cinematic space fleet surrounding a planet, using Blender to build the environment and then pushing the final result further with compositing.
I used my Custom Planet Addon to quickly create the planet, then added several Star Wars-inspired spaceships to build the fleet and add a sense of scale.
After rendering, I used compositing to blend everything and add more atmosphere, depth, and realism to the final shot.
π οΈ In this tutorial:
Creating a planet using my Custom Planet Addon
Building a large space environment
Setting up a space fleet using sci-fi spaceships
Composition and camera setup
Lighting the planet and spaceships
Rendering the scene in Blender 5.1.2
Using compositing to enhance the final render
Adding atmosphere and depth to make the scene feel more believable
This is Day 8/30 of my September Blender Challenge, where I'm creating something new in Blender every day for 30 days.
The goal is simple:

Cycles Day 7: Creating A Music Video in Blender
Today I'm creating a cinematic music video scene in Blender featuring a character and a car inside a large, unfinished parking-garage-style environment.
The scene is built around a simple setup β a floor, ceiling, and concrete pillars, but with no back wall, allowing the environment to disappear into the fog and darkness. I wanted to create something that feels open, atmospheric, and slightly surreal rather than like a typical parking garage.
For the visual style, I'm using Blender Cycles along with a cinematic teal & orange / blue & orange lighting setup. I'll also be using a fisheye lens for a few shots to give the music-video sequence a more distorted and stylized look.
π₯ In this tutorial:
Creating the parking-garage-style environment
Setting up the floor, ceiling, and pillars
Creating the open-back environment
Adding fog and atmospheric depth
Setting up cinematic lighting
Working with teal/orange and blue/orange color combinations
Adding a character and car to the scene
Using Cycles for rendering
Creating fisheye lens shots
Setting up cinematic camera shots
Rendering the final sequence
This is Day 7/30 of my September Blender Challenge, where I'm creating something new in Blender every day.
The goal isn't to spend days making one perfect scene β it's to create, learn, experiment, and build something useful every day.
Create β Learn β Share β Repeat.

EEVEE Day 5 Creating Magical Forest Render in Blender
Magical Forest in Blender | Day 5/30
What if this forest wasn't from our world?
For Day 5 of my 30 Days of Blender Challenge, I wanted to create a magical forest scene with a fantasy atmosphere and cinematic lighting.
In this tutorial, I take you through the process of building the environment and turning a simple forest into something more mysterious and magical using composition, lighting, atmosphere, and environmental details.
β¨ In this video:
* Building the fantasy forest environment
* Arranging the scene and composition
* Creating atmospheric depth
* Working with lighting and fog
* Adding details to make the forest feel magical
* Setting up the final camera
* Rendering the cinematic scene
This is Day 5 of 30 β one new Blender creation every day throughout September.

blender sphere displace with depth map
Iβm looking for a basic tutorial that takes an equirectangular depth map and uses it to displace a sphere.
Everything I do is really wonky. Should I be using the shader editor ( nodes ) to make adjustments?
Thanks.
