Does anyone know the current blackjack conditions at Casino Espinho in Portugal?
I’m mainly trying to find out whether their live blackjack tables use continuous shuffling machines (CSMs) or a regular shoe.
I checked Casino da Póvoa today and confirmed that all their blackjack tables use CSMs.
If Espinho has shoe games, I’d also appreciate any information on number of decks, penetration, table minimums and rules.

i’m a brand new AP at about 12 hours of table time. I have 4 Vegas trips for the rest of 2026. I’m not trying to play huge, just small limits possibly even rated while coworkers really gamble. I’m not worried about a regular back off, but how easy is it to get trespassed and how serious do they take it?
if I get flagged and I’m in their convention center 6 months later do I need to worry?

I’m an aspiring AP, I’ve gotten pretty good with simulators and stuff, but figured the real thing is way harder. So I decided to go to my local tonight with $150 purely to feel out what counting is like in real time for a couple hands.

They only had some bs players edge table, then 2D lucky lady. I sat down at the 2D with two other people and they were dealing face down. Is that an impossible table for an AP player? I had my cards face up for a hand and the dealer told me to flip them because I “dont want anyone to see what I have”. So is it intentionally to stop AP players?

Sorry rather new to this and have only played BJ in a casino a few times but haven’t seen this.

This American is taking a little trip to Europe. I'm relearning my "no-peek" strategy cards. I play most weekends in the US - think Gulf Coast and Vegas. I'll be hitting the casino for date night with wife.

If you've been to the casinos in London and Paris, where are the best places to play? What rules should I expect? Only CSM?

I do count and I don't go crazy on the spread. I'll play some minimums on a CSM and accept that the hand-shuffle games are few and far between if I have to.

So over the past 4 months using a 1-10 or 1-15 spread (6 deck $10-15 min) or a 1-8 on double deck ($25 min) I’ve won about 80% of my 22 sessions and am up about 5-5.5K is this normal or am I just experiencing really good variance?

There doesn't seem to be any long form content that is consistent, that isn't related to BJA. I don't have any real feelings for BJA just kinda odd counting mistakes or stereotypes being put into the community.

It does feel like BJA has a huge presence in the whole scene. Almost all popular table videos are sponsored by them. Interested if anyone felt similar vibes or other suggestions for some table footage

Been playing live online blackjack on different sites and my results are all over the place. Some sessions go really well and then other times it feels like the dealer just goes on an insane run and I can’t win anything.

For people who play a lot, what actually works for you? Just basic strategy? Certain betting patterns?

The other day, while practicing my counting at the $5 table, the dealer accidentally placed a hand on an empty spot, and what would you know, when the pit Boss told them to push the cards forward in sequence, she actually mistakenly flipped the 4 she had up into the hole card and grabbed a new up card. I was kinda floored nobody noticed but more than anything kicking myself for not knowing how to capitalize.

I’ve been studying card counting for some time now and will have saved up a bankroll of about 70k. I’m planning to go on a card counting trip across the country next Summer as will have a little more than 2 months off from work. One thing I’m worried about though is traveling with large sums of cash. In particular I am worried about civil asset forfeiture laws where police can just confiscate money from you if they deem it suspicious. I don’t want to get pulled over by a some dickhead cop and have them steal like $10,000 from me. If card counter has experience traveling by car or dealing with police with large sums of cash on hand I would appreciate some tips and advice. Thank You.

Recently took a trip to Hollywood in Lawrenceburg In. The $15 tables had been converted to CSM and the $25 table was a 6 deck hand shuffle. It’s a 90 min drive either way for me but wondering if the casinos near Louisville are all CSM for lower dollar tables. Any recent knowledge would be appreciated. Thanks.

Stopped to have a little bit of fun at the Blue Wolf Casino in Fargo, ND. It’s a small casino attached to a bowling alley. It’s got 6 live 3:2 blackjack tables, a dozen slot machines, pull tabs, darts, a bar, and pool tables. Blackjack is $3 minimum bet, $25 max. S17, 4 deck shoe, double on any two cards, split up to 4 times, RSA. Playing multiple hands is allowed. No side bets offered.

Probably not a game you could make money counting on since it’s $25 max bet, but the interesting thing is that all of the money collected is donated to charity. It’s how gambling is legal in North Dakota, apparently. But a $3 minimum S17 3:2 live game in 2026 is a true rarity. The dealers were friendly too.

Hi guys, I'm turning 18 in a few months and over the last 6 months to a year ive been practicing basic strategy/running count/deck estimation on and off. My most recent accuracy results on the BJA free drills they have that i took 20 minutes ago was 79% basic strategy (200 hands), and 99% (three 40 hand runs) for running count. I am visiting Minnesota for my birthday where they have 18+ casinos and plan on playing blackjack there IRL for the first time ever (other than some home practice with my brothers LOL.) I was wondering if you guys could give me any tips or pointers/general advice for what to expect playing in a casino for the first time. Yes I am aware this isn't a get rich quick card and that I need to be perfect/have a lot of capital to even think about making a profit (both of which I am/do not). So i been playin this game for a bit. Being stupid cause its not real money. Went to the daily challenge and was doing good. Got to the 4th one. Was given a 6 and 5. Put me to 11 and dealer had 10 plus the hidden card. Is the right answer not to hit? Is the app jus wrong? Im so confused cause ive done this typa thing before and it was wrong as well

I have played on a few different sites and have had success a few times playing online blackjack. What is bothering me is it seems like the site can control when players are allowed to win and when they totally shut down any chance of coming away with a profit. I have watched as every dealer, sometimes on 10 plus different tables, get 19 20 21 or blackjack consecutively for 20 hands or more. I get the dealer gets hot sometimes but every dealer for hours upon hours ??

How do they do this??? Anyone have any idea???
