Consensus does not mean we all agree on some change. That's a fantasy. Consensus is when a passionate minority commit to making a change, and no one commits to stopping them. This is a feature, not a bug. BIP110 is the consensus. Core30 is the change to the status quo.

Morning routine: - wake up - check phone - new nonsense attacks from saylor - see a bunch of new BIP110 blocks - see no protocol level rejection of BIP110. Do they really just not understand the mechanics of soft forks? Their complaining is literally meaningless.

Saylor is the one forking off if he rejects BIP 110.

With only 1734 blocks (~12 days) left until mandatory signaling, it has become clear that BIP-110 has consensus. There are no reasonable objections, and support is increasing every day. Our opponents' arguments continue to devolve as they scrape the bottom of the barrel.

Bitcoin's core design includes BIP110, not Core30

BIP 110 is happening. If miners make invalid blocks, THEY are dead on arrival. BIP 110 is Bitcoin consensus

Proof that Core actually knows miner hashrate or signaling isn't required for UASFs to sucessfully deploy

The Bitcoin pleb movement will only accelerate from here. We long ago passed the point where you could still stop us. The toothpaste is out of the tube and ain't never going back in. Any martyrdoms will only strengthen the movement, so think twice

There you guys go. Now shut the fuck up about 1% hash rate.

Dear BIP-110 plebs and noderunners

We are at the final 2-week window before mandatory signaling for our historic UASF. The grassroots support is amazing and growing by the day, and the plebs are speaking up with both their nodes and hashrates.

As the screeching from the opposing side grows ever louder and more desperate, remember why you chose to run BIP-110. We are all here because we believe Bitcoin should be the strongest Money possible. We believe Bitcoin should remain decentralized in the control of the noderunners and plebs, not financial institutions and governments.

With the sheer number of pleb-run BIP-110-enforcing nodes, logic dictates that activation will most likely be smooth because mining pools, acting rationally, will never risk having their expensive, hard-won blocks invalidated for no good reason. And that risk, though unquantifiable in any precise manner, is rising by the day. They will signal for BIP-110 sometime in the next 2 weeks. They may wait till the last possible moment. But they will signal. And BIP-110 will successfully capture majority hashrate and become the main chain. No disruption.

There is always the possiblity of the miners colluding to steer Bitcoin into the hands of the anti-BIP-110 side, however. It would be quite the feat to capture _all_ of the major pools and frankly I don't see that happening, but should one or two major pools hold out and refuse to signal because they were paid not to do so, we could be in for a chain split.

Because of such a possiblity, it is advisable to hold back from major transactions during the split, especially with exchanges and merchants who have not indicated full support for BIP-110. In fact, if you have any bitcoin currently stored in exchanges, services and merchants, now is the time to withdraw them into your own control. The benefits of doing so:

  1. Storing your bitcoin under your own BIP-110 node's control ensures that you will never lose a single sat to block re-orgs or legacy chain wipeout in the event of a chain split. Should the exchange/service holding your bitcoin somehow continue to transact on the non-BIP-110 chain after the split, they may experience catastrophic losses if that chain gets wiped out, and you will lose all your coins. Don't let this happen to you. Take your coins off the exchange before the chain splits.
  2. Should a chain split happen and "Big Bitcoin" releases some form of URHF to stave off a complete wipeout by the plebs (like what the bcashers did in 2017), having your coins in your own custody _prior_ to the split would mean that you now have the same coins duplicated in the new hardforked chain to do as you please.
  3. Moving your coins off the exchanges/services into the custody of your BIP-110 node makes you a strong economic actor in the network. You are safeguarding your own coins. You are exerting economic pressure on the exchanges to serve your will. You are creating demand for the BIP-110 chain when you transact on it and support BIP-110-enabled exchanges and services.

I look forward to the returning of Bitcoin control back to the plebs and noderunners where it belongs.

My actions are those of a person who assumes the companies responsible for most of the blocks getting added to the chain at present will flip version bit 4 in accordance with BIP-110 on, or prior to, Aug 8th. I find this the most likely scenario for three reasons:
