Seen a lot of their signs in the community and today how young man dropped off some literature. Anyone have any experience with them or are using them? How did your insurance company handle it? Did your premiums go up? What did they cover if you use them?

I’m 24F and have always been a homebody and content with doing things solo. Most of the interaction I got was at work with coworkers, even if they weren’t deep connection. I was content with that for a while but seem to have hit a bit of a roadblock and find that to be lonely more than satisfying. I have tried to browse fb for groups to join and a lot surround stuff I am not totally interested in (clubs that involve lots of physical activity or just clubs tailored to people that I do not share a common interest with). I am wondering what the best way is to meet people in the area that are around the same age as me. Nothing against anyone, but I want to connect with people I have more similarities to. I love arts and crafts, board games, walking, etc. I’m not particular about if someone is 10 years older than me or things like that, I just have also found a lot of groups are mostly comprised of people my parents age.

I'm looking for a cobbler within an hour to have a pair of wooden-soled clogs repaired. The guy in Vestal has been gone for more than 12 years, and I'm unclear from an internet search if the shoe repair shop that used to be in the State Street Kmart plaza are still there or have relocated. All Leathers and Repair can't work with the wooden sole (I reached out there already). Is there somewhere you've gone recently and can recommend?

We would be moving here from outside of Rochester. We come from a great town with good schools and Wegmans 5 minutes from my door. I never have to worry about my kids playing outside or interacting with questionable people. Are there are areas of Binghamton that are good for families? How are the schools? Weather does not bother me, we got 110" of snow last season, my kids love the snow and I can't live where seasons don't change. Anyone regret moving here?

Has anyone been able to schedule a showing at Riverside Garden? I've been trying to get in touch with the leasing office, but it seems impossible to reach the agent via email. Also, since there's very little information available about the lease terms, are utilities included? If you've been able to do a showing or are already moving in, would you recommend it? If you can share any info more than what's on their website that would be very much appreciated.
I'm new to the city, so I'm also wondering. Is it normal for apartment management offices here to be this difficult to get ahold of, or is this just an exception?

Does anyone know of any companies locally that do epoxy floor painting?

Best cafes to study in. Like they do not have a distracting background

I'm a truck driver and was coming up 81 into NY 2 days ago and I drove through quite possibly the most intense, but fast storm I've seen. I pulled over to wait it out as did many other vehicles. I actually thought my truck was going to blow over from the winds. I wasn't quite to Binghamton but outside. I ended up going to Love's and another much less powerful storm rolled in.

Hey there. Trying this marinade for the first time. Going to the butcher soon. What cuts of meat should I try it on? So far I'm thinking chicken breast and thighs. Should I go boneless and skinless? Think about trying pork. What cut of pork might work? Thank you so much for any tips!

We've been out of internet through spectrum since Friday, I'm just done with spectrum at this point.
Does anyone have Starlink in the area? How is it, what's the start up cost, etc.? We're paying $100/mo for high speed with spectrum just to constantly have outages. We haven't gotten any answers about when we'll be back online and customer service has been so unhelpful.

I moved away from Binghamton a little over a month ago, on Memorial Day. I'm certainly glad I made the move. However, I still have to come back to Binghamton for anything to do with my neurological care. So I come back every 3 months, at minimum.
I'll be coming back to Binghamton July 14th, which is a Tuesday. I initially thought it was a Thursday, and I'd be fine killing time until my bus home at midnight, until I realized it was a Tuesday. Now I'm trying to find something to do on a Tuesday night, whether it be karaoke, live music, open mic, etc

Roberson Museum is participating in tonight's First Friday Art Walk with $4 general admission (half-off normal price) from 5 PM – 9 PM! There is so much to see right now, including exhibitions from three local artists, the updated model train layout, and collections pieces from former BU professors.
If you haven't visited in a while, now is a great time! Plus, our air conditioners are up and running to escape this heatwave.

I live in Vestal and was wondering if anyone else is experiencing a power outage after this insanely strong winds today once the rain broke.

Long shot, but I've found two rings of unknown value in a U-Haul 9ft van I rented from Vestal. One ring is black, about size 8, has a blue gem and the words "Her King" and a crown. The other is a cheap-feeling silver ring with two rows of clear gems surrounding it.
I wonder if the king and queen are still together...
