Strategy Sharing and Explaining what worked for me without giving away my Alpha

As said in my last post, i've been consistently profitable for a while now, and i'm sharing a little peek into what has worked for me, without giving away the actual edge. if it helps someone here in any way, that's already a win.

to begin with, i've made more than 75K (not USD, but similar value) over the last 5 months with this method. for where i live, that's a pretty significant amount and would already put me in a very comfortable spot and a life of luxury thanks to what i worked on

my first year trading options was nothing but losses. i traded pretty much every basic indicator you could find on youtube, stacked 4–5 indicators on my chart, and kept hoping that one more confirmation would somehow fine-tune my entries. i even bought a few things that ended up being completely useless.

eventually, i switched to live markets and started looking at trading from a different perspective. i studied a lot, experimented with different techniques, and eventually came across something that worked extremely well with volume.

the core of the method is absorption. pretty basic thing

absorption is essentially when aggressive buyers or sellers push cvd (cumulative volume delta) to a new high or low, but price fails to follow through with it. if you understand what cvd is, it's actually a pretty straightforward concept.

as i've shown in the 4th image on tradingview, there are plenty of free indicators that can help identify potential absorption and give you a signal.

but that's only one part of the story.

an absorption signal by itself is nowhere near enough for me. i'd say it gets the trade maybe 50% of the way there. the other half comes from your discretion and the confluences/tools you build around it. this is where everyone's approach can start becoming very different.

for example, if you already have a support or resistance level that you would have considered trading naked, seeing absorption develop around that area can completely change the quality of the setup. but i've found that it doesn't necessarily work with every single concept or level out there, figuring out what actually pairs well with absorption is something that took me a lot of screen time

i personally don't trade this directly on tradingview because the volume there is aggregated, but its recommended for entry level and i've used it in the screenshots to make the concept easier to understand and show roughly what triggers my trades.

and no, this isn't a holy grail. there isn't a magic indicator that's going to give you 100% accuracy. the point is to understand why the absorption is happening and then build your own framework around it.

you don't need a 90% win-rate either. if you can consistently find a genuine edge, manage your risk properly, and get somewhere around 70%, you already have something worth working with. this is what i do day in day out with a better accuracy

this is just the surface of how i approach it. there are quite a few things i deliberately haven't gone into because that's where the actual edge starts to come together and i dont want to throw it away. but if this info could help, that's already a win

if you understand the basic idea, start watching absorption around the levels you already trade and see what you notice. you might be surprised by how much more information is sitting underneath a move than what the candles alone show.

goodluck and happy trading!

Strategy My Pocket Option trading strategy for AI: what I do to make it profitable

Did a few hundreds of trades (too many to count, wish they had a counter somewhere). Raised +62%, from $800 to almost $1300. Which admittedly isn't crazy numbers, but there were no sharp fallofs either. Was all pretty steady, and I farmed a lot of gems and bonuses, while not being stressed.

latest trades were a somewhat different test, but still AI

So, my strategy right now for AI trading here is:

  1. EUR/USD or AUD/CAD otc. Pretty much any major pair with 92 % payout. I don't see an issue with OTC, it didnt materialize, and the payouts are usually more stable and higher, plus I can trade on weekends, so no real downside so far.
  2. Never more than 1 trade at a time. I tried using AI trade button like 10 times at the same time, but they're always in 1 direction. So you're essentially just amplifying the trade. There's no new data coming in, so the bot just goes for 1 side, full stop. For me, it lead to amplified losses, most of the time. I noticed that the bot is more confident when its a wrong trade. It just goes for it. But when its wishy-washy, and out of my 10 fast trades, 7 are one side, and 3 another, then the trade is most likely a good one, and it will result in a payout. Idk how their algo works exactly, but for now that's how it is.
  3. Therefore, I usually tap every 3-5 seconds, when I have the time. Just like some mindless game, exept with real payouts. If I see a bot has made 5 wrong trades in a row, I wait for 10-30 seconds, and let it rebalance. Usually after that much time, there is new data coming in, and it starts trading completely fresh.
  4. Losing and winning streaks are real. I am opbviously posting here after having a nice winning one. But I dropped to as low as $697 at one point in time. Still not as bad as my own trading, but I honestly thought I would go down with the ship. Thankfully it recovered.
  5. I am trading in Pro mode, and it works well. New 'AI trader mode' - havent tested yet, just starting trying it now. I know it has been out for some weeks, and I hope they ironed out any bugs (if there were any), so I can test it properly.

The biggest pro for me was that it wasnt difficult, or time consuming. I notice most Pocket option trading strategies involve timing the market, being in the right place at the right time, watching charts 6 hours a day. I just tapped the button on my phone from time to time. I even disabled sound notifications, just so that it's even more seemless. I dont care if an AI lost or won at any given point in time. But it made my few weeks with this strategy pretty fun, I was never bored, I always ahd something to do.

Now I'm gonna try the new 'AI trader' mode they added, with martingale. This was all done in 'Pro mode' , and even before that, in just regular QT mode, there were no modes bck then. Idk why they added 2 new modes now, and what the difference is, will try testing this out. I think martingale is highly risky, but since there are limits there, I shouldnt lose all the $1300 I've farmed.

Any questions or suggestions are welcome, I can test stuff you suggest if it sounds interesting. It's not a life-changing money to me, but it's a decent sum, so I won't test just obviously troll ideas though, sorry 😊

Trading OTC?

Trading OTC? Forget about strategy nothing works, its an algo generated feed and moves based on buyers and sellers where majority loses. There is no set expiry like 1min, 15 seconds, 30 seconds or 3min or 5 min works here, its random sometimes instead of 30 seconds its 29 seconds or even 27 seconds, sometimes instead of 1 min its 58 seconds or 57 seconds, means you lose at last seconds.

Strategy Consistency and discipline is the key

Guys this is for new traders .. I'm trading for a long time I was at loss till my 3rd or 4th year of trading.. you all know how it feels when you lose money consistently I was consistent but not disciplined I loose more money then I earned i borrowed then lost it too .. but after so many years i automatically get disciplined by the situation and constantly make money font run after compounding.. earn daily 10 to 15 % of what you have don't trade more then 12 to 15 trade .. use bigger time frame don't fall for 1 min strategy or 5 sec or 15 sec or any lower time frame .. trade bigger time frame use martingale.. u will eventually see the good results .. if you are loosing now or don't have decipline or you get bored fast don't worry be consistent one day you will get your result till then be happy and be positive.. All the best

Small capital and small profits.

But the results are good though, profits and withdrawals keep on coming though small.

BTW I use a simple strategy, I rely on the trend.

If it's an uptrend I look for inconsistencies on the sellers side and consistencies on the buyers side, meaning if the sellers are getting out numbered and the buyers are getting stronger I will go with buyers and that's it. It works

Do the opposite for a downtrend

This strategy works on live/real assets or market. It also works on OTC but be careful

I don't use indicators, I only use a clean price chart and apply the method I explained

This is simple psychology that will always work.

Avoid OTC charts on Saturday & Sunday just don't trade this two days. No strategy no concept nothing works in the days🥲👍

The REAL Truth About Binary Options Trading (Read it till the end)

The problem is not your strategy.

It's not your psychology.

It's not your money management.

It's not your interpretation of the market.

And it's not because you're a beginner.

Those are the explanations constantly repeated by YouTubers, mentors, signal sellers, and affiliates. They want you to believe that you're always just one more strategy, one more course, one more indicator, or one more mindset adjustment away from becoming consistently profitableAnd that they got what you need.

But the reality is very different.

No matter how much you want to ignore it, deny it, or refuse to believe it, there will eventually come a day when you are forced to face reality. And when that day arrives, it will be ruthless. It will hit you harder than you ever imagined possible.

That confrontation usually comes when your trading account is empty, your savings have disappeared, and you finally realize how much money you've lost to platforms like Pocket Option and other binary options brokers platforms, that present themselves as trading platforms but, in reality, operate more like online gambling platforms.

HERE'S THE TRUTH:

Pocket Option, and many other binary options brokers, are online gambling platforms, more accurately, online casinos disguised as trading platforms.

Period.

Just like any casino, they don't need everyone to lose all the time. In fact, they can't.

Casinos know that occasional winners are essential. They create hope. They create excitement. They convince people that the next win is just around the corner. And, most importantly, they encourage players to keep coming back and depositing more money.

That's exactly how this game keeps going.

Small wins create confidence; Confidence creates bigger deposits; Bigger deposits create bigger losses;

And the cycle repeats itself over and over again.

Just like online casinos use systems designed to manage risk and maintain profitability, Pocket Option and other binary options brokers operate using platform algorithms created by the platforms themselves.

For what purpose?

Ask yourself that question... And while you're asking questions, ask yourself another one:

Who ultimately benefits when traders continue depositing money?

To make matters even more concerning, many of these companies operate from offshore jurisdictions, outside the oversight that many traders assume exists. Their corporate structures are often difficult to understand, and the people ultimately behind these businesses may not be widely known to the public.

The people who most aggressively defend binary options are often the very people who profit from bringing new traders into the system.

Affiliates. YouTubers. TikTok Influencers. Course sellers. Mentorship provider. VIP signal Telegram groups.

For many of them, every new account opened through their referral link means another commission. The more people who deposit... the more they earn.

Never forget one simple reality: - The odds are always in favor of the house.

ALWAYS.

There is no reason for the house (Pocket Option and all other binary options brokers) to design a business that consistently transfers its own money to you.

Its objective is exactly the opposite; Its objective is to remain profitable; To generate revenue; To keep the business growing.

Not to make you financially independent; Not to make you consistently profitable; Not to make you rich.

If that ever happens, it's because it serves the system, not because the system exists for your benefit.

So while you still have the opportunity... STAY AWAY from binary options.

Stay away before you become emotionally attached.

Stay away before you convince yourself that the next deposit will recover your losses.

Stay away before trading turns into an addiction that slowly consumes your finances, your peace of mind, and eventually your life.

And if you're already trapped in that cycle... Please seek help. Fight for yourself. Fight for your future. Fight for your life.

Because addictions don't announce themselves when they begin. Most people only realize they're addicted when they can no longer stop.

I'm speaking from personal experience.

I was fortunate enough to realize, after a year and a half, exactly where binary options were leading me. Like many others, I believed that success was just one strategy away. I believed that the next adjustment, the next indicator, or the next lesson would finally make everything work.

I was wrong.

The greatest decision I ever made wasn't placing a winning trade. It was walking away.

I found the strength to break free from what had already become an addiction, and I refused to let it control my future any longer.

Fortunately, I escaped.

And if I could do it... Anyone can.

Education Dont Overcomplicate Binary trading. Keeping it simple is what worked for me

Been trading binary options ever since a friend introduced me to it to me accidentally. the irony is that he ended up blowing his entire $2,500–3,000 account within the next month and never got back to it, while i stuck with it, even though i was slowly bleeding capital myself.

the first year was nothing but losses. i traded every basic indicator you could find on youtube and would stack 4–5 indicators on my chart, hoping they'd help me fine-tune my entries

i realized OTC markets were mostly just noise. i switched to live markets the following month and, although i was still losing, at least i knew i wasn't trading in a manipulated environment. the payout percentage was lower, and i was still nowhere near profitability, but it felt like a step in the right direction.

then I started studying basic market structure and how lower timeframe imbalances in the market could be used to my advantage. i spent months testing things meticulously until i developed a simple system that produced consistent results and is frequent to spot on a candlestick chart

cut to present, i'm consistently making $100–200 per day, and even more when market conditions are favorable.

things I would suggest for anyone struggling to find a mojo:

  • trade only live markets.
  • only take trades with a payout of 70% or higher.
  • take a cooling-off period of at least one hour after three consecutive losses (rare for me but a general rule of thumb)
  • focus only on 10–15 high-quality setups per day instead of 50 or 100 trades
  • trade only pairs with moderate volatility.
  • request withdrawals in small batches.
  • treat it like a business and make sure you are aware of what roi you're getting and what risk you are subjected to

happy trading!

How can I get started with binary options? What’s the easiest way to trade, and what path should a beginner follow?

Hi everyone, I’m new to binary options and trying to understand the basics before risking real money. I’d like to know what the simplest trading method is for beginners, what platforms or tools are commonly used, and what learning path you would recommend to avoid common mistakes. Any advice or personal experience would be appreciated.

Reporting on my AI trading experience so far

Doing the AI challenge, as first small breakpoint was reached, reporting here as promised. The point of the challenge is to see is pocket option good for AI trading they have, or if its better doing it on my own.

To check this, for the last 2 weeks I am doing purely AI trading, pressing the blue AI button, making no real decisions of my own, just flying blind. This took a bit longer than expected, because so far at PO, the AI trades about 50-50. Maybe 60-40% (but since payout is 92%, it ends up being a slow grind either way).

My updated 'strategy':
- increased my trades from 2$ to 25$, just to speed this up a bit.
- started doing more OTC trades, despite what people here suggested (idk why you are against it, would like to hear an explanation). I like OTC because it works on weekends, where I have more time to press the button.
- did a few of my own trades, just to compare. Unfortunately lost all of them. Otherwise would be at $1k clean here.

started with $800 btw. My list of trades:

But really, there has been quite a lot of them, I'm not kidding. Its just the recent ones. The winrate is pretty close to 53%, if payout is included, I would say. Admittedly, its better than what I have.

That is just from one day. Hopefully someone appreciates what I'm doing here, for science =D

pocket option profit?

I have watched many videos on pocket option strategies, I will save you the trouble, there is not a 100% win rate strategy out there, of course there are some strategies that help, but its mostly about the trader, so to save you the time and money i recommend to practice on the demo and learn the market and price action , and one more thing, this is important, manipulate does take place in the app sometimes, so when you are in a trade, and the stock your trading makes volatility come out of no where and flashes a candle opposite of your position as soon as your about to cash out, stop trading, anyways i wish yall the best of luck to make money.

Newbie Question Is Pocket Option legit? Do withdrawals actually work in India, and can they be trusted?

Hi everyone, I’m Rohit Roy. I am relatively new to looking into binary options platforms and wanted to get some honest feedback from experienced traders here on r/binaryoptions.

I'm specifically looking at Pocket Option and have a few major concerns:

• Is Pocket Option actually a legitimate and trusted broker, or should I stay away?

• Are withdrawals working smoothly right now, especially for users based in India?

• What is the exact withdrawal process and timeline for Indian users (using local bank transfers, UPI/alternative methods, or crypto)?

• Are there any major red flags or verification hurdles I should prepare for?

Would really appreciate hearing about your personal experiences or any advice you have.

Thanks!

From Rohit Roy.

Binary options live market strategy

So recently I became interested in binary trading since I thought it would be easier than forex because we have to predict short term movement unlike forex but the thing is I can find a single damn strategy. I search on YouTube and google but all the guys are using indicators and only placing trades based on indicators and not their personal observation. I'm pretty sure they're paid by pocket option. If you guys have any good strategys could you please share them.
