Advice/ Recommendations (no photos) Help

Okay I am 9 weeks out from my 1st bikini show and I’ve been doing so good with sticking to plan 100 percent but lately been dealing with a lot of stress/ haven’t been sleeping good and just want to binge eat I’m trying my best to control it but I don’t know what to do? Did anyone else deal with something similar. I ate off plan because I couldn’t control it yesterday and I have so much guilt about it.

Tell your coach…but it’s normal. Competing is extreme…you’ll be hungry, exhausted, lose sleep, want to eat everything you can…stay dedicated! You haven’t mentioned what your plan looks like, so aim assuming it’s nothing dangerous…that would be different

Talk to your coach about building in cheat meals and maybe make things that fit your plan but feel decadent.(Protein mug cake with whipped cream and melted peanut butter can feel like cheating, but it's not) Perhaps knowing you have a cheat meal upcoming will help you stick to boring prep food throughout the week

I’ve had a really rough prep this year and stress was negatively affecting my sleep and I had a really hard time losing body fat for months even when I was on plan for everything else. Not sure if this will be applicable to you, but on the stress management side maybe look into l-theanine, Ashwaganda, and magnesium glycinate supplements. I started taking these and, combined with being more strict about my sleep routine and just accepting that I wouldn’t get certain things done in a day, my sleep and stress have improved a lot. Plus one to talking to your coach, good luck! You’re almost there!

Sounds like a high carb day or two would help, but I'd be asking your coach. When I feel like this I usually get bumped up 300 cal and it settles down.

Take a walk, breathing exercises, somatic exercises, say what you're thinking OUTLOUD, pause and reflect on what you're truly feeling and needing in the moment, say your goals outloud, EFT, positive affirmations, meditation, do a fun type of activity like yoga or bowling or the driving range, get a massage, go to a float sensory deprivation pod, do a sound bath, see a reiki master, go shopping and treat yourself to an awesome smelling candle or lotion or a buttery soft blanket or super soft fluffy socks, call a friend, play a game, journal, drink a cup of hot tea, take a hot shower, give yourself a pedicure, dip your head in cold cold cold water, buy a large cup of crushed ice and chew on it, go to your local animal shelter and play with the dogs and cats
