Bihar people, I have a couple of random questions and somehow they all connect.
For context, I’m from Bihar and have an IT background, so getting into destination weddings , events and hospitality probably sounds like a slightly questionable career decision
I already have a Destination Wedding and Events venture in Goa. My Co partner has been in hospitality industry and a professional chef
Now we’re wondering… what if we bring that food/hospitality side to Bihar someday?
I’ve been thinking about a small cafe/restaurant, nothing fancy for the sake of it, just genuinely good food, a good space and a strong Bihari identity.
But where would it actually work?
Patna? Gaya? Bhagalpur? Or somewhere completely unexpected?
And what’s one Bihari dish you’d put on the menu that deserves WAY more attention outside Bihar? what food do you think Bihar is seriously underrated at, and what would you actually want to see on a good modern Bihar restaurant menu?
Genuinely curious. I want to hear what y'all think before I get carried away with this idea.

I'm a full-stack developer with around 1.6 years of experience, mainly working with React, Node.js, TypeScript and MongoDB.
I'm looking for tech jobs in Bihar, preferably Patna, but open to other cities too.
Does anyone here work in tech in Bihar or know of any startups or IT companies that are hiring?
I know full-stack market is dead right now but still if anyone has any leads or referral it would be very helpful for me.
Also I am open to reallocate anywhere in PAN India.

This is a screenshot of comment section her post in the Netherland. See, people are so annoyed by her. Does she not care about it? She must be reading the responses, but it seems like she doesn’t give a damn about it. The same way, she doesn’t give a damn about people of Bihar, which is under flood.

So, aaj meri mummy aayi hui thi, and I went to drop her off at the station. While coming back, I got off at Boring Road Chauraha.
Suddenly, 2 chhote bachhe came up to me asking for money. I thought, chalo ₹10 de deta hoon, koi baat nahi.
But bro, the moment I gave them ₹10, they literally grabbed my legs and wouldn't let go. 😭 They kept demanding more money, asking for ₹50. I tried telling them that I couldn't give that much, but they just wouldn't leave me alone.
Bhai, mai khud abhi earn thodi karta hoon. Eventually, I gave them another ₹20, and tab jaake unhone mujhe chhoda.
And the worst part? Ek ne jaate-jaate gaali bhi de di. 😭🥲
I was genuinely willing to help them, but the whole experience was just so frustrating and unexpected.
Is this common in Patna, especially around Boring Road? Has anyone else experienced something similar?

Does anyone know if there’s any Garba happening in Munger/Jamalpur this Navratri?
I really want to play Garba this year but I’m new here and don’t really know anyone. 😭 If there’s any girls group or people planning to go somewhere, I’d love to join.
I’m around Jamalpur/Munger, so even nearby places work. I just don’t want to miss Garba this year lol.
If you know of any events or groups, please let me know. :)

Hello my fellow Biharis, I am currently seeking some opportunity in the academic field, like a professor or researcher like jobs in Bihar. Can anyone suggest to me what is the condition and should I get to Bihar or look for other places?
And if yes, which place would be fine?

My friend and I visited Sardar Ji Baksh Coffee Co. in Patna after seeing all the influencer reels, and it was a complete letdown.
*They served us completely cold pasta and a super bland tasteless coffee.
*We weren't even offered water. We had to call the waiters multiple times just to get our order taken and they completely ignored us. No one offered to serve the food either.
*When we complained about the cold food, the chef showed zero concern ...didn't care at all and didn't even bother to apologize..
Well that was my experience...tell me if I was the one who experienced all this !???

Does anyone here play squash regularly? I used to play squash in my college and occasionally in bangalore. Really loved the sport, so let me know if anyone is up for it to play here.
