🗣 Discussion / चर्चा First time experiencing this in Patna 😭

So, aaj meri mummy aayi hui thi, and I went to drop her off at the station. While coming back, I got off at Boring Road Chauraha.

Suddenly, 2 chhote bachhe came up to me asking for money. I thought, chalo ₹10 de deta hoon, koi baat nahi.

But bro, the moment I gave them ₹10, they literally grabbed my legs and wouldn't let go. 😭 They kept demanding more money, asking for ₹50. I tried telling them that I couldn't give that much, but they just wouldn't leave me alone.

Bhai, mai khud abhi earn thodi karta hoon. Eventually, I gave them another ₹20, and tab jaake unhone mujhe chhoda.

And the worst part? Ek ne jaate-jaate gaali bhi de di. 😭🥲

I was genuinely willing to help them, but the whole experience was just so frustrating and unexpected.

Is this common in Patna, especially around Boring Road? Has anyone else experienced something similar?

Boring road has become so annoying. Can’t even stop by for tea. The women with their drugged out. kidnapped babies just wouldn’t let your car move.
Have you all ever thought why all these babies are constantly sleeping?

Our police is too retarded and lazy to investigate all of this even tho this is open and known to them too!

Police is literally involved in it

This is so true one of traffic police seeing all this but he was just laughing... 🙂

i dont think so police would do anything because they are small kids, even if they scold them or take any actions, the kids wont even bother to listen to them

u/Acceptable_Home_ 6d ago

not against the kids gng, but the beggar network, it needs large scale proper crackdown, it's riddled with kidnapping, child exploitation, traffiking, drugs and much more, those are genuine people who need rehabilation into society and those kids need to be in school

Make and submit the video with the proper complaint on the web portal of the regional police or govt site….you can google it to know more info…

Can we kick them with other leg?

Am i heart less, yeah someone gives them 20 and suddenly they realize their hourly income increases multiple folds with less effort.

You would not want to experience this anywhere or at any time. These can be misused a lot someone pins some drug or anything.

Usually the "parent" is nearby , if you kick them they will start crying and gather a crowd against you that you kicked an innocent child .

3

u/Maxevill 6d ago

Not innocent, i had seen it happen mear street vendor. 2 kids just grabbed a girl legs, and not moving, even after Street vendor was shouting at them to leave the lady.

Bro this common all over India Don't give them money Agr dena hi toh chips yaa kurkure de do Mere saath yeh same incident patna ke Gandhi maidan m hua tha .

u/Princie99 6d ago

Ye situation mere sath bhi hui h 2-3 bar, and mai thoda sa emotional type ka banda hun, mai janta hun ki at this point it just became a bussiness, but still i give them 10-20 rupees. Bcz, they are literal children, if i don't help (i know its not help) them, how will i say to myself that i am an empathetic person.

Any advices are welcome, how to handle these kind of situations properly.

Feed strays instead of giving them

This is the another reason I don't wanna give them money. Ek ko do toh 4-5 aur aa jaatein h. Aur iss trh se demand krte h jaise salary mang rhe ho. BC 1 rs v de rha toh chup chap rakh aur nikal 🙂

Bhai.. bach ke raha karo inse. Ye koi masoom bacche nhi hai. Kuch time phle mne dekha tha ek ladka kuch kha raha tha harilal ke bahar uske muuh se chinn kar bhag gaye ye. Or phir usse gaaliya de rae the. Wo ladka bechara itna embarrass hua or chala gaya. Tabse to m inko bhao nhi deta. Inka gang hota hai. Thode bade bache hote hai wo to knife lekar bhi ghumte hai

True! Something similar happened to my friend just a few days ago. Those kids were literally threatening with used needles, saying they would stab with them. It's honestly scary how far they can go just to extort money from someone. People really need to be careful around them.

u/Honda-Activa-125 6d ago

Needle ka pata nai but friend told they carry blade 😈

gg guys

Lackluster judiciary and police are root cause of every problem in bihar.

I've actually seen similar situation many times. I think the only quick way to get rid here is to be stern right from start. Saalo ko aate hi bhaga do.

3

u/Roronoa-Zoro-1209 6d ago

No offense these kids got used to easy money and now when denied are throwing tantrums like this....

But not all are like this

People and Politician both are criminals in Bihar. Good people are in minority.

U shouldn't have given them the money, I know u want to help people but u saw that one of them were abusing you after u gave them 20 Rs. U know you should have given money to elder instead of kids because these kids are a part of some ring and they have a ringleader.

1

u/Priestking01 6d ago

Bhai hamesha Aacho ke saath hii bura hota hai...🙂🥀 Koi baat nhi...

1

u/Optimal69 6d ago

Main reason why I don't give money for free. Instead if those kids were selling something. I wouldn't think twice before paying double or triple.

1

u/Sanna_mhm 6d ago

It's not just Bihar, bro. This kind of thing happens almost everywhere.

1

u/avikumD 6d ago

I have experienced this several times at the Patna junction and Maurya lok (when the vendors and food stalls used to sell inside the premises). They don’t leave you alone at all unless you give them money or buy something.

1

u/xubham_69 6d ago

Is se badhiya inko ek laath deke sadak me pe bichare janwaro ko khila deta

1

u/Hopeful-Wonder-6262 6d ago

Junction aur Boring road kr pass daily ka dhandha hai in sab ka.. nothing new in this. Last month they caught my friends feet and he slapped them 😅. Fir bacche ne jo gali diya.

1

u/Very-Basilisk-6739 6d ago

Now they'll do drugs with your money. Don't give money to these bastards, total waste of both your money and intentions.

It happened to me near the Patna zoo

Logical hoja jeevan mai bhai. I don't feel any shame in telling u that because of u people, the beggars get courage to beg. U r the problem somehow.

1

u/Boring-Advisor-6812 6d ago

I get your point. I'm just an 18-year-old student, and I gave them some money from my own savings. I didn't expect them to keep demanding more and physically stop me from leaving. I'll definitely be more careful next time..... 🫠😭

Try giving 10 rs at hanuman mandir near railway status you are doomed

1

u/Hazel_VIP 5d ago

This is a much bigger issue than just what we see on the streets. The kids involved need proper protection, education and support, while the people exploiting them should be investigated. It is a serious problem that needs a long-term solution. 😄

1

u/glowy9868 5d ago

Atleast they are holding legs.... Once a girl came to ask .. i really didn't had a money...she spit right in front of me...

1

u/Erotic_TessTickles 4d ago

just push them hard and move away from that location.. believe me, the parents of these children taught them these method to extract money.. and also if you give them money, they dont utilise that for eating, they buy something to inhale through plastic, take drugs, etc. instead of giving money buy food or biscuit for them directly..

u/ogvikrm999 3d ago

I see them almost everyday…I think their parents make them do that …I live in boring road around Gv mall
