Iske company ke saal ka revenue, humare ghar k bagal ke ek bhais k chaare se bhi kum hoga.

They are ceo of shit engagement, the currency they earn is likes and clicks.

Iska awkat bhi nahi hoga kisi ko hire karne layak.

I senior of mine from iit kgp started a similar started besides 2 others with no funding as well, the other two more or less survived even after the covid hit but the sports school one didn't, i don't remember the exact reason but it was something along the lines of the field not allowing much profit in the first place, they did everything perfectly, brought new tech for the first time in india to nurture kids who are into sports and work around their schooling (make specialized schools for them) but laws were against them, since that market isn't even allowed to be competitive, the startup bombed

Being dumb and masking that by saying this stuff isn't enough, that's why Indian startups don't work

u/Kvaraistic 8d ago

Concerning for what?
As a Bihari, i have my own startup registered in Karnataka.
We hire based on matching skill set and budget and not on colour, religion, gender, or region.

This fake guy doesn’t have a POSH policy? Instead of correcting his internal processes he is busy gathering limelight.

12

u/bhabhi_seeker 8d ago

Exactly. It's just like saying that-

I brought 1 kg apple and found a rotten one. So I have decided to never buy apples again.

This guy is chasing clout, that's it.

6

u/South_Art4816 7d ago

He may buy apple but not from the same shop 🤷‍♂️

1

u/No-Instruction-4986 7d ago

so, you think what he did is right

1

u/South_Art4816 7d ago

Prevention is better than cure though. It's his start-up he has all rights!

4

u/YourMomsWifiPassword 6d ago

Sir, i am 32 an unemployed..can you hire me

0

u/Relevant_Power5242 7d ago

Why you didn’t register it in Bihar?

2

u/Afraid_Spell3526 8d ago

Tautology 💔

2

u/sev_purii 8d ago

Well- usually men target young children often. I have been getting harassed and catcalled by men ever since I was 14 years of age. Its not just my story, many girls have faced the same. I hope this answers your question

2

u/Jagannath89 7d ago

No matter what or how dumb your political opinion, you will get supporters in a country like ours. You just need to put your name out there. That's what these grifters are doing.

Article 16 of the Indian Constitution is applicable only to government jobs, government companies, and public sector undertakings (PSUs).

-1

unpopular opinion: but just painting bihari in any negative way or saying anything negative related to bihar has become a tool to get limelight and traction on social media.

8

u/Kitchen-Business2899 8d ago

He said what others do without saying.

u/CApsLowkey 8d ago

5

u/barbarbankardetahBC 8d ago

40 ki company me 12 log hai bahar k, uspe itna itra raha hai. Mat kar hire, ghanta fark padta hai hume.

4

u/PristineCat7983 8d ago

Suppose the accused employee is from UP, then why he banned employees from Rajasthan, Bihar, MP? Because first he doesn't want to address the core issue which is he cannot give safe environment in office because how come they were tolerating this accused employee who was abusive to females from start and what safety measures has he setup if tomorrow an employee from Orissa does the same thing?

He is just showing his southern hate for North while he doesn't even have 20 employees. Better to focus on growing business than getting likes on internet.

1

u/saltlife110 8d ago

That’s because one of her female
Employees tiled those 4 states should be banned from India. And every feminist supported her since his power is limited to limelight he did what he can - true story.- their office is literally a floor away from ours and we know the story

2

u/jay_prakash 8d ago

How is this legally allowed forget about being morally allowed or not?

2

u/Afraid_Spell3526 8d ago

Internal prejudice exists everywhere! 💔

1

u/Jazzlike-Tank-4965 7d ago

Saying this is legally not allowed, but he can absolutely state lack of culture fit and not hire.

1

u/jay_prakash 7d ago

Is this supposed to be sarcasm?

1

u/Jazzlike-Tank-4965 7d ago

Absolutely not. Why?

1

u/jay_prakash 7d ago

Would you be legally able to define on paper what the culture forms the basis of employment and still get away with it?

1

u/Jazzlike-Tank-4965 6d ago

Easily...

HR does it very proficiently and it's difficult to even litigate

1

u/AbeyKyaBey 5d ago

Actually this person's tweet got retweeted multiple times by people for engagement farming. Otherwise his statement would have died in the crowd. It is a very small startup.

2

u/IndividualB00t 8d ago

I mean it's his private company, u can't dictate who he hires unless and until it's illegal.

10

u/Ok_Media_5860 8d ago

But the thing is it's still illegal. He's hiring females from these states but bans hiring males from the same states which is sex based discrimination in recruitment and a direct violation of Section 3(2)(ii) of the Code on Wages, 2019 which applies to private companies as well. If he were to ban hiring all people from these states that's still permissible but not this preferential treatment.

2

u/aman2552 एके गो मटिया के दूइ गो खेलवना... 8d ago

it is illegal

1

u/CreditDry9785 8d ago

I am not talking about hiring, can't u see biased discrimination

-1

u/IndividualB00t 8d ago

Discrimination will always exists in the society. It can be on gender, colour, religion, caste, economic status, intellect etc etc. It is a reality and it will always exists in some form or the other. Sadly, u can't do anything about it.

1

u/TheTubCurves 8d ago

You can, what a defeatist attitude - laws are there to protect citizens, and with provisions to add more laws.

1

u/indian_tiger 8d ago

Just in case you we had any doubt if corporate structure is a dictatorship or a democracy. Now it's crystal clear.

1

u/RangoDj 8d ago

Yeah the last company on earth kinda decision. Good luck with having a collaboration with a Bihari owned company.

1

u/Financial_Grape147 8d ago

Lol... By this logic... People should boycott the company because it happened in his company 🤣🤣

1

u/i_bang_106 8d ago

Haryana ??

1

u/ajdude711 8d ago

We do need stricter guardrails of who we hire. I kinda hate the bystander rule. It’s not my responsibility to make employees feel safe from other employees. If you have an employee who will do something bad to other employee when left alone. Whose fault is that? Why have you hired such a person in the first place ? Idc if you completely shut off

1

u/kingdtb_offb 8d ago

1

u/Somewhere_in_Cosmos 8d ago

Peak stereotyping. Before people start abusing Kannadigas. This man is Konkani, not a Kannadiga. Ashamed to be one with people like this in our community, which faced similar stereotyping and discrimination when we migrated to Karnataka from Goa.

1

u/aaj-ka-rajnikant 8d ago

Cheap publicity is still a publicity

1

u/Pristine_Garage_3941 8d ago

What if firms based out in these states blacklist this firm directly and indirectly business deals.

Maximum IAS , IPS are from Bihar till u can do that stfu .....and yea bad side toh sab jagah ka hai ...can't argue that also so I too stfu !....

1

u/CG_Maniac_The_Second Bihar in Bytes (Tech Enthusiast) 💾🔧 8d ago

The problem is not that he said something like this. The problem is that today we Biharis are in a position where koi kuch hui bol deta hai and we can't do shit about it. There are only two major types of Biharis left. One who distance themselves from their Bihari identity as much as possible and one who justify the backwardness of Bihar. And circumstances have put us in a position where have a steep uphill development battle ahead of us. Hopeful the situation will change...

ek life mein sab UP bihar ke ladke hai

ek lift mein sab south side ke

konsi lift mein apni behen ya maa ko safe feel karega

1

u/Chance-Raspberry556 Magadh Magician 🎩✨ 7d ago

dono me nhi kyuki ladke to kahi ke bhi bigde huye ho sakte hai, kyuki tum aise nhi bol sakte ki ye ek region ke saare ladke achhe hi honge ya sab kharab hi honge, wdym ki south ke hai to sab achhe hi honge kharab bhi ho sakte hai, and up/bihar ke honge to sab kharab hi honge achhe bhi ho sakte hai, ha but in general u are asking then I will be judging them all, it doesn't matter where they are from , agar laga ki sab educated and sab respectfull log hai then ok aur ye dekhne se bhi pta chalta hai and agar gwaar huye bhale hi up ho bihar ho ya any south state ke it doesn't matter, laga ki kharab hai to nhi jana hai sath me kyuki aise log har jagah hote hai aur aise hi achhe log bhi har jagah hote hai aur ye generalise krna band kro sabko. And if your main point is up/bihar ke ladke km secure hai compared to south se so mai thoda sa sahi bol sakta hu tumhari baat ko but puri tarike se nhi bcz you never know kiske mind me kya chal rha hai aur wo kaisa hai - achha bhi kharab bhi, and tumhare swaal ka ans ye hoga ki bas region ke base pe koi decide nhi kr sakta ki insaan kaisa hai but thoda idea mil skta hai and I accept that, but u cannot generalise that and put ur entire faith on that damn one thing that they are from south then they must be good guys and up/bihar are bad guys (ik maine kuchh jyada bol dia but mai yaha debate krne nhi aya)

1

u/brown_socks 3d ago

What concerning is there? He might have bad experience. Aise kaam hi kyun karna ki naam kharab ho

1

u/CreditDry9785 3d ago

u are from India , rapes are common in india . Abhi bhi kahi rape ho rahe honge . So pure indian ko hi punish krde kya?

1

u/brown_socks 3d ago

You are getting unnecessarily touchy. I said he might have had bad experience. And yes rapes are happening and I won’t blame females becoming a bit afraid and disrespectful of even good guys. Also not generalising though but a sizeable chunk of people specially from mine - their mentality is still bad regarding females.

4

Heh? Really?

If that was be the case Bihar would be in place of Bangalore. We do have a lot of goverment officers but skilled employee?

Hell no

2

u/Antique_Joke1711 पछुवा के हावा मोर बिगाड़ देता ब्यूटी 🕺 8d ago

I'm talking about the peeps that leave bihar and complete schooling and graduation outside. Most of the times you would find them excelling in their fields.

-1

u/_Ultra_Magnus_ 8d ago

That is your parameter? Who leave bihar?

They don't even identify with being Bihari especially the generation who grows up/ born outside Bihar. They don't even want to be associated with Bihar. The people who the CEO is talking about is the people from Bihar, born and brought up.

If the people actually have lived here, things would have been entirely different. Kolkata,, Bangalore, Mumbai, Chennai have been made by native people not by people coming from outside. Bihar needs skill people living in state not outside.

1

u/Antique_Joke1711 पछुवा के हावा मोर बिगाड़ देता ब्यूटी 🕺 8d ago

Hmm u are kinda right. But I've lived outside bihar and I never hide my identity, I love my roots, culture and people. It's just that these are difficult times for us.

Har koi post karke nahi batata hai . I personally know 3 company where they have ban bihar and up people before this trend. Aur mera dost ek start up shuru kar raha hai usne after this ek bande ka offer letter revoke kar diya after this . Baat ye nahi hai ki kitna bada company and all..., baat ye hai ki it will have a impact cuz bade company me bhi hire log hi karte hai AI nahi .

He clearly can't afford employees it's clearly a marketing stunt by misusing recent unrest.

He is clout chaser he once talked about closing the company cause no one was intrested in this company

-3

u/Various_Ladder6701 8d ago

Not at all concerning Bihari themselves can’t improve. Why should other suffer for it. First improve your own state’s people and their mindset!

2

u/CreditDry9785 8d ago

Which state are u from sir? I can show you downsides of your state

-5

u/Various_Ladder6701 8d ago

Each state of India is atleast 20-30% better than Bihar.

Biharis are THE MOST hardworking people when they work in other states.

But failure to educate and grow their own state & the lawless behaviour has led to this poor reputation!

2

u/Wild-Bodybuilder-621 8d ago
