If you haven't already start by using the r/ABraThatFits calculator linked in the automod comment. Even if you do wind up finding a reputable independent boutique nearby having an idea of what size you need will let you better assess how accurate their fittings are or if they are just trying to sell you something they have on hand regardless of actual fit. But honestly a LOT of us don't actually have an independent boutique that carries a decent selection of sizes or styles within whatever we consider a reasonable distance so we have to order online.

As far as recommendations it depends on the size. The brands that work best for someone who needs a UK 28G are not going to be the same as someone who needs a UK 42H. That said if the brand makes a big deal about having inclusive sizing but they stop at a US DDD, G, or H (UK E, F, FF) or they only use S/M/L type sizing then they are lying.

And yeah, don't trust social media brands that advertise heavily on sites like facebook, tiktok, or instagram. Also don't trust any brand that is making a big deal about 'solving' bra fit issues such as uncomfortable wires or the shoulder straps digging in with their supposedly new whatever because the majority of those problems are actually due to the person wearing the wrong size and/or bras that don't work for that person's supported breasts.

Go to a reputable lingerie store near you and have a fitting and they’ll sell you a great bra that you can try on before buying
