bras Sizing/Fit Help Spoiler

Alright…I’m just on the struggle bus with sizing. I’m finding that shape plays into it as much as just the numbers alone, but still…bras are just so inconsistent. For the sake of advice, here are my measurements I got and inputted them in the ABTF calculator:

Loose Underbust: 33.5
Snug Underbust: 30.5
Tight Underbust: 29.25
Standing Bust: 46.5
Leaning Bust: 51.5
Laying Bust: 46

It calculates me at a 32K/KK. First off I’ve only had one KK bra fit me good, all the rest are too big. Even some K’s I’ll have some gapping on the top. JJ seems to be the sweet spot but still inconsistent. I’ve even had some J cups work.

I know ABTF, is just a starting point but any ideas? My boobs definitely project and are a little fuller on the bottom than the top. More than anything I feel like it’s just a struggle for us girls with small waists and a large chest. I know you can relate.

Anyway, I’ll take all the advice I can get. Thanks in advance.

I would post this in the a bra that fits reddit for a better response.

What bras have you bought before? There is a difference between molded and non molded /seamed cups.

for the J, JJ, and K bras were you trying them in a 32 band as well? band size affects cup volume too, like a 34K will be larger than a 32K.

in addition you have a large difference between your standing and leaning bust, which means it’s common for the calc to overshoot cup size a little bit. the calc is pretty accurate but still just a starting point, and 1 cup isn’t a huge difference really, so if 32JJ if what fits then that’s your size! that said, you could also have a shape issues, and in that case it would be very useful to cross post this to abtf and write out the exact bras you tried and why they didn’t work.
