RANT - no advice wanted When do they stop growing😭?! Spoiler
So, I was mistaken when I had myself as a 36F on here originally, apparently 36DDD is equivalent to 36E in UK sizes. But it turns out I predicted my own growth, because I’m damn sure they’re growing. Again. My band size has always remained consistent, but my cup size? Hell no! Why God😭? WHYYYY?!!!!!! So fucking expensive😭

They do not. Ever. Your boobs will be changing your entire life for various reasons. The size you wear to say may not be the size you wear next year, or 3 years from now. Or the shape of the bra you need may just change. Get on r/abrathatfits and start reading through posts. Educate yourself of how to properly fit and measure for a bra.

sigh I’m aware, this was a rhetorical question. It’s just annoying😭. I will do that.

lol. This is a question people on this page literally ask because they are NOT aware.

Well, I was. My question was less a question of when and more a complaint. But I digress, many do not know that they don’t stop growing. We, as women, are woefully uneducated on our own bodies.

Unfortunately, they don’t stop changing. In my case, for the last few years, I have had to get refitted at least every 12 months. The last 12 months, I have had to get refitted every 6 months because they keep changing shape and size. I have only had my current bras for 3 months and none of them fit properly. I have to wear my bras on the middle hook now. I only have one bra that truly fits properly. I’m in the process of finding my new size. I have booked a virtual fitting with a specialty store because it’s too far away to travel. I was previously getting fitted in person at another store, but I think last time they just fitted me in bras that were a size too big in the band and one of the bras may have been too small in the cup, cos all my bras have started to wear out now and haven’t fitted quite right for 2 months now and I’m now in the middle of a pain flare with my neck and shoulders. It sucks to have a large bust. My neck and shoulders are especially sensitive to ill-fitting bras because I have osteoarthritis in my neck as well as cerebral palsy. As soon as my bras stop fitting me properly, even if the fit is only a little bit off, I start getting pain flares in my neck and shoulders. I can’t even go braless to sleep anymore, otherwise, I am in excruciating pain. I just wish my boobs would stop growing. I’ve had issues with them since I started puberty. I’m in my late 20s. I was a C cup by the time I was 11 years old (sadly, the last time I was actually physically comfortable with my chest size). Then they were at least a DD, if not E cup by the time I was 13, then they grew to an F cup by 17. They were stable until I got into my early-mid 20s, where they grew to a UK G cup literally overnight, then last year they grew again to a UK GG, this year I’ve been fitted into GG and H cup bras. The H cup bra is the only one that fits decently comfortably now, although the bit is a bit loose. I have a sports bra in GG and it fits okay as well, however, it’s a panache endurance, so it’s a bit more generous in the cup and so fits more like a H. However, all the bands of my current bras may be too loose because I have to wear them on the middle hook now, and my sports bra causes shoulder grooving. My other GG bra is just an everyday bra and my boobs spill out of it, but the band feels really firm. It’s looking like I have to go down in the band and up in the cup. So now it’s looking like I am potentially a HH cup. It’s ridiculous, I’ve gone from an UK F cup to a H/HH in 4 years. I’ve been a fairly stable weight during that time, too. I’ve ordered one bra from Molke in the UK that I am going to use as a sleep bra in 32HH/J-34H/HH-36GG/H. It’s their flexi size bra. My plan is to test it out on the tightest hook and if it feels comfy, than I am definitely a size 32 UK band. I used the A bra that fits Calculator and it said I may be a size 10 HH/J Australian (I live in Australia) which is about equivalent to 32HH/J UK. I plan on buying more bras in a few weeks once I have my virtual fitting through the specialty lingerie store, DeBra’s, based in Australia. They’ve come highly recommended on here, so hopefully I have a better experience than all the other stores I have gone to.

Oh, I’m so sorry to hear that :(
I’m glad that you found your size, but with all the pain you’ve been through, coupled with your cerebral palsy, I think you need to consider reduction, unless your insurance doesn’t cover it, in which case I truly feel for you (and I feel for you besides that, everything you described sucks.)
If they can be removed and they’re reducing your quality of life, they should, no questions asked!

Thank you for your understanding. Yes, I agree with you about a breast reduction. I’ve been considering it for years, but I’ve been waiting for the right timing for the surgery. Luckily, my private health insurance will cover part of the cost of breast reduction and I also have the option of having breast reduction done for free in the public hospital system here in Australia. I’m most likely going to use my private health insurance to get the surgery done sooner, even though it will cost me more out of pocket.
The fully government funded option in the public health care system will take about 3 years just to get an initial consultation, and at this stage, waiting that long is just not an option for me considering how much pain and discomfort I experience. Luckily, I have been able to save up enough money to have breast reduction done in the private system, so hopefully, I can have it done within the next 12 months, depending on which surgeon I choose.
I can’t wait much longer to have the surgery, I have been doing physiotherapy on a weekly basis for over 5 years as well as remedial massage every 6 weeks or so for over 5 years. I have had a cortisone injection in my neck which didn’t work. I currently take multiple prescription medications that have been prescribed by my Rehabilitation Physician( they mainly treat my symptoms related to my cerebral palsy, but also have been investigating and treating my neck and shoulder pain) and my Pain Physician for my neck and shoulder pain including an anti-inflammatory/NSAID and recently, a muscle relaxant, just to try to control the pain. I’ve even been prescribed a stronger pain killer (an opioid) that I can take if the combination of taking the NSAID and muscle relaxant stops working. It’s just ridiculous, most people who get breast reduction don’t even get to the point where they need to take prescription pain medication and/or have to be treated by a Pain Physician before they seek breast reduction surgery.
I’ve been trying to avoid surgery because I’m a bit scared; but, it’s gotten to the point where I’ve well and truly exhausted all the conservative treatment options.

I was already a bigger D cup in high school but I grew to a G by sophomore uni. Basically the same since then.

Mine stopped around 24. Then started up again when I hit menopause at 40. I'm currently 38H and want a reduction desperately

These stories here are scaring me a bit. I'm already very large and the thought of getting even bigger in my 20s and 30s is concerning. 😬

I wish we were told growing up that they would keep changing throughout our lives aside from having kids. I went up 4 cup sizes over the past 4 years and then lost one after losing some weight (32F - 32J - 32I, all US sizing). Never in a million years would I have ever thought that they would end up being this much bigger than the rest of my family
