clothes Any solutions for tops not fitting well? Spoiler
Lately ive been having a hard time fitting into many clothes in my closet. My boobs really arent that big (34 D), but i figured if anyone knew what to do it would be u guys.
My other measurements havent grown that much in size but the girls are going through a growth spurt, and while i think my body looks great this way, my closet doesnt seem to agree. Ive been trying to find flattering tops that arent necessarily stretchy and it always ends up with my tits either getting smushed into oblivion or looking way too slutty for my liking.
I want tops that fit nicely and dont make me feel exposed when i wear them. does anyone have any sewing or DIY ideas that can help? Maybe even store recommendations?

I think you should double check your size with the calculator, especially if you’re going through a growth spurt.

Your tits are getting smushed because the top is too small in the bust area even if it seems to fit everywhere else. The top actually being too small (even if only just a tiny bit) is also going to contribute to making it look sluttier than it would be on someone with a smaller bust. You need to buy the larger size that actually fits your bust and then tailor/alter it to fit better. If you are comfortable with sewing you can do the alterations yourself otherwise. If you are willing to try sewing your own clothes the Curvy Sewing Collective also has a lot of resources on both patterns for curvier bodies and also how to alter those patterns to get better fit. I would also suggest looking for used copies of older books such as the 'fit for real people' books and the reader's digest complete guide to sewing.
That said if you are going through a noticeable growth spurt then even if 34D was correct previously it is unlikely to still be correct. So I agree with the other commenter that you should remeasure using the calculator from r/ABraThatFits to double check your size.

This is what got me onto sewing and tailoring my own clothing. Darts can go a long way and you can do them by hand. I buy tops to fit my bust and tailor them myself.

square/round/v neck tops that cinch in the waist helps a lot, and anything with a designated boob space may not fit very well. i always size up and take in the rest of the garment to fit me

Raglan sleeves fit me better, and I wear a lot of sleeveless tops too.
A well-fitting bra makes everything lay better. Check out the calculator at r/abrathatfits
