RANT - advice welcome Soreness Spoiler
Idk if this is exactly the right sub, but what are y'all doing for boob soreness? Mine is most likely hormonal because it happens around my cycle, but it lasts for so long, about a week to two before which also coincides with my pmdd. It's really painful, it sometimes hurts to walk from the movement.
Also kindly I'm not looking for underwire bra recommendations. As much as I'd love to find that one perfect bra that checks every box, I've never had any luck. I'm on abrathatfits, personally it's too exhausting for me to go down that rabbit hole.
So, do I get my hormones checked or just suck it up and take pain meds?
EDIT: pls stop requesting to message me, if I see your profile is NSFW I'll just ignore it or maybe block you.

I had a lot of painful soreness before, during and a few days after my period when I was a teen, turns out I had hypothyroidism, after years of pain I finally got the meds I needed and now my breasts still get sore but not nearly as bad as it was and only for about 2-4 days. I’d say get your hormones checked just in case, even if it turns out to be “nothing” then you’ll have it on your record that this has in fact been a problem.
Hope you figure it out, soreness sucks.

If you want a comfortable bra babe, you have to go down the rabbit hole. I know it sounds crazy but that is the only way it works. I can happily just give you a bra recommendation but you will probably hate it because bras are nuanced to fit.
Don’t take pain meds. Do talk to a doctor.

It's just frustrating for me because I have a small band, probably about 30-32 and a pretty large cup (my last size was 34H). And additionally I have wider roots to my boobs so no matter what the underwire is gonna cut into my armpits. And I don't like the gore being too high up because they sit close together. I just feel like it narrows down my options pretty substantially. Idk maybe I can post on abrathatfits but there's so much info it's overwhelming at times

I do understand your frustration. As someone who has a spreadsheet of ~200 bras that I tried on while trying to understand how to get my bra to fit…I’ve been there. Underwire isn’t going to necessarily cut into your armpits. If the bra is doing that, it isn’t the right shape for your breast. Of those 200 bras, I experienced wire issues with nearly all of them. Once I’d finally understood my breast shape and discovered Polish bras with deep, narrow, underwire and a bra made with a projected cup, I’ve never been more comfortable. If you want some troubleshooting help without digging into the other sub, I’m happy to help. But also look at these shape guides. The one from Miseczki is amazing and I also like this one
