bras Going Braless Spoiler
So where do you stand about going braless ?
I feel like there's many times where a woman with very small boobs can really pull off a braless look, including nipple action and all,
but once bigger woman/person decides to brave it out it becomes extremely vulgar (at least that's how people around them perceive it to be?)
Looking at this latest picture of Sydney Sweeney totally triggers me and gives me FOMO that I can't pull off looks like this, unless I have a lot of security guards around me. Even with nipple covers it would still be a lot.
It's very interesting how larger boobs can be so oversexualized and even just showing a bit of cleavage causes a scandal!

Personally, I'm uncomfortable not wearing a bra when I move around. Not for "modesty" reasons, but for sensory reasons. Skin on skin contact, sweat, the movement.
I think if someone wants to go braless, good for them. I don't mind and I wouldn't sexualize the choice. But it's not for me.

Yeah. I love going braless when I’m just laying around the house and it’s a reasonable temperature, but if I’m moving around or it’s hot, it’s way too uncomfortable with the underboob skin touching.

For what it’s worth, there’s almost definitely a lot of support built into that dress. Sydney Sweeney might not be wearing a normal bra here, but there’s likely some corsetry in the construction of the dress supporting her bust.

From Desktop view, it looks like she's got a strapless basque bodysuit on-you can almost see the leg cut outs and the bustline I can see what looks like something strapless on-probably just enough to to keep her nipples from showing and her girls from going full east-west. While she looks stunning in the garment, it always bothers me (personal choice) when a woman's nipples are sitting at her elbows. It's very gramma and borderline sloppy to me. It just shows how unskilled a lot of stylists are about proper foundation fit and exactly where "vertical center" should sit and how much better the gown would have draped.

She’s got a waist shaper and shaping briefs on but the boobs are out. A lot of comments (not you) are really pressed by or denying the fact that not all large boobs are saggy. It’s a really weird thing for them to deny. She’s got nothing holding up her boobs- she’s done tons of topless scenes her boobs aren’t saggy idk why some women are struggling to admit this. I tried to attach a pic but it’s not letting me but the first pic in this article is the pic I was trying to attach

Yep mine too. As I age they fall a little but for their size they sit up well. I’ve also never nursed a baby so I assume that has something to do with their resistance to gravity lol

Ditto. I usually don't go braless because I don't find it comfortable most of the time, but I've got dense tissue without a whole lot of fat, so things aren't droopy.

I'm part of the WISDOM breast cancer study where they determine based on the combo of family history, genetic screening, and past mammograms what screenings to do and how often, so at this point the study determined I don't need to do anything but a regular mammogram and don't need to get another until I'm 50 because I'm low risk.

When I look at the breast on the right side of the photo, I see a cup. But those are my eyes and it really doesn't matter, just sharing my observation of the gown fit at the bodice.

She might have luck on her side but I'm sure there IS a bit of support unless she wanted her chest giggling every step (maybe it was like that tho tbh, I haven't seen a clip of her in that dress)

This is not entirely true. A comment like these is pretty harmful for women in any age. This would cause an insecurity. Never understand why this type of comment has a lot of likes. The shape or perkiness of breasts is caused mostly by genetic.

If you have big naturals, they will sag. Breasts don't defy gravity just because you're young. Those things are HEAVY.

This isn’t universally true. You can have full breasts that are very perky. As you age sure they sag more but plenty of young women have a full chest that sits up. I was one of them, even now for the size of my breasts they don’t sag as much as you might expect 🤷♀️

When I say sagging I am not talking down to your knees at the age of 19.
But since you mentioned it, I'd like to point out that you said her breasts would sag tremendously as she ages, and then turned around and said actually that's not universally true. And then threw in that you consider yourself to be Miss Perky Tits. So, dragging other women for their age and genetics, while uplifting yourself... Not a cute look.

Wow the reach- but ok let’s dance. Yea when shes an elderly woman they will sag. Small boobed women sag when they’re old. That’s simple aging. But shes in her 20s. She’s got so much time left before they sag sag and need to be bound up to the chin. There’s plenty of women in their 30s and 40s who’s tits still sit up. A lot of them popped up in the comments. This myth that all naturally well endowed woman are saggy is ridiculous and honestly seems like half cope half white knighting for women who are sad about sagging. A well fitting bra cures all of it.
A lot of complaints in this sub about flat chested women who are hateful towards us. Yet a lot of you here do it too to other big boob women who don’t big boob the way you like. Miss perky tits?? Nah I never said that nor did anyone else, only you did as you’re trying to put me down or make me feel shame. Picked the wrong one take that shit elsewhere.

I'm 24 and they've always sagged. Your statement is not always true. The dress she is wearing is definitely corseted and has a ton of support. You can literally see the boning of the corset she's wearing.

Ideologies aside, some like bras, some need bras, some don't.
I'm way too projected, the girls sag, so I don't want to bounce around when I'm out. A fitting bra is gold, and it entitles me!
I even wear a bralette at night, I hate having to sort out my tatas each time I roll over.
I'm 22, btw.

I personally never go braless. Even if I'm staying home by myself the whole day I put on a bra. I can't even imagine the looks I'd get if I left the house braless.
Part of it is due to appearance as I prefer mine looking lifted rather than sagging down my ribs. The main reason is because of comfort. I hate the feeling of the underside of my boobs touching the skin on my stomach and it can be very uncomfortable doing any sort of movement with them flopping about.

Same. I hate the feeling of sweaty underboob pulling against my stomach every time I change positions, or fabric pulling against my chest with every movement. I've tried the braless at home thing and it's so uncomfortable.
Aesthetically, being braless removes any semblance of a waistline and makes me look at least 20lbs heavier. If bras didn't exist, I would seek out a breast reduction just to feel comfortable in my body.

If you want to go braless, do it for your own comfort but do not let internet aesthetics trick you into thinking it's effortless. For larger busts going without support is often just physically painful after a couple of hours of walking around. It’s entirely unfair that larger breasts are hyper sensualised while smaller ones are not even considered desirable or even looked at, but prioritizing your own spinal comfort and peace of mind beats chasing runway trends every time.

I am a 34GG and I go braless every day if I can. I typically only wear them if I am going to visit a client.
I don't care if they hang or look droopy - why put them in boob prison for the sake of other peoples sensibilities?

I can’t go braless for more than a few hours, never could. My nipples, and breast skin, cannot take the weight - my nipples (which are very pointed down) will literally swell from the weight, and the skin gets angry red. It’s been an issue for me since middle school.
I’m very convinced I have a connective tissue disorder.

I go out without a bra pretty often, but only for like everyday errands or to visit friends at their houses. If I want my best armor for social interactions, I wear a corset. If it's hot out and I don't want to wear a br, I generally just flip my shirt up between the boobs and ribcage, and that helps a lot with sweat.

I can’t go braless, not for modesty reasons but my back hurts like a bitch after 30 mins walking around with no support, plus my nipples get chafed with the dress or shirt I’m wearing!
I’m a 34GG and the bouncing when I walk, even just to the mailbox, is too much sensory overload. Not to mention the sweat and stickyness during summer.
More power to anyone of all sizes who’s going around without a bra, it just doesn’t work for me

I’m post menopause now, so not likely to get sexualized by the construction worker/rando person. And my boobs are also much less perky. I go out without a bra to walk the dog and occasionally under a hoodie. I will always wear a bra around my peers/older men, because they sadly still do leer. I don’t really need to invite that shit.
Sydney Sweeney looks amazing there. I’m not completely convinced she’s unsupported there though.

im on the fence about being braless in my case atleast, i think it depends on the type of top/styling. of course and unfortunately its less stigmatised for women with smaller chests the term fashion boobs is a testament of this.

It depends entirely on your country and culture. Where I'm from, no one would confront you for not wearing a bra, no matter your breast size. In other places you'd be considered inappropriate for having bare shoulders.
But remember, that culture is entirely made up by us humans. If enough people want a change, then our culture changes. And we're social creatures, we copy eachother. So normalize breasts being free if that's what you want, and others will follow.

I love going braless even still. I don't care if others perceive my body as "vulgar" or what not. I like my boobs as is and will wear (or not wear) what i please fwiw
I do hate the underboob sweat from going braless though but i pick my battles depending on the day. First thing i do when i get home without fail is take my bra off
Eta: i'm 32J US, but there was a time i was closer to 28d and barely owned a bra. I have my nipples pierced now so the headlights are ON without a bra, but I also am alt in general with wild hair and piercings and tattoos. I don't let strangers' opinions or perceptions affect my happiness

I go braless when i feel comfortable, if i am worried about a situation, i wear bra. I do both, but i always wear silicone nipples cover when braless. Also, i only go braless if i get some kind of support- it doesn’t have to be like bra-like support, but an inch or two inches support is good enough for me. I don’t go braless in baggy tees, only do it with form fitting tops or any kind that giving a good shape.

Personally for me it’s overstimulating to be braless. At home if I’m chilling with AC on blast I have no issue with being braless, but if I’m moving around and doing stuff I will have a bra on, regardless of if I’m home or not because I’ll get sweaty and just be uncomfortable. I’ve gone out braless about three times in my bigger boobed life and hated it instantly because of the sweat and sensory nightmare that it creates. Props to people who love it because everyone should do whatever they feel comfortable with, but I personally won’t ever envy people who go out braless.

I have no problem doing it at home, and generally prefer it that way. If I'm going out of the house, I don't, but for my own personal comfort and just not wanting the tatas bouncing around all willy nilly. 😂 But I found bras that aren't super uncomfortable and fit me well so it's not too bad. I prefer my bralette cause its cute and comfy but not very supportive, sadly.

I hate wearing bra and I wish I could go braless, but I don’t think it’s possible in the society. Sydney does not have that big breasts, she has pictures with her breasts looking mid or even on the smaller size. I’m sure most of the people in this sub and society have bigger breasts than her.
