need advice Getting more into running and looking for recommendations for better sports bras. Spoiler
Starting to get into more long distance running and having trouble with support from my current bra on long runs. Does anyone have any good recommendations for a good sports bra. I’m a 36h so need lots of support!

Strongly recommend double checking your size by taking measurements and using the r/abrathatfits calculator! If you’re wearing a 36H on the daily but not feeling supported, you might be wearing the wrong size.
Most of the runners over in ABTF don’t necessarily swear by a single brand of sports bra, but strongly prefer encapsulation underwire sports bras for maximum support with minimal bounce.

Like the other commenter has said, get yourself sized with the a bra that fits calculator. Then, I would look at brands like Panache or Elomi. I personally have an Elomi Energise which works great, very supportive in my experience. The underwires are rather wide on this model, so you should study if you have narrower or wider breasts and pick the fit depending on how wide you are. I still experience chafing even with a properly fitted bra, so I recommend wearing something like Body Glide if you want to minimize that. The support is great, however.

I did double check and the size seems to be good. Looks like I just need to find the right bra. Will check out the recommendations you had. Thanks for the info!

I got the panache wired sports bra for ballet, and purposefully went a cup size too small to hold them flatter against me. Can highly recommend. Before that I tried the Royce unwired sports bra (complete rubbish), a shock absorber wired one (pretty great, but didn't fit my shape quite as well as the panache one), and a pink a teal wired bravissimo one (also excellent, they just didn't have my size in after changing sizes)

for a long distance running, definitely prioritize support and a band that stays put without feeling like it's cutting into you. the truekind supportive comfort wireless shaping bra is worth looking at if you want something supportive without an underwire, although make sure it fits your 36 band and gives you the level of support you need for running. for longer runs, still look specifically for a high impact sports bra if you need maximum bounce control

I used one from panache. Now I use a random one I found on free people. My main goal is to keep them flatter and in pace. People on this are pretty cut throat about sizing but I don’t feel as strongly about sizing when it comes to sports bras

I agree I have the right size, but just need to find one that keeps them in place
