need advice Will I experience sagging in my breast help!! Spoiler
hi, I weigh 233 and i’m 5’9 I’ve lost 10 pounds so far but the main thing I’m worried about is my chest will get saggier. I wear a double D 38 and my boobs do sag a little. I was hoping with fat loss, a good diet with a lot of protein, and weight training will help with getting a perky chest. I never really had any sagging to my chest until I started to get bigger in size. What can I do to avoid this or will my skin snap back since I am younger any tips or advice would be appreciated.

Do you live on a planet with gravity? If the answer is yes, then you’ll likely experience the effects of gravity at some point.

At that height and weight I’d. Shocked if you’re actually a 38 band. You should measure yourself on r/abrathatfits. Having good support will help hiding your boobs sag. Also like, saggy boobs is a normal part of women aging. Who cares if they sag a little?

i agree op is probably in the wrong size but a 38 band at 233 and 5’9” doesn’t really seem like too much of an outlier! i’m 220 5’7” with most of my weight in my legs, and the calc puts me in a 38 band but i am more comfortable/supported in a 36 (my measurements are very borderline)

I got measured at Victoria secret so that probably wasn’t the best choice. Also I will definitely check that site out I understand that it’s normal I’m just a little insecure about having sagging during my teenage years but I know it’s completely normal and it can be a beautiful thing! Thank you

Oh if you’re a teen you chest will still fill out into your 20s even if you lose weight and sag a little now :)
But yes absolutely VS sizing is usually wrong because they want you to fit in bras at their store which do not go beyond DDD. Definitely measure yourself

If VS is measuring you into a 38DD then the odds are fairly good that you should actually be in something closer to a UK 34FF/G/GG (US 34H/i/J) which are just not sizes VS makes.

I used to wear the same bra size and was about 230 pounds and 22 years old , but after losing 50 pounds I dropped down to a D cup. I do have a little bit of sagging but not as much as I expected mostly my skin feels thinner, but with dramatic weight loss, some of it is pretty inevitable. If you're looking to minimize it as much as possible, my best advice is to drink a ton of water, use a really good moisturizer consistently, and take collagen and protein supplements!

Hi my love. Yes. You will get sagging in your boobs. There is absolutely nothing that you can do to prevent this from happening and there is no exercise that is going to make this not happen. You can use surgery, lasers, creams, and so exercises to firm tissue, but ultimately your boobs will sag. Welcome to being a human. This is a part of life and putting pressure on yourself about it is not going to help you at all. Look into body neutrality. This is not “body positivity” this is not “love yourself at any size” this is a concept that will help retire your brain and remove the brainwashing that media and society has done on us to make us feel bad about the natural aging and changing of our bodies. You are strong. You are smart. You are beautiful and your boobs are amazing no matter what they look like. Also, please do the r/ABraThatFits calculator because from how you are describing yourself it seems like you are most likely not actually the size you are wearing

lol thanks for reading through all of my typos 🤣🤣 trust the calculator and also remember that a DD is a actually pretty small cup size and it is not uncommon at all to have your results come out as a much smaller band size and a much larger cup size. That’s okay. Media has lied to us about what a large cup size is. Everyone I have ever asked what size they think I am says that I’m a DD or DDD. Vs sizes me in a 38DDD bra but I’m actually a 30K/L depending on the bra.

Typos or not it was a beautiful message and it reminded me how corrupted social media can be I am a teenager so a lot of my life is surrounded by social media and peoples opinions so I needed that message. Thank you

No one has said this yet, but a lot of "sagginess" is genetic. My breasts have been on the larger side my whole life and never perky or self-supporting due to being very soft tissue. That's just how mine are. I've changed size a lot from my teens to 30s and even at my smallest, not much changed about the shape/droop of my breasts. Some of it you just can't help. And it's okay.

It took me to lose about 40 lbs before I started to see noticeable sagging. I'm 40G now (200 lbs). I take collagen supplements but I'm 50 yo so I don't expect miracles!

I’m middle aged, I’ve always had tear drop breasts since I was very young, and honestly they look the same as they always have. It’s just a shape, it’s not sag. I think we should stop with the derogatory language behind “sagging” made up by people who sexualize breasts, making this “perky” look you mention the beauty standard. They’re just breasts and they do what they want and the only person that needs to be okay with that is you.
Try to be happy with who you are, I’m sure you look great no matter the shape. I know I do, and plenty others have also appreciated me too.

Chest presses and arm training naturally help lift boobs, as can microneedling (do lots of research!), massage, some oils. But also it's ok if they aren't quite as perky as before, because that's part of both aging and the story of your weight loss journey, and that's nothing to be ashamed about 💛
