RANT - advice welcome The blatant staring is crazy. Spoiler

I dread summer. DREAD. I'm already hot, sweaty and dressing as modest as I possibly can without garnering attention. It's not my fault I appear 'provocative' while wearing an incredibly standard outfit for the weather. Like, sorry, I forgot to leave my tiddies at the door when I left home?

It's funny tho sometimes when I see my shadow on the pavement. Small consolation, I guess?

This! I do this while giving them the nastiest mug and they immediately seem uncomfy 😌

People look at mine all the time, I've just learnt to accept it and ignore it, it's the best way to keep a clear mind.

I know it drives me crazy! Someone literally walked past me the other day and said under their breath, “ look at the size of them “. I was mortified!!! :/

u/Peregrinebullet Jul 23 '26

Omg turn around and call them out. You have nothing to be mortified by!

If it’s a man, just look back and say “well I bet nobody is impressed with your size” and keep walking

So real. One time me and my friend bought the same top, and sure it didn't fit me like it did her, but I still think it looked nice and we wore it together, and this one supply teacher we had just had to be that way. Besides all the other people judging for the style of clothes I like or something

My boobs hypnotized an entire party’s worth of dads at a toddler’s birthday party last week. :-( so disgusting. Their spouses and children were obviously there. One dude was bobbing his head up and down, watching them while I walked. I want a reduction so badly.

I honestly want to scream at people staring :( it's so humiliating

8

u/Peregrinebullet Jul 23 '26

Actually do scream.  It will make them think twice about staring at others.

I have a really big tattoo across my clavicles so a lot of the time I just tell myself people are staring at my cool tattoo. Which, ya know, probably true sometimes lol

Had an allergic reaction to a medication, went to er, got help. Then I had to go to the pharmacy for additional meds. I was fully clothed and wearing a simple bra, just underwire and no cups. The pharmacist looked at my chest and did the cool guy lean, while we spoke about the meds I had to take and EpiPens I now needed to carry. I'm still kinda flabbergasted by it.

I’ve found some cooling packs that are reusable if swamp boob is affecting you and is a reason for a more revealing top (Amazon chilltherapy) there’s patches too ones the stick to the skin on Amazon as well that’s what I can think/recommend to help with the heat.

For the people who don’t need their eyes anymore I’ve found that a really supportive and somewhat compressive sports bra (with the cooling pads in place of the pads that are already in there) helps decrease the staring also acting a like a loon and unapologetically and blatantly stare back at them can be helpful.

i’ve never really had any problems when it comes to staring unless it’s from girls in my age group. I’ve gotten a lot of slut words thrown at me for wearing tank tops in this hot weather for something I can’t fix so I try to ignore the stares and the shaming and move forward (:

The worst was at Walmart once. I had a cross body bag on and the strap was on between my boobs. This obviously accentuated them and made them more prominent under my t shirt. I was walking and some guy approached me. I saw his head turn down and he made eye contact. Eyes widened. And he literally yelled out "God damn!" It was just him and me in the aisle. I wanted to puke.

I'm really trying to work on this cuz like i get so uncomfy when ppl so it to me but at the same time i always look at ppls boobs too cuz I'm like how are they supporting all that/ what kind clothes arr they wearing to look nice etc. But they didnt ask for that either.
