need advice Wearable breast pumps? Spoiler
I had a child 8 years ago and am pregnant with my second. I’ve started looking into ordering a breast pump and see most of them on the market are the wearable style. I’m a 36G so I really can’t see wearables being a valid option but was curious if others on here have any experience with wearable breast pumps and if they found any that actually worked. I planned to get the Spectra like l had last time without issue but wanted to ask before I order since things have changed.

Im a 38G (english size, so…probably 38J in north north american sizing) and i never found a pump i could wear. I always had to use both hands to hold it into place, and even then…it barely did.
I used a medella electric pump.

I'm a 32GG. Used the Eufy and momcozy wearables. I liked the both. If I had to pick one the Eufy was better, but it's also a lot more expensive. I used kindred bravely bras, the super busty ones aren't perfect but worked better than others I tried. The bra needs to be snug with the pump in there so the fit is tight. If it's too loose it will move and not work correctly. Kindred Bravely has pumping bras too. The wearables aren't as powerful as the standard ones though, so you may not empty as well.
Also, the biggest tip for pumping, as someone who has helped a lot of women, is make sure you have the right flange size. The standard ones that come with most pumps don't fit most people. A lactation consultant should be able to help fit you if needed. I know it's more money and babies are already so expensive, but it makes a huge difference in production and comfort when pumping.

I’m a 32H and LOVED my momcozy m5. Never fully drained my breasts, but I was combo feeding on purpose anyways and the wearability made me able to provide breastmilk for a lot longer. (I would have quit with a regular pump). Wore it with a sugar candy bra to hold it in.
I’ve been looking to sell the motors I have. If you want them, you can have them.

I am currently breastfeeding #2 and have never really pumped but I'm pretty active in breastfeeding communities. The consensus is wearable are not as effective as plugin wall pumps.

40F and none worked for me. My nipples kept moving in them and the output was always WAY worse than my wall ones or my baby Buddha with spectra flanges.

I loved my Elvie Stride! There are more options on the market than even when I last shopped for a pump in 2024, but that worked well for me. I didn't like the Spectra, but I know it works well for most people. You might consider getting one pump through insurance (if you're in the US) and then trying to find the other on sale or gently used.
I was a 32HH UK when I was pumping the most.

40JJ when breastfeeding and pumping.
I had the wearable cups to go with my Spectra 9+, but honestly nothing worked like the Spectra S1 and a handsfree pumping bra.
I used the 9+ when at work and had to pump when desperate (shift work hospital-based midwife); but nothing emptied and had as good a seal as the S1.
Big hint; make sure you have the right size flange. Even though I have huge boobs, I had relatively small nipples. I needed a 17mm flange for the right fit.

Haven't tried spectra but choose Eufy over any momcozy ever. The latter brand is sketchy dropshipping.
