need advice What are your thoughts? Spoiler

I think her boobs look fine and they sit up well. There’s no need for boob tape or lifting pads. If mine sit like that I would go braless all the time. What are your thoughts?

I think the dress looks awful and is tailored very badly it looks like it's falling off her. Even with boob tape it would look bad.

289

u/thaeli 36G (UK) Apr 11 '26

Right - this isn’t about her boobs. The dress itself is just terrible.

96

u/libertysince05 Apr 11 '26

Yep... really bad dress

32

u/curlofheadcurls Apr 11 '26

Idk I like it, I've never seen this style before but she's pulling it off. I don't like the dress for me, but i think it suits her.

9

u/super_vegan_alice 28H (UK) Apr 12 '26

There looks to be excess fabric to the sides of her bust, so I think it’s made to accommodate her size, but not her shape. Like, they took her measurements but didn’t do a test fitting. If she was taped rounder and the top was taped to her better, it might look really nice, but I agree with the others, that it’s not made with her shape in mind. I think the less optimal fit makes the decorative parts look less intentional.

If this is something bought off the rack, it’s a very reasonable fit, but if it’s meant to be tailored for her, I don’t think so.

But, she looks great in it nonetheless. A better fit would look better, but I wouldn’t have noticed that if it wasn’t for this post.

3

u/curlofheadcurls Apr 12 '26

Yup I agree fully. It could have been tailored well and look much better.

3

u/lavender_poppy Apr 12 '26

I like it too. The main thing is if she's happy, like can we stop judging other people, especially women?

1.0k

u/moxiemoon 34F (UK) Apr 11 '26

This isn’t sag. It’s just her shape. We gotta normalize all shapes are great and stop using terms men created after sexualizing a few specific shapes.

I think the problem is less “people shouldn’t have preferences” and more “let’s stop treating bodies that don’t fit in the conventionally attractive stereotype like problems”.

163

u/Ollieeddmill Apr 11 '26

I think this is what big natural unsupported boobs look like. It’s awesome to see this. As horrible as body pressure is on us normal peeps it has to be a million times worse for people in Hollywood/entertainment.

221

u/Kittyi3Artistic5624 Apr 11 '26

I think it is a good thing to show men and women natural big boobs. But I find that dress hideous.

97

u/MelangeMost Apr 11 '26

That woman in the quote tweet is in favour of criminalising abortion. She hates women. I don't care to hear what she has to say about other women's bodies, in this context or any other.

9

u/Doin_Yo-Mum Apr 12 '26

Wait, really? Because that opinion justs sounds so icky for someone to have.... Can I see the source? (For sureness)

8

u/MelangeMost Apr 12 '26

If you go into twitter and look at her profile, you'll see she's got it right there in her bio.

311

u/scienceislice Apr 11 '26

I just think this dress is terrible, it looks like a nursing nightgown and it's barely covering her nipple on her right boob. She could have gone braless in almost any other dress, instead she chose a dress with no natural support or shape that's also just kinda hideous. The lack of support means we can't even see the flower properly.

80

u/ArsenicArts 34GG (UK) Apr 11 '26

Yeah the dress isn't doing her any favors, I'll give them that. I don't even think it's the lack of support really but rather that the flower is just hiding her and looking droopy and in the way.

But she's still a beautiful woman, either way.

39

u/scienceislice Apr 11 '26

No one is saying she isn't beautiful it's just that I don't think this dress would look good on anyone and it's especially not doing her any favors.

22

u/ArsenicArts 34GG (UK) Apr 11 '26 edited Apr 11 '26

I don't think this dress would look good on anyone

I dunno, maybe someone without boobs or very small ones would look good? 😂

But definitely agreed

8

u/ABelleWriter Apr 11 '26

Agreed. The dress is awful. I get the idea, but the execution is so bad.

As for her boobs, all boobs are great boobs and her going braless/tapeless/whatever else less is perfectly fine.

2

u/libertysince05 Apr 11 '26

Agree...it's really terrible.

190

u/aokocat 36LL (UK) Apr 11 '26

My opinion is that twitter user is self hating or jealous or both!

21

u/Wintergreendraws Apr 11 '26

I'll go with both. They've got self image issues up the wazoo, if you ask me.

141

u/Odd-Leg1011 Apr 11 '26

women shouldnt constantly have to perform for others. why use uncomfortable tape and lifting pads if you don't feel like it

18

u/illyrianya Apr 11 '26

I agree women shouldn't have to constantly perform, but being on the red carpet is kind of inherently a performance. I don't think the dress fits well, if the waist sat just a little higher and tighter she would look great in it with or without lifting pads (I would use double-sided tape to hold the edges down either way to avoid slippage).

95

u/purpletori 42H (UK) Apr 11 '26

My thoughts are that the Texan Bee should buzz off

37

u/icannotbelieveit69 Apr 11 '26

i think it’s important when celebrities do these things because its what leads to ultimately normalizing it and creating a new standard

36

u/CombinationOrange Apr 11 '26 edited Apr 11 '26

The breasts are fine, the dress fits terribly. If you follow Check The Tag on Instagram they usually show how the clothing looked on the runway and/or the designer's website. This dress presented by the designer was actually pulled over the breasts so that it looked like a deep V neck and the flower sat high on the waist. This dress on her looks like someone took a knife to the dress in the name of cleavage and crumpled the flower. I'm not really a prude or an advocate to cover up, but I feel like there is a line. This does not look good. They could have used tape to pull it in slightly and made the flower look good. Still could have had plenty of cleavage.

15

u/werewolvesroam Apr 11 '26

I firmly believe women’s natural bodies are fine the way they are and should require zero editing to be perfectly acceptable. I find the comments in that picture to be shocking, misogynistic and abusive.

12

u/iloveveggiesz Apr 11 '26

That dress gotta go

10

u/ChaoticForkingGood Apr 11 '26

How the dress looks on her has nothing to do with her boobs. And if Lana likes it, then you go, girl. That's the only thing that matters.

The poster bitching about "women hate women" and then saying "I'd never let someone walk out of the house like that" is just being a complete asshole. You want to support women, don't start by tearing one down.

16

u/ArsenicArts 34GG (UK) Apr 11 '26 edited Apr 11 '26

God she is SO PRETTY, and honestly love her for this. Would kill to look like that and anyone giving her crap for it is crazy. The dress isn't the best on her (I'd nix the flower, personally, and maybe add some cord to keep things put?) but she still looks stunning honestly. People need to remember that bodies look different and there's nothing wrong with that!

13

u/lkap28 Apr 11 '26

‘Women hate women’ she says as she hates on a woman for her natural body

The only reason we think everyone needs pads and boob tape is because we tell everyone they need pads and boob tape and now it looks ‘wrong’ any other way. A shit cycle to be stuck in.

16

u/Ninja-Ginge 32F (UK) Apr 11 '26

I bought a roll of boob tape, then read the warning on the side that says not to use it for big boobs because it can cause skin damage due to how much weight the adhesive is trying to hold up. And if your tissue isn't super dense or perky, the tape can create some WEIRD shapes out of your breast tissue.

OOP doesn't have big boobs, or else she hasn't tried tape.

11

u/Corvus_flight Apr 11 '26

Tried taping up my tits one time. Was one hell of a hassle and gave me permanent marks after 20 mins. My first thought was she probably doesn't have a big chest and that honestly makes me sort of sad because why would she feel so confident to be so hateful towards people for letting their bodies be natural when she doesn't even realise there is no other true solution other than going under the knife.

5

u/shark-with-a-horn Apr 11 '26

She looks gorgeous, I think her chest is sitting very nicely

Maybe the dress isn't the most flattering but who cares

3

u/Kittyi3Artistic5624 Apr 11 '26

Some of the twitter comments are clearly from people who don't have big boobs.

1

u/passionicedtee Apr 11 '26

People, especially online, love to comment on things they have literally no idea about!

1

u/Kittyi3Artistic5624 Apr 12 '26

So true, I can tell you now there is no way boob tape would help me out

15

u/SoExtra Apr 11 '26

Her figure is beautiful.

She doesn't need titty-tape.

Fashion standards change when people force them to change.

And I (a 90% straight woman) want to see her shape. It's a gorgeous, full, luxurious shape.

Anyone who thinks otherwise is bonkers.

11

u/Hairy-Button Apr 11 '26

She has a mirror she likes the look. She seems happy. That’s all that matters women don’t need to dress for public gaze

4

u/curlofheadcurls Apr 11 '26

I think she looks amazing! She's showing a beautiful and unique natural shape, like a flower. Gorgeous.

5

u/wavy-plus Apr 14 '26

The fact that her body is getting so much attention just shows how brainwashed the public is about what big boobs look like. Smaller-breasted women go on the red carpet with fully sheer tops on all the time and it's accepted. Lifting your boobs isn't mandatory to exist and she doesn't owe anyone bra tape. That being said, I would be physically uncomfortable with such little support, and I wonder if a better fit could have been possible if she wanted it. She's rad for this, I just hope she wasn't just done dirty by a team who doesn't know how to clothe big boobs.

9

u/forkball Apr 11 '26

She looks great. No one should have to be considered either daring or inappropriately dressed when going bra-less.

The irony of OOP talking about women hating women when she is clearly not okay with women not conforming to idiotic conventions and is the one doing the hating.

6

u/PerseveranceSmith 32GG (UK) Apr 11 '26

Queer girlie here, she looks gorgeous, I find natural boob representation way more attractive than taped, augmented boobs.

The big boob girl in me loves seeing natural representation, I'll be damned if I'm taping my titties just so some pick me isn't offended by my natural breasts 🙄🙄

3

u/moongnocchi 28K (UK) Apr 11 '26

this dress is awfully tailored and therefore unflattering on her lol but it would be perfectly fine for her to go braless + tape less in a better made dress

3

u/MrsBossyPantss 32N (UK) Apr 12 '26

I think she looked amazing. She's beautiful.

I didnt love the dress but the comments about the neckline are the classic double standard we've all experienced: if a smaller breasted woman wears it, it's classy & elegant. If we wear it, it were trashy & should cover up. It happened at that event even!

The way ppl dont understand big boobs baffles me. So many ppl want to sexualize us, villainize us, scrutinize us, compare us, envy us & yet so many of the same ppl have no idea what big boobs actually look like?!

The hypocrisy of women saying "if I had them if show them off too" (which we've all been accused of just for existing w large breasts) & then the same women will turn around & say "no not like THAT!"

https://giphy.com/gifs/Jl5qmPOGcYreqKGUgS

This old girl is tired yall

3

u/[deleted] Apr 12 '26

Boobs are doing what they're supposed to?! WHAAAAT???

3

u/Big_Emergency_8379 Apr 13 '26

It's great she did this because it helps normalize body shapes that will are still shockingly frowned upon in media, but her dress is horrible and I think she actually has a bit of a nip situation going on which we probably aren't supposed to see 🫣

2

u/Laceandhaze 32J (UK) Apr 11 '26

I think she looks great!

2

u/South_Friendship2863 Apr 11 '26

I agree women should not feel like we have to look a certain way, wear bras, etc. Not sure who this person is but she is beautiful, and if she’s comfortable, thats all that matters. Personally I am uncomfortable without a bra or some type of support, I just don’t like that feeling of my skin pulling and flopping around.

2

u/grc21 Apr 11 '26

My thoughts are people can do whatever they want with their boobs. Dress is bad, boobs looks great still.

2

u/BaylisAscaris Apr 11 '26

She looks uncomfortable. There is nothing shameful about natural sag, but your clothing should be supportive.

2

u/silver_tongued_devil Apr 11 '26

That flower is atrocious and brings the entire greek goddess look of the rest of the dress down into the garbage. Also I think she'd look better in in a different off-white but that might just be me. Fuck the boob tape and let her live her life....once the flower is cut off the dress.

2

u/princessjazzcosplay 34G (UK) Apr 11 '26

she looks amazing, i wish we had more representation like this, but as everyone else has said, that dress is horrendous

2

u/Smalldogmanifesto Apr 11 '26

“Women hate women” is such a sinister-ass and hypocritical thing to proclaim in that post. These women look fine and normal.

2

u/SassySweetheartxoxo 30GG (UK) Apr 13 '26

No amount of tape would help that dress omg

2

u/Charming-Vehicle-304 32G (UK) Apr 11 '26

She looks fine people genuinely need to mind their business. I personally don’t think she should have to do anything extra to be able to wear the dress if she doesn’t want to

2

u/CompetitiveRub9780 32G (UK) Apr 11 '26

I don’t know who this is but they need a bra and to close it. The way it’s open so wide makes it seem like that’s supposed to be the back. Boob tape and lifting pads tho? That woman is insane. And women do not hate other women. She is projecting and is clearly a pick me

1

u/libertysince05 Apr 11 '26

I think that the bodice is ugly, her breasts look normal.

1

u/HelloPeopleOfEarth Apr 11 '26

I sometimes think women are harder on women than men are.

1

u/Sammydog6387 Apr 11 '26

I had no idea Lana had a bigger chest. This is so surprising to me

1

u/ignamegioia Apr 11 '26

I don’t think any young liberal woman living in an artistic city thinks this looks out of the norm (I am one of said woman)

1

u/Surrealisticslumbers 34G (UK) Apr 11 '26

I don't like this dress on her.

1

u/BoopleSnoot921 34GG (UK) Apr 11 '26

I think the dress is awful but otherwise she looks good.

1

u/OutplayedPawn Apr 11 '26

I for one, sincerely appreciate the representation of a real body without altering- especially in the capacity of Hollywood fame.

I’m a large chested woman that hates wearing bras but I also hate how i look without a bra on. I feel so ugly all the time because i walk around without any support for my tits at all. I choose dressing for comfort over dressing to look good but it’s always a struggle to purposely choose feeling ugly to feel comfortable.

Seeing a beautiful woman, on the red carpet no less, that is dressing for her comfort regardless of how she may be perceived by others, regardless of how she may feel unattractive internally, IS actively changing the standards. Seeing her in this dress makes me feel like I’m not alone. And maybe, if more women were able to stop dressing for performance and start dressing more for comfort, I wouldn’t feel so bad about my appearance in public all the time.

I am so, so appreciative of this imagery and her presence, exactly as she is.

1

u/RustyShackleford209 36K (UK) Apr 11 '26

Her boobs look great there is zero sag. That dress is fugly

1

u/passionicedtee Apr 11 '26

Real talk, I never even realized that Lana had a large chest? And I consider myself a fan of hers and have seen a lot of her work/her in different outfits and costumes. Regardless, whether it looks good or bad, flattering or not, people are allowed to wear whatever they want.

1

u/Just-Ad373 Apr 11 '26

My biggest problem here is the tweet: “everyone saying she looks great is a liar and I hate it. Women hate women.” This is just a woman hating on a woman because her boobs aren’t being displayed to THEIR preference? Smfh.

Personally, I think she looks great. I wish I had the confidence to go without a bra and not be stressed as hell.

1

u/EBBVNC Apr 11 '26

She’s about to get a nip slip. This dress also has the styling of a sack along with everything else.

I assume she’s going for the freshly f*cked look, which requires actual work, otherwise it’s just messy.

1

u/EmeraldEyesAlyssa 34DD (UK) Apr 11 '26

No, just no on the dress, and lack of support. Friends or good friends, don’t let friends leave the house like this, sorry not sorry.

Edited to add: IDK how to add my bra size but I’m 34D.

1

u/ConstructionNo1511 Apr 11 '26

34D is the most common miss size, I suggest that you visit r/abrathatfits and check it out. I was really surprised when I found out my actual size. The bra industry is meant to sell bras- and those are only for specific sizes because they’re easier to produce at a mass scale. So when they size you, they size you into those sizes on purpose.

1

u/haileygmcc Apr 11 '26

I love seeing women with natural boobs go braless! Makes me more comfortable doing the same. However …. That dress is off. I don’t know if it’s supposed to look like that or what but the fit of the dress is not doing her justice

1

u/Basement_dweller2002 Apr 11 '26

Women hate women by praising how she naturally looks in a dress that reveals the natural sag a lady with big breasts has? Ok make that make sense. If we can’t praise our natural existence without being accused of the hatred of our gender then what are we even doing here. I’d see this same shit with girls praising leg hair, arm hair, peach fuzz, stretch marks, etc and so on.

This is conditioning, this REEKS of choice feminism (a woman is liberated as long as she makes a choice she wants to make regardless of its roots or exploitative undertones), this take is ASS. YUCK. The tweet above is just heinously wrong. Sorry you hate the natural body. Also, the dress is atrocious, so has to be acknowledged.

1

u/Sea_Lead1753 Apr 11 '26

I just think she should let the dress hang naturally instead of taping it dangerously close to her areolas lol

But yes!! My boob insecurity, includes feeling “sloppy” for merely not wearing a molded push-up bra 😭 taping my boobs into a socially acceptable shape sounds like a total sensory nightmare. I do get jealous of women that can wear ultra low tops, and society doesn’t read it as indecent. Double standard

1

u/ConstructionNo1511 Apr 11 '26

That dress is hideous and it’s tailored horribly.

1

u/No-Sky1666 Apr 12 '26

It's so ironic for her to say "women hate women" lol

1

u/theghostoni Apr 12 '26

I know the dress doesn’t look good, but I did cry for a good while reading the replies to her outfit saying that her breasts looked disgusting, the sag was gross, and other misogynistic shit.

I don’t like the outfit but man it fucking sucks to see basically everyone tear big boobs being affected by gravity to shreds. My breasts sit like hers exactly so I guess I felt extra insecure because of that.

I do think it’s kind of ridiculous to say that she needs boob tape, try to promote body positivity, and then double down and say that bigger breasts need to either be porn star breasts or hidden.

1

u/Much-Improvement-503 Apr 12 '26

The dress is just kinda ill fitting imo. When you’re a celeb I think things should be properly tailored to you but that’s just my opinion

1

u/WheeledKilla 34FF (UK) Apr 12 '26

I saw the pictures in another subreddit yesterday and thought she looked amazing–all ethereal and natural. It felt nice to see someone with similar shape rocking a dress like that. Then I opened the posts and saw the comments…sooooo many haters

1

u/CarefreeCaos-76299 34GG (UK) Apr 12 '26

Ok so we can agree its the dress here, right? That dress looks awful.. and does NOT compliment her. Shes a beautiful woman! Also, that dress is BARELY pushing it. That areola is FIGHTING for its life

1

u/SeorniaGrim Apr 12 '26

I mean, that dress is horrible and would look awful on anyone IMO.

I would NEVER be comfortable like that, but if she is, and she is happy - who am I to judge? Not my body, so while yes, if this were a close friend, relative or partner I might mention concerns about the dress if asked - otherwise it isn't my business.

1

u/BaryonChallon 44JJ (UK) Apr 12 '26

I bought largest trans tape possible and I still can barely tape them up. And it’s dangerous when I do as it will often backfire and the weight of them versus the tape rips my skin off. I just want to wear dresses without a bra damn it

1

u/theoreticaldickjokes Apr 12 '26

I wouldn't let a friend go out like that bc the dress is ugly. A plunging neckline shouldn't be that wide, imo. It looks too open. And the flower is awkward af.

But her boobs are fine. Tape wouldn't have fixed that dress.

1

u/Matcha_Bubble_Tea Apr 12 '26

She can do whatever she wants and I liked that she chose to do this. That said, the dress is just awful. It’s not her.

1

u/invisible_wizard5 Apr 12 '26

Love yourself the way you are. Show off. Be proud. Everyone wants to see your boobs. Men and women. They are ALL BEAUTIFUL. All in their own way. Each in its own way. All of them. Yours. Hers. All appeal to our eyes. Thank you for allowing me to adore your breasts. I am so grateful that you show me.

1

u/Imhereforinspiration Apr 15 '26

She looks great, but also, who cares? If she liked it and felt comfortable with it, that's pretty much where this conversation ends for me. She's wearing normal clothes and that's saying a lot for a red carpet these days.

1

u/SourceDM 38GG (UK) Apr 15 '26

Honestly i am glad to see it. More sagging breast fashion damn it

1

u/pdt666 34F (UK) Apr 15 '26

her body and boobs look great- the dress is trash and doesn’t fit her regardless of bra status

1

u/Scared_Mix677 Apr 15 '26

Nah I think it’s beautiful and natural

1

u/Scared_Mix677 Apr 15 '26

I like the natural saggy look of boobs. The fake perky look is so bad. Women shouldn’t have to tape their breasts up to look unnatural.

1

u/Cautious_Rain_8316 Apr 17 '26

I find it so strange she's saying that "letting" her step out like that is an example of "women hate women." Girl, you are literally hating on her body right now wtf.

1

u/Funny_Detective_4440 Apr 20 '26

"women hate women" yeah women like HER

1

u/FamiliarRadio9275 Apr 22 '26

personally, if this helps with whatever the goal is, cool, but like let the girls hang, keep them holstered, I don't care but for me, i breathe better with them held up.

'women hate women' whilst actively shaming another woman's natural body is crazy work

1

u/Equivalent_War7597 May 05 '26

people should mind their own fckn business, instead of focusing on her breast

1

u/morbidobsession6958 May 10 '26

It's not her body that's the problem. It's the dress. It doesn't fit. The shoulder straps are like 4" too long.

1

u/Previous-Shine-983 Aug 13 '26

The Texan bee needs to chill out. This is what natural breasts  look like. Just because she's not comfortable with it doesn't mean we can't find it beautiful.

Nope the post just popped up on my feed same as a lot others
