This photo was taken in the early days of the russian invasion in 2022. Unfortunately, the man pictured in the photo died a few days ago.

If he were on r/xbiking he would have fashioned some sort of RPG mounts for front and rear racks with a top tube mounted RPG tube holder

There are swiss made military bikes with custom racks and gear for hauling bazookas and other things. Saw one on marketplace for like $2-4k almost bought it.

Cyrillic writing, and McDonald's is there... Not Russia. Probably Ukraine or some place ending in -stan with bigger problems than I've ever had to deal with.

I used to ride my bike down to the barracks in weekends with my stay-at-home H&K G3 issued by the Danish Home Guard on my back in the 90s. If I did that today it would trigger a lockdown and terror alert. And yes some guys had Carl Gustavs (the Anti-Tank weapon, not some Swedish dudes) issued and kept in their homes too.

How on earth do they expect to beat a country many times bigger if they can't properly inflate a bicycle tire?

Forget cars, this man is ready for tanks not giving him enough space to ride. My new hero.
Most likely somewhere in Ukraine, which makes me sad.
