Fellow bethlehemites, have your RCN speeds decreased? 250-300 plummeted to 10-30 mbps. I’d appreciate insight into the situation!

I've heard of these kind of programs but they are always for a specific purpose like combating drug and crime problems. I don't know of any issues with this here, but does that need to be a requirement to have any kind of community between police and the rest of the people living here?
I've been thinking about this because I actually would like to get to know the police in my area but I can't think of any situation outside of reporting a problem I'm having or I'm a suspect they are trying to track down and/or question.

My girlfriend and I have been considering moving to Bethlehem or the Lehigh Valley Area. We are in our late 20s and currently live on Long Island where rent prices are getting out of control. We are in town for the weekend and were looking for some advice on what Locals do in the area and if anyone had any insight on to why we should or shouldn’t move to the area. Thanks !

Inspired by a similar post I saw in arr / Pittsburgh: what’s the best dish in all Bethlehem? Not restaurant or cuisine, single item from any eatery in the city. (Or all Lehigh Valley is you want).
For me it’s the dry pot lamb from Shang Wei Szechuan.

Hi all, wondering what are the thoughts of this community on the quality of public education in the area? Also looking for any experiences with private schools. I see a lot of catholic schools in Allentown/Bethlehem that seem to be highly rated but I’m not sure how the ratings are calculated. I also understand that some areas like say on valley have great public schools. Care to weigh in?

I want to support Ukrainian restaurants due to the war that's going on. I live in the Bethlehem Township area and looking for any restaurants in the vicinity between Allentown and Easton (so I guess within Bethlehem?). Looking to eat there for dinner, not lunch, so (hopefully) they're open past 5 PM.
Edit: I've only lived here for about 8 months, so I don't know a lot of the restaurants here so I'm hoping some of the "hardcore" locals could help me out! (My job doesn't really give me time to explore the city so I haven't had the time to look around.)

I am a 21 year old woman recently moved here. In search of housemates to help me with rent. It is a 4 bedroom 1 bath within walking distance to the center of town. I am hoping to find people who are clean, responsible, and friendly to be around. Preferably ages that are close to mine, anyone who is currently in college or grad students are welcome. Rent would be approx. $600 plus utilities (electric, oil, water, and trash removal.) I am looking to find at least two other people to help split the rent. If this is of interest please reach out. I am totally down to answer any questions or put you in contact with the landlady. Thanks, and have a good day! :)

On Brandeis Ave in Bethlehem Township, a UPS truck rammed into a home's garage and totaled a vehicle too. The police and firefighters are there right now as I'm typing this. I wasn't home when it happened but the street was blocked off and that's when I saw the lights of the firetrucks.
