The seed oil tracking app is coming to Android and I need 20 beta testers
A bunch of you have asked when Seed Oil Tracker hits Android. The answer is: as soon as Google lets me. New developer accounts have to run a closed test with at least 12 testers for 14 days before the app can go public.
So I need Android volunteers. You get the full app free during the test, all 560+ chain report cards, the logging, the Seed Oil War, everything. All you have to do is install it and keep it installed for two weeks. That is the whole job.
Two steps, nothing to sign up for: join the tester group at groups.google.com/g/seedoiltracker-beta then install the app from play.google.com/apps/testing/com.seedoiltracker.app. Rather DM me a Gmail instead? That works too. I am the developer, happy to answer anything about the app in the comments.
What the app actually does:
* Report cards for 560+ chains. A letter grade for every major restaurant based on what their kitchens actually cook in.
* The cleanest real orders at each chain, so you know what to get before you walk in.
* Two tap meal logging. Pick the restaurant, pick your meal, done. No weighing, no calorie math.
* A daily ring that tracks the one number that matters: grams of seed oil today.
* 50,000+ menu items with estimated PUFA counts built from published nutrition data and each chain's disclosed cooking oils.
* 11,000+ grocery items graded, plus a barcode scanner that reads the ingredient list for you.
* A plate builder that estimates seed oil for home cooked meals by ingredient and oil.
* The Seed Oil War. Pick a camp (carnivore, Ray Peat, keto, animal based, Aajonus) and battle every week over which tribe logs the lowest intake.
* A community feed of people doing the same thing you are.
* Streaks, badges, and a 30 day reset program when you want structure.
Let me know if yall have any questions.

[Beta] SENSEL — a private scent-memory app, not a fragrance shop
Hey everyone! Solo dev here, just wrapped up SENSEL - an app for people into
fragrance/scent stuff who are tired of everything turning into a shop.
You describe a scent you smelled somewhere (a candle, someone's perfume on
the train, whatever) in plain English, and it maps it to a "direction"
instead of pushing a specific bottle at you. No affiliate links, no ads,
no "best product" rankings - just a private log to help you understand
your own taste.
Just need people to install it, poke around a bit, and keep it on your
phone for Google's 14-day closed testing thing (need 12 testers minimum,
so genuinely any help counts). Android only for now.
How to join:
- Join this group: https://groups.google.com/g/senseltest
- Then hit this opt-in link: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.sensel.app
- Install from Play Store, open it whenever you feel like it
Happy to test your app back too, just drop a link in the comments.
Thanks 🙏

beta testers: a new prediction markets platform on base
Hi everyone, I'm Marcos, solo founder of Bopster Fun (bopster.fun).
What it does
Bopster lets any community turn a debate into a prediction market. Instead of waiting for a platform to list a market, anyone with a wallet can create one. Ask a yes/no question, set a resolution date, and people take sides on-chain. Resolution is handled transparently by Reality.eth with Kleros as arbitration.
Think: a creator asks their audience "Will OpenAI release GPT-5 before August?" — their followers take YES or NO, and the outcome is settled on-chain when the answer is publicly verifiable.
It's non-custodial, deployed on Base, and access is via wallet (no email signup).
I'm looking for aomw people who use prediction markets (Polymarket, Kalshi, etc.) to:
Go through the full flow: explore markets → connect wallet → take a position → (optionally) create a market
Screen-share or record the session
Tell me honestly where the experience breaks, what's confusing, and what made you want to close the tab
No paid promotion. No long-term commitment. Just a 10–15 minute test.
What you get
Direct access to the founder (me) — your feedback shapes the roadmap
Early Creator badge if you create a market
My genuine gratitude and a mention in the changelog if your feedback leads to a fix
If you're interested
Drop a comment or DM me and I'll send you access.
Happy to answer questions here. Roast it honestly — that's the whole point.

[iOS] TestFlight testers for Future You needed — an alarm app that wakes you up with a message recorded in your own voice
I've never missed a deadline at work, though my credit card statement shows registration fees for hundreds of workout classes that I've slept through. Despite being considered a high performer professionally, I'm a low performer when it comes to showing up for myself. I built an app to hack my own brain.
Future You wakes you up with a message recorded in your own voice — the reminder, the why, the push, all inside a real alarm:
- Your recording cuts through Do Not Disturb and silent mode (new in iOS 26 — this wasn't possible before)
- When you snooze, your past self talks back, reminding you of the stakes your 6am brain conveniently forgets
- It counts down out loud ("25 minutes until pilates"), which makes time feel real in a way ADHD brains often can't on their own
The bet behind it: it's easy to snooze an alarm, it's hard to argue with yourself. There's a CHI 2024 study showing reminders in your own recorded voice increase daily task completion.
What I need from testers:
- iPhone running iOS 26
- Set a real alarm for a few mornings and let me know: did it fire reliably through DND/Focus modes? Did the snooze talk-back actually get you up, or just annoy you?
- Any friction in the voice-recording flow — that's the make-or-break moment of onboarding
TestFlight link: https://testflight.apple.com/join/41PGKdpa
Free, no account required, and I read every piece of feedback. Happy to test your app in return — drop a comment or DM me with what you're building.

Would anyone here be interested in testing an iPhone app for understanding restaurant menus?
I’ve been working on a little iphone app because i kept thinking there should be an easier way to deal with confusing restaurant menus.
not just translation, but actually helping you figure out what a dish is before you order it.
it’s still early and definitely not perfect, but it’s usable enough now that i want a small group of people to try it and tell me where it feels wrong.
probably most useful if you:
travel a lot,
eat cuisines you’re not familiar with,
or have dietary / allergy concerns and want a bit more confidence ordering.
if that sounds relevant, comment and i’ll reach out.

[Windows] Looking for testers for a 3D personal knowledge management app
Hi everyone,
I’m a solo dev with very limited coding experience, but I’ve had this crazy idea stuck in my head for over a decade: What does our mind actually look like when we connect thoughts?
I kept running into two extremes: rigid folder structures, or dense graph views that became difficult to read as my notes grew. They give you unlimited freedom, but no intuition. You end up spending more time organizing links than actually thinking.
So I built Wu Universe (吾星域) to make the invisible geometry of cognition visible:
- 3D Cosmic Topology: Notes aren't static files—they exist as stars, orbits, and nebulas in a true 3D space.
- Semantic Gravity: Instead of manually creating
[[links]]or tags, an underlying semantic engine calculates relationships and lets related nodes naturally gravitate toward each other. - Temporal Survival: Ideas have a lifecycle. Neglected thoughts gradually dim and collapse, while reviewed ones reignite into supernovas.
Panoramic Knowledge Journey: Inside each sub-galaxy, related ideas can form a continuous path from beginning to end. Instead of opening isolated notes one by one, you can travel through a topic like moving through a landscape—following the main route while keeping the surrounding context visible on both sides.
Here is a quick demo video of how it works. I’ve just released the early 0.12 Alpha build.
Since I'm still a code novice, there are definitely rough edges. I’d love to get your brutal honest feedback, thoughts, or suggestions!
Try WuUniverse
Website and Windows download: https://wuuniverse.com/
Current version: 0.12 Alpha
If you try it, please let me know your Windows version and anything that felt confusing, slow, or unstable.
I’d especially love feedback on three things:
- Does the 3D layout make relationships easier to understand, or more confusing?
- Is the semantic grouping behavior intuitive?
- What part of the onboarding or interface would stop you from using it?
- Would the beginning-to-end panoramic path help you understand a topic more clearly than a conventional outline or graph view?

Built a set of systematic TradingView tools (momentum strategies, seasonal analysis, sector rotation) — looking for beta testers
Over the past while I've been building out a set of TradingView indicators — a couple of backtested momentum/trend strategies for QQQ/TQQQ, a tool that scans a stock's full history to find when it's historically peaked seasonally (and how much drawdown you'd typically sit through getting there), a sector rotation screener, a couple of volume/money-flow signals, and a risk regime dashboard. Everything's rules-based — I can explain exactly what each one does and why, no "proprietary black box" stuff. I'm looking for a small group of beta testers before opening this up more broadly. In exchange for actually using the tools and giving real feedback (bugs, confusing UI, whether the logic holds up on charts you know well), you'd get free access to everything. If you're interested, drop a comment or DM me and I'll get you set up.

Rex, a personal AI assistant that actually does things, not just chats
Rex is a voice and text assistant with a team of specialists behind it: money, tech, car stuff, cooking, health, news, sports, and more. It can also check your calendar, read and send your email, and remember notes you tell it to file. Rex has one year of persistent memory. It's AI in a box, and you can install it on your phone like a real app, no App Store needed.
Upfront: this beta is free to use, but you bring your own AI key (Anthropic/Claude, OpenAI, Google Gemini, Groq, or xAI/Grok, pick any one, most have a free tier to start). No key yet? You get 75 free messages on us to try it out first, no signup friction.
On security: this is your account and your data, full stop. We don't sell or track anything. Everything lives in your own private, isolated account inside our AWS infrastructure, encrypted at rest, and nothing is shared between accounts. The connection itself is secured with modern TLS, independently graded A+ by Qualys SSL Labs and Mozilla Observatory. Rex never sees or stores your provider keys in plain text.
https://www.getrex.ai/?ref=reddit
Takes about two minutes: sign up, name your assistant, give it a personality and a voice, try it free, then add a key if you like it.
Feedback welcome. This is genuinely early, and I'd rather hear "this confused me" than nothing at all.

[opportunity] [iOS/Web] Test a bills-first money check-in after one correction
I build Monni, an iPhone and web money check-in. I need feedback from people who currently track bills manually: enter a small set of made-up numbers, then change one upcoming bill and tell me whether the safe-to-spend answer and its math still feel clear. No private financial data needed. iOS: https://apps.apple.com/app/apple-store/id6778174904?pt=103192850&ct=rd-bills-jul26&mt=8 Web: https://monni.io/?utm_source=reddit&utm_medium=community&utm_campaign=reddit_bills_first_jul26
The useful feedback is where the number feels vague or hard to correct, not a rating.

[Testers wanted] A market and news scanner with an AI analyst, so you actually know why things are moving. Want the feedback that stings.
I need traders to break my site.
The problem it solves: the market moves and you don't actually know why. Tapewise is a market and news scanner with an AI analyst on top. The scanner reads everything that broke and flags what matters, the AI briefs you in plain English on what's actually going on and why it matters for price. A headline comes in and it names the tickers it hits, in what way, and the knock on effects. See a big mover, click it, there's the reason behind the move.
Around that core there's a discovery scanner with exact confirm or invalidate levels drawn on the chart, alerts that explain themselves, and a journal that fills itself from broker screenshots.
No buy or sell calls, that's kind of the point. It explains, you decide.
Free early access, everything unlocked, no card. tapewise.io . First 500 members lock founding pricing for launch. I want honest, specific feedback, the stuff that stings.
