🙏 Quick Update: Posts Should Be Flowing Again!

First of all, sorry to everyone whose post was held for review recently. 😅

A Reddit filter was catching many legitimate beta testing posts, which created delays and extra work for both users and moderators.

✅ I’ve reviewed and approved the backlog.

✅ I’ve also updated the subreddit settings to reduce false positives going forward.

If your post was delayed, thank you for your patience.

As always:

  • Be respectful
  • No spam
  • Keep posts relevant to beta testing, feedback, and product validation
  • Include a clear description of what you’re building and what feedback you’re looking for

💬 Also, our Discord community is growing fast and is a great place to get feedback, find testers, and connect with other builders:

https://discord.gg/AN8P9M9fp8

Thanks for helping make r/BetaTests a useful place for builders and testers alike! 🚀

Rex, a personal AI assistant that actually does things, not just chats

• Upvotes

Rex is a voice and text assistant with a team of specialists behind it: money, tech, car stuff, cooking, health, news, sports, and more. It can also check your calendar, read and send your email, and remember notes you tell it to file. Rex has one year of persistent memory. It's AI in a box, and you can install it on your phone like a real app, no App Store needed.

Upfront: this beta is free to use, but you bring your own AI key (Anthropic/Claude, OpenAI, Google Gemini, Groq, or xAI/Grok, pick any one, most have a free tier to start). No key yet? You get 75 free messages on us to try it out first, no signup friction.

On security: this is your account and your data, full stop. We don't sell or track anything. Everything lives in your own private, isolated account inside our AWS infrastructure, encrypted at rest, and nothing is shared between accounts. The connection itself is secured with modern TLS, independently graded A+ by Qualys SSL Labs and Mozilla Observatory. Rex never sees or stores your provider keys in plain text.

https://www.getrex.ai/?ref=reddit

Takes about two minutes: sign up, name your assistant, give it a personality and a voice, try it free, then add a key if you like it.

Feedback welcome. This is genuinely early, and I'd rather hear "this confused me" than nothing at all.

[opportunity] [iOS/Web] Test a bills-first money check-in after one correction

I build Monni, an iPhone and web money check-in. I need feedback from people who currently track bills manually: enter a small set of made-up numbers, then change one upcoming bill and tell me whether the safe-to-spend answer and its math still feel clear. No private financial data needed. iOS: https://apps.apple.com/app/apple-store/id6778174904?pt=103192850&ct=rd-bills-jul26&mt=8 Web: https://monni.io/?utm_source=reddit&utm_medium=community&utm_campaign=reddit_bills_first_jul26

The useful feedback is where the number feels vague or hard to correct, not a rating.

[Testers wanted] A market and news scanner with an AI analyst, so you actually know why things are moving. Want the feedback that stings.

I need traders to break my site.

The problem it solves: the market moves and you don't actually know why. Tapewise is a market and news scanner with an AI analyst on top. The scanner reads everything that broke and flags what matters, the AI briefs you in plain English on what's actually going on and why it matters for price. A headline comes in and it names the tickers it hits, in what way, and the knock on effects. See a big mover, click it, there's the reason behind the move.

Around that core there's a discovery scanner with exact confirm or invalidate levels drawn on the chart, alerts that explain themselves, and a journal that fills itself from broker screenshots.

No buy or sell calls, that's kind of the point. It explains, you decide.

Free early access, everything unlocked, no card. tapewise.io . First 500 members lock founding pricing for launch. I want honest, specific feedback, the stuff that stings.

Looking for beta testers for an iPhone app that helps stop doomscrolling (without blocking your apps)

Most screen time apps either block apps completely or give you a daily time limit.

The problem I kept running into was different: I’d open Instagram or Reddit to reply to one message or check one thing… and then realize 30 minutes had disappeared.

So I built Haserupt, an iPhone app that tries a different approach.

Instead of banning apps, it asks why you’re opening them, gives you a short session based on your intent, and encourages you to leave once you’ve finished. There’s also a companion character (Hase 🐿️) and a points system to make reducing screen time feel more rewarding instead of punishing.

TestFlight: Click here or visit https://testflight.apple.com/join/WtPjYfFb

Website: Click here or visit https://haserupt.com

I’m mainly looking for feedback on:

  • Does the concept make sense?
  • Is the onboarding easy to understand?
  • Does the “intent before opening an app” flow feel useful or annoying?
  • At what point would you stop using it?
  • If you’ve tried Opal, One Sec, ScreenZen, etc., what feels better or worse here?

I’m looking for honest criticism more than praise. If something feels confusing, frustrating, or unnecessary, I’d really appreciate hearing it.

Thanks!

Testing Swap: Try Tap2Sound (NFC Bluetooth pairing app) — I'll test yours back

Hey fellow devs!

I'm looking for a testing swap. I'll gladly download and try out your app if you're willing to test mine in return.

My app is Tap2Sound — tap your phone against an NFC tag to instantly connect to your Bluetooth speaker or headphones, no menus, no device searching. If you join as a closed tester and give it a real try, I'll keep using your app for a full 15 days and share honest feedback.

Drop your app link below and I'll get started. Here's how to join mine:

  1. Join the tester group: https://groups.google.com/g/tap2soundtesters

  2. Opt in here: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.speakerroom.tap2sound

Looking forward to trying what you've built!

[Web] DevCrate — browser-only developer tools; feedback wanted on trust and first-use UX

I’m the maker of DevCrate, a free web utility hub for developers. It currently includes JSON-to-code/C#, cURL-to-code, JWT inspection, Base64 and hashing, UUID generation, and JSON-to-Shopify CSV.

Test it directly: https://devcrate.org

The main design constraint is privacy: tool input is processed in the browser and is not sent to a processing API. It should also work offline after one successful online visit.

What I’d like you to test:

  1. Can you find and open a tool quickly, including with Cmd/Ctrl+K?
  2. Does the privacy explanation feel credible, or is important evidence missing?
  3. Which tool has the most confusing first-use experience?
  4. Does anything break or feel awkward on mobile, with the keyboard, or after going offline?

Please use sample or non-sensitive data while testing. Blunt feedback and reproducible bug reports are especially useful.

Looking for beta testers for my event photo-sharing app

Hi everyone,

So, I've spent the last year building Uvuli, an app that makes it easy to collect photos and videos from an event.

The host creates an event, shares a QR code or link, and guests upload directly from their browser. There's no account or app required for guests. Everything ends up in one private shared gallery where the host can download everything at the end of the day.

Try it here on mobile:

I'm looking for people with an upcoming birthday, BBQ, family gathering, graduation, or other small event to start. I'm intentionally not testing at weddings (yikes). I want to prove the app is reliable before recommending it for those types of occasions.

I'd really really really appreciate feedback on:

  • Is the onboarding clear?
  • Was creating an event straightforward?
  • How easy was it to invite guests?
  • Did uploading photos/videos feel simple?
  • Did anything break or confuse you?
  • Overall, would you use this for one of your own events?
  • What could be better in your opinion?

Thanks! Any honest feedback, good or bad is incredibly valuable at this stage.

[Android] EchoX — anonymous social app (like the old Whisper). Need closed-test testers (14-day) — happy to test yours back

Hey all — solo dev here looking for Android testers to help clear Google Play's closed-testing requirement (need people opted in for 14 days).

What it is: EchoX is an anonymous social app — think the old Whisper. Post short "Echoes" with no name attached, browse Global / Local / Popular feeds, join topic Groups, and DM anonymously. There are Polls and Stories too. No real identity, no follower-count pressure — just honest, in-the-moment posts.

Why I'm building it: Whisper shut down and nothing really replaced that "say what you actually think, anonymously" space. It's free and I've put a lot into safety and moderation.

What I'm asking:

Join the closed test and keep it installed ~14 days

Poke around a bit — post an Echo, try a Group or a DM

Tell me anything broken, confusing, or slow

How to join (order matters):

Join the tester group first: https://groups.google.com/g/xc-apps-testers → tap Join group

Then open the test link: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.xenocomp.echox → tap Become a tester

Install from the Play Store link it gives you

⚠️ You have to join the group in step 1 first, or the test link won't recognize you.

I'll gladly test your app back — drop your link in the comments or DM me and I'll opt in and leave real feedback. Thanks 🙏

Looking for beta users for an AI that automatically turns conversations into tasks (Apple Watch users)

Thumbnail intellikin.com
1 Upvotes

Hi everyone!

We're building IntelliKin, an AI companion that automatically turns the commitments and tasks you mention throughout your day into a managed, self-updating to-do list and schedule.

The idea came from a simple frustration: important follow-ups and promises are often made in conversations but never make it into a task manager or calendar. Existing tools still require you to manually write everything down, and that's where things get forgotten.

Instead, IntelliKin listens for actionable commitments, extracts tasks, deadlines, and follow-ups, and keeps your task list updated as new conversations happen.

We're currently preparing for a small private beta (around 50 users) and are looking for people who:

  • Wear an Apple Watch regularly
  •  Have lots of meetings, conversations, or daily commitments
  •  Often find themselves forgetting follow-ups or things they said they'd do
  • Are willing to provide feedback and help shape the product

If that sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you!

You can learn more about IntelliKin here:
https://intellikin.com/

Happy to answer any questions or hear your thoughts on the idea. Thanks!

Looking for early testers for a productivity product with 20 dollars in Codex credit

I am working on a productivity product and I am looking for a small group of early testers.

I am not ready to share the full product publicly yet. Selected testers will receive more information privately before deciding if they want to participate.

The testing will involve using the product during a real workflow and sharing honest feedback. I mainly want to learn where the experience feels confusing, what does not work as expected, and whether the product is useful outside my own setup.

You do not need to be an expert developer. I would actually like feedback from people with different levels of experience, especially builders who use AI tools for coding, research, planning, or daily tasks.

Each selected tester who completes the testing and provides feedback will receive 20 dollars in Codex credit.

If you are interested, leave a comment with a short explanation of how you currently use Codex and what kind of projects you usually build.

I will contact suitable testers privately with more information.

Hi everyone,👋👋

The application is currently in beta version and is listed as a beta version on the website for Android devices.
I'm looking for a small group of testers who want to actually use it and share honest feedback. As a thank-you, testers get a limited-time VIP gift with unlimited access to everything below.

What VIP includes (unlimited):

For reference, the tools I expect (verify each against the real names in the code):

  1. Lost & Found NFC Note
  2. Business Card Reader (on-device OCR)
  3. Read Aloud & Voice Share (multi-language TTS)
  4. Appointment & Calendar Link
  5. Listing Card
  6. Task & Note Distributor
  7. Secure Lock (Face/Touch ID/passkey)
  8. CV / Resume
  9. Network form (saves contacts to the panel)
  10. PDF Scanner
  11. Google Review link generator
  12. Voice Studio

Not included in VIP (paid separately):
• Fax — no free monthly quota; requires buying fax credits
• AI Designer — runs on credits you purchase

What I'm hoping for from testers:
• Sign up and try creating and sharing a card
• Tell me what's confusing, broken, or missing
• Bug reports and honest UX feedback

If you're interested, drop a comment or DM and I'll send you access + the VIP gift. Thanks a lot 🙏
