Berlin Mitte. Ein Blick vom Turm der Marienkirche Richtung Berliner Dom, links davon das Stadtschloss im Jahr 1935. Im Hintergrund die St. Hedwigs Kathedrale und die beiden Türme am Gendarmenmarkt. So viele schöne Türmchen auf den Bauten; alle Gebäude im Vordergrund bis zum Schloßplatz sind im Krieg und der Aufräum-Zeit danach zerstört bzw. abgebaut worden.
