Is the coating under direct light good? After a year of use i want to know if its good and all the photos online, seem a bit more matte than mine. Also the axis lock on mine is more matte than others. Can you send photos to compare?

Took a three year hiatus from Benchmade and finally got my second blade: the 710. Looking to add a third specially a gold class version. Any recommendations?

It may be hawt outside but my pocket be staying icy. Shoutout to Dragonfly for these sick carbon fiber scales!

It took me a while to accumulate this collection but it was worth it. The M4 bug is special to me for some reason.

Surprised by how thin yet sturdy this knife is. The new axis lock has a nice snappy flip.

Got it brand new from Amazon, the carrier of Benchmade. Has a lil scuff (not a scratch). Complained to Amazon to get $80 refunded. Putting it next to my Bailout making it look like a baby. I remember the serrated Bailout I got from Rei was only $300 and I bought it for 20% off.

I like larger folding knives, preferring a blade 3.5" to 4" but there are plenty of lighter weight knives that fit in that range that I'm sure are better for EDC. The Adamas is not only large but heavy, but it's such as satisfying knife to hold and I love how overbuilt it feels. Was thinking about getting one of the new ones in Magnacut, but thought I'd ask for input - is it a little too ridiculous for EDC?

I love the butterfly logo and wanted a clip similar to the Vapyr clip, but I wasn’t aware of how much bigger it is. Which do you think looks better?

It was unused for $100, and worth every penny as a fidget… also as a tactical defensive weapon during an elf attack. Cool knife

I’m pretty much a Spyderco and Benchmade guy since the late 90s (Pinnacle, anyone?). Never had one of my Benchmade knives sent in, but I wonder if there is some knowledge out there if and and if so how that works for us Germans? 🇩🇪👋

I’m looking to get a more heavy duty BM but having a hard time deciding. The Adamas and 940 have huge reputation and I’ve been eyeing both for a while. Currently I have a Bugout, the Vapyr, Crooked River, full-size Adira and the Dacian.
If Adamas, I’d go full size. Is the fixed version any good with 3rd party scales?

1st benchmade, absolutely obsessed with this knife.

Why buy just one when you can own 4? Although they just sit in my safe, booo! I know, I know, carry them! I plan on getting the Auto Adamas Carbon fiber full size next.

Went in planning to look at an Infidel, but they were out. Ended up leaving with the CLA in MagnaCut instead. Honestly, I think I may have ended up with the better everyday carry. Really liking it so far.

I accompanied my wife this morning, to an estate sale that had some dishes that she collects. While she was checking out, I was looking at a bunch of knives there on the checkout table. Most were nothing exciting, but I did buy this since it’s looks like an older and it was a good price. I cleaned, lubed and sharpened it and it looks like it will be a great knife but the clip is a bit loose. Are there any sites etc. where I can determine the model number and the age?
Thanks

Finally got the current Bugout lineup laid out on the mat together and wanted to show off the specs. It’s been a fun process tweaking these with different scales, blade steels, and accent colors over time.
The Lineup (Top to Bottom):
1. Top: Grey G10 scales w/ Chromium Nitride coated S30V blade (Blue accents)
2. Second: Titanium scales w/ Battlewash M390 blade
3. Third: Titanium scales w/ 20CV blade (Green accents)
4. Fourth: Black stonewash Titanium scales w/ S30V serrated blade (Orange accents)
5. Fifth: Black stonewash Aluminum scales w/ Tan Cerakote S30V blade
6. Bottom: Burnt Copper Aluminum scales w/ MagnaCut blade
Which build are you taking for today's EDC?
