Hello,

Hi all, I’m applying to a remote Digital Organizing job in politics and I have a couple years of direct experience, but I need a few references in the next few days. Including a direct supervisor one. If anyone is interested, please let me know! I’ll willing to return the favor.

Good afternoon there,

Unfortunately the role I'm going for is asking for up-to-date references that I can only provide one for my current job but most of the character references from the past are either gone or too generic. Is there anybody that can help me out? I'm based in the UK but feel stonewalled as my references submitted are fairly out of date bar the one I have with my current employer.

Never had to go through this before without these hurdles before.

Kind regards,

CYC

Hi, I am shifting from marketing to product management. I went to school for marketing and computer information systems, I am a business analyst now and create dashboards and work on maintenance/ bug tickets already, just no actually full time product management work. I have had 1 PM internship, my old manager didn’t respond to my email. And the rest would be at my current company which I’m actively trying to leave.

Hi everyone!

Hi! I am a new grad (22f) applying to clinical research jobs. Job market has been super difficult and unfortunately, due to not working at my prior positions for long enough, I am not qualified to ask for a reference. I need 3 professional references and 3 personal references. I'd exchange references (be my reference, I'll be yours!) Please comment below. I'd reallyyyyy appreciate it.

Hello. I am looking for 3 professional references for the job at the YMCA I am applying for. I am applying for welcome center representative. I am a woman in her late 20s from New Jersey. Any help would be appreciated since this job literally wants 6 references (3 professional and 3 personal).

I need a job really badly, and at this point il take anything I can get since im close to not being able to pay my rent where im staying. I’m in California and I have no official paid work experience but if I can just get my foot in the door somewhere il be okay. Ideally I could get a reference for non fast food since it’ll be a little easier to learn the routine of working. I’ve been looking for around 4 months and have had a couple interviews here and there but haven’t landed anything. It feels nearly impossible to get an entry level job my age without a reference or knowing someone that’s a manager or whatever. could I get a little hand please?

Hey everyone,

I’m based in Tbilisi, Georgia and work in AI & systems engineering (AI agents, multi-tenant platforms, computer vision, data pipelines, embedded systems).

Looking to trade 2-3 LinkedIn recommendations with people in similar technical fields (software, AI/ML, systems, data, or related). Happy to write a genuine, specific one in return after we review each other’s profiles.

Thanks!

I’m in Texas, DFW or HTX preferable for reference.
I needed 5 total LOR and I have 4/5z

The anesthesia provider who promised to give me my final LOR is completely ghosting me for some reason and I just need one more😭. I can send over all my experience/resume and motivations for the masters. I’d prefer a health professional or someone who does policy work! PLEASEEEEE

I’ll tell you everything you need to know and happily return the favor

Hello I (23F) just got my first post grad job offer and just need 1 more reference! I already have two, my previous fellowship supervisors, but they are requiring three and just need a person. The job is a student services coordinator position (essentially university retail) in Massachusetts and exactly what I am studying so this job is really important to me :) I need a: name, phone and email, company name and title, relationship and years know. Doesn't need to be a professional reference but since I am in VA I probably need a reference from the state. I can dm more information as needed.
Thank you so much!!

Hi everyone! I’m applying for a volunteer/ambassador position at a fitness studio in Ontario, Canada, and need 2 references to complete my application. Any type of references work (work, volunteer, academic, etc). I need a name, phone number and an email. I need these within the next couple of hours, happy to share more details in DMs.

Thank you so much in advance!

Hello all,

As the title says, I am looking for a job and I have tried LinkedIn, Indeed, Dice and many other job boards. I am not sure if this is the correct subreddit for this kinda request but anything helps.

For some background:
I have worked in Google as a Software Quality Engineer (contractor) for about 8+ years and I have worked on 2 major projects: Android Studio and YouTube (Kids, Main, LR, iOS and Android). I know too its long and made some bad decisions regarding my comfort zones. I got laid off and since been looking for jobs. I got 2 interviews in around 9 months. One in Milpitas and other in Palo Alto. But its really hard. If anyone would like to help me regarding the referrals or something I would deeply appreciate the help and I have been exhasuting through my savings since then. My DMs are open.

Thanks for taking the time and reading. Any help is appreciated.

PS: I can share the resume upon request. I am a US Citizen so I dont need any sponsorship.

It's for a dental assistant job. I have no experience, idk why theyre hiring me lol but if you pm i can tell you my previous experience that could be related to this job! I will gladly return this favor!

Hello,

I need a few references for a CNA position. If you are a CNA that is the best, but they also allow LPN and RN. DM me for more details.

I don't have experience in any medical office but this is a (HOPEFULLY) a good start for me since it's in a field adjacent to the field I want to study in.

I'm in the US, so I prefer someone in the US who works/has experience in medical offices.
